Captain America: Civil War (2016)

An average movie

Let me be plain and simple. I didn't liked the movie much. First of all, it wasn't a captain America movie at all.This movie was more about the Iron man, Black panther ,the winter soldier, helmut zemo and the disintegration of the avengers.They were trying to keep the captain in the center of whatever is happening but the movie had more to do with the characters i mentioned before.

Secondly, the plot holes were huge in the movie.

• Why wasn't vision in lagos? - Spiderman was only included to show that marvel has acquired the rights to the character. -how can a camera be put in the jungle region just to capture the stark family death?

The real problem with this movie was - it took the audience for granted. It was made on the belief that the people will lap it up ignoring the flaws.

I am aware that there will be people who would not agree with me but that's fine by me.

Never seen a romantic comedy like this

I guess the worst feeling i had after watching the movie was - why didn't i see it before. I just came to know that its inspired by the play - CYRANO DE BERGERAC. I haven't watched the original play so i can't compare with it but the basic thing that works for the movie is the real people with real emotions that exists in this world. The emotion of low self esteem is wide spread in this world. Without thinking anyone can say that Janeane's acting was stood out in the movie. The basic requirement of a rom-com is to be realistic and display emotions that pertain to individuals thought process. No doubt in saying that this movie excels in that aspect.Definitely not a movie to be missed.

The Conjuring (2013)

best horror movie

No doubt that it is the best horror movie. I will admit that i was skeptical at first about watching it but it paid off in the end. The horror has some similarities to the one in the paranormal activity movies. The points that makes it a perfect horror movie : 1. Adding Ed and Lorraine Warren to the mix. 2. The display of horror which gets explained as the story moves. 3. The inclusion of humor and emotions. 4. The acting of Vera Farmiga. The other actors were awesome as well. 5. The story and screenplay as a whole. 6. The best character development.7. Climax sequence. 8. The feeling of realism . Definitely not a movie to be missed. My rating : 9/10

Focus (II) (2015)

A good movie

I saw the movie last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Will smith wins all in his performance. Seeing will smith conning people with the utmost of ease is just awesome. Margot Robbie is just about Okay in the movie but will smith is the mainstay of the movie. The first half is better than the second half. Second half is darker but it was needed that way. The other cast were just the supporting ones and they were alright in their act.I will admit that you can't watch it more than once because the secret of the movie is out. But the movie deserves to be watched at least once. Definitely a one time watch at the very least. My rating - 6.5/10.

Waking Madison (2010)

one of the very few movies that talks about the inner self

First and foremost, you will not like a movie if you wish to think very little when watching the content of any movie. This is a movie about the journey inwards of a woman. A woman whose life is falling apart. The character representation of the mental states of the protagonists is awesome. The visualization capability of the director is commendable. She takes a persons life and analyzes and visualizes it in her own way. The representation can be easily related to the audience. I wouldn't say that its a great movie but it surely is a movie if you are in a thinking mood .

My rating - 6/10.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009)

Cannot get a more heartfelt genuine movie

One of those few movies which anyone can relate to easily and end up crying in their handkerchief. I saw the movie on my television and i can never forget this one. hundreds of movie come and go .. some stay with you for a day and some stay with you for a month and some stay with you for a year or so. Movies like this stays with you forever.Anyone who has a heart will be able to relate to the movie. It doesn't requires one to have a dog in the house to like a movie like this. But in case you don't have a dog then you will feel like having one after watching this movie.In case you haven't watched this then go find a CD/DVD and do watch it.There's no way anyone will get disappointed after watching this one.

My Rating 10/10.

Knock Out (2010)

better than the original

Well of course you are going to catch the theme of the movie to be inspired from the Hollywood flick - Phone booth. But the Phone booth was a unique movie though meaningless. The question arises in the viewers mind is, why would a sniper keep a person hostage in a phone booth without much of a meaningful conclusion. The biggest flaw in the original has been corrected in this movie. The sniper had a purpose behind holding him and it turns out to be patriotic at the end of the day.The movie has its share of shortcomings as well. For example the dialogues could have been more spot on. But, the screenplay is engrossing which keeps you on the hook and there fore is not a boring movie by any standards. It also shows the level of corruption in our country and how one man can make a difference to the whole system.

My Rating - 7/10.

do watch it at least once.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

Awesome movie

If someone thought that Captain America is the most vulnerable superhero then see this movie. It is bound to change your perception. This has to be one of the best marvel movie ever made. The conspiracy,the revelations, the action, the light moments, are all worth watching.There's everything in this movie and anyone watching it is sure to love it. Especially, the fight between the captain and the winter soldier is the highlight of the movie. This movie also gives an insight on the black widow. The reason becomes apparent that the assassin girl deserves a movie of her own. Overall, its a must watch movie for everyone. My Rating : 8/10. Must watch. Don't miss this one.

Jack the Giant Slayer (2013)

A movie that ends with a smile on your face

I have very little knowledge of the relevant fairy tale but i did enjoy the movie. The chemistry between the lead pair (Jack and Isabelle)and the emotions that drives the adventure deserves applause. In case you think that it's a kid's story then you are absolutely mistaken because most of the relevant parts of the story happens due to the love between the lead pair. The movie has everything from fantasy to comedy to action to emotional heartbreak to a great climax. I wouldn't say that it's great but its a good one to watch on your day off which leaves you with a happy mind.

Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)

just an okay okay movie for transformers fans

It's just about a okay okay movie for the transformers fans. Those who didn't liked the earlier movies will not like it. There are a lot of unexplained things in the movie as well which will become the cause of creation of the next movie(for example : who had sent lock down in the first place) .The plot as a whole is not coherent and takes unexpected turns as the movie goes along. perhaps a less complicated script and more meanings and reasons were to be added. Hongkong is not displayed properly. I would also say that it bears a lot of resemblance to the first movie that came out in 2007. Over all its a okay okay watch but for one time only.

Highway (I) (2014)

the best movie in the recent times

I watched the critic reviews before going for the movie and most of them were antagonistic towards the movie. But i have always had faith in the work of Imtiaz Ali. And when i completed watching the movie, i knew that the decision of not following the critics was the correct one.

I have to say that it's one of the best movies made in India which is easily comparable with any movie of Hollywood's highest standards.The movie is not about masala(song/dance/action) but of coherency in the values and emotions that it's trying to convey.Must watch for everyone. Don't miss the highway.its a ten star movie.
