10 = All time favourite films - my top films, films I am in love with, films with limited faults that hold a special place in my heart, films that blow me away like no others, my best of the best.
9 = Favourite films - special films that I consider amongst my favourites, would enthusiastically recommend and are absolute must-sees.
8 = Great films - a cut above, brilliant films that were unique / stay in your head / were incredibly acted or directed, films that resonate strongly with me in some way. Would make a conscious effort to actively recommend.
7 = Very good films - really enjoyable, liked it a lot, would definitely recommend.
6 = Good films - enjoyable, worth a watch, glad I saw.
5 = OK films - neither good nor bad, the kind of films that would collect dust in your DVD library, had neutral or very mixed feelings about.
4 = Lame films - not entertaining / not worth a watch, watching once was almost too much, would never recommend and will (hopefully) not watch again
3 = Bad films - poor films that are a waste of time and energy, really difficult to sit through, refuse to ever watch again.
2 = Least favourite films - really bad films I actively despise, seriously painful to sit through, would actively warn people about watching these films
1 = All time least favourite films - total waste of time films, not even a guilty pleasure or so bad its good films, could talk endlessly and cry thinking about these films and how much I actively despise them, films that should be wiped from existence to prevent potential viewers from a painful and totally pointless viewing experience.
