For Chrissake was caused by a bacteria not a virus. This show is full of misinformation and irrational actions.

If you liked Fast and Furious 7

then you will certainly like this. Car chases, explosions, bullets flying, hand to hand combat, damsels in distress and treachery. Fast paced action with an extra sprinkling of complex plot. One user pointed out that an over used plot device was used (SPOILER)i.e.that the wife had died. Well did she? I compare this the FF7 mainly because if The God's Eye role that the Dealer plays and the action. The acting is very good. And Wesley knocks it out of the part as an amoral, ambivalent sociopath with a personality, and he radiates danger. Far-fetched? Maybe, but so was FF7 and I enjoyed that!

The protagonist, Phillip Winchester looks the part of an action hero and plays it well.

Jungle Gold (2012– )

A very sterilized view

of mining, but if you look very carefully you can see all the damage being done to the land everywhere that has been mined nothing grows. It's easy to tell when an area has been mined. That's because almost a pound of mercury is released into the environment for every pound of gold removed. It goes into the land the rivers into the fish and anything in the food chain that eats those fish. The large mining operations recover most of their mercury and reuse it but these small operations don't and are very destructive. They come into these third world countries, take and giver nothing back, but expect us to sympathize with them. You can be successful in America. You don't have to go and rape some struggling country's rain forest.

The Wolverine (2013)

The best version of Wolverine but
27 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Why oh why can't Hollywood stay true to the characters and their abilities? Wolverine survives an atomic bomb, but his body doesn't reject a robotic spider placed in it? The Silver Samurai is a bad guy but he is an honorable bad guy. This version of him is not. Also he is not supposed to be a technology based bad guy. See this is the same BS we saw in Iron Man three, and I for one am getting tired of it! The Mandarin was a fake. There seems to be an unwillingness to deal with magical or non technology based power. God knows if there is ever a Dr Strange movie he'll be fighting a robot, android, or some technological power based bad guy also. I think the bad guys and their motives were the weakest ingredients in this movie. These are fantastic characters, Hollywood. Stop toning them down. If the writers can't handle the fantastic get capable writers.

Better than I expected
26 July 2013
There was some sketchy dialog particularly noticeable when Dolph's character max was speaking with his fellow soldier while they were walking on the bridge early in the movie, and some of the acting was stilted, but I loved that the zombies moved quickly and the robots were fun. The Dolphster is getting old, you could tell by his movements, especially when he runs, but he is in excellent shape. Dolph plays the part of the stoic unwilling hero well. The CGI was not Lucas film quality but it was not distracting. The main characters had clear personalities and weren't all generic. I only wish the end wasn't so predictable as to who would survive.

Grimm (2011–2017)

OK time the move the story along now
17 February 2012
The premise is interesting. Detective suddenly inexplicably finds out he is a Grimm with the inherent power to see supernatural beings out of fairytale lore. Grimms because of their reputation as killers of such beings are feared. Unlike other Grimms our hero is a 'good' Grimm and uses his powers only to solve crimes. Curiously, it seems all the cases he happens to be involved in has a fairytale component. Now, this reputation that Grims have is being used by our hero to intimidate fairytale suspects and witnesses, but one has to wonder how long this will last when the creatures realize he is all bark and no bite? They are beginning to drag this series out as they are already into 11 episodes and no resolution of the subplots i.e. the police captain who is a creature, why is this Grimm untrained, does he have any powers aside from the ability to see creatures? If not what's to fear? I for one am beginning to get bored of the monster of the week storyline and wants this story to move forward or they will have lost me as viewer.

The Grey (2011)

Lacks closure
3 February 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Most of the decisions by the leader (Liam Neeson's character) did not make sense. Yet at the same time he didn't seem to be leading the men so much as letting them follow him while at the same time giving directions. What the heck? He leaves a guy behind to die with no real attempt to encourage the man to go on. He kills the wolf in the end I think, but this should have been a savage fight scene instead of the movie ending as he charged. This should have been just a brutal fight between man and nature from the go instead of all the existential preaching. I feel they tried to do too much with what should have been a movie with a straightforward plot.

Edge of your seat fun
30 June 2011
If you happen to notice a lot of senseless killing in this movie then you haven't missed the point. Solid acting by Cuba and the rest of the cast. This is a premise i personally haven't seen before, and I thought well done. I and the people I was watching the movie with were glued to the screen. Cuba emanated a aura of danger and a love of killing that came across very well. There was a scene that was too reminiscent of terminator, and I was surprised they dared to go that route, but it was also quite gripping. I think this dark role is a good one for Cuba. He needed to do something shocking to remind us he's still around The female lead is hot. I would love to see more of her.
