ThanksKilling 3 (2012)
Different? No, just plain rubbish
Honestly if there was a way to give this film a zero I would
I really enjoyed the first one because of its silly plot and they went all out with the premise.....this film just feels like they went up their own ass and man if I was one of the people who donated to the fundraiser I'd have been POed
They spend most of the film focusing on a stupid puppet who has lost its mind....literally that's all the exposition given at the start on the film. Then there's a space worm who was Turkie's costar in the fake 2nd film and a whole bunch of stupid characters which along with the lame script, lame trippy music videos for some reason and lame jokes makes for the longest 99 mins I've had in a long time
To quote Homer Simpson, "I've seen plays more entertaining than this.....honest to god plays!"
I can't put into words accurately how much I f****** hate this film
300: Rise of an Empire (2014)
Almost exactly what I expected
I've seen quite a few reviews bemoaning this film and praising the original as if it was a modern masterpiece. Now don't get my wrong I liked the first one but *Insert your choice for best film ever here * it ain't. As soon as I heard about this one I kinda knew what you'd get, similar to the first film but missing a few things that made the original more enjoyable. The main lead, for example. In this was OK, but just kinda there. The dialogue in the original had some great lines but nothing special here. There's some kind of plot trying to get out but doesn't quite manage to do so here, the battles drown it out. Though I said earlier I knew what I was getting, what this film does do well, is the villain. Interesting back story and motivation (shame the hero didn't get one) with some good acting by Eva Green. I didn't bother going to see this in cinema, I just wanted till it was on blu-Ray and waited till it dropped in price to boot so I felt like I got my money's worth. So if you are realistic about what you will get (Good villain, decent action) then you should be reasonably entertained
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (2002)
Absolutley Brillant - One of the best
Now to start I never played Hitman 2. I first heard bout the game in previews then someone who had bought it gave me a loan. At first i hated this game because I found it to be slow moving but then I was given it as a present. After playing it I actually fell in love with it. This game is cool in that it makes you want to go stealth. You can solve problems with multiple solutions but eventually you want to see if you have the skill to do it through stealth. And you will need a high amount of skill because at times this game seems impossible but believe me if you stick with it you will be rewarded with a great sense of pride. Overall anyone should buy this 10/10
Pervirella (1997)
My head hurts!
I have a friend who is one of the cult bouff fans and he loves this film. He loaned it to me in an attempt to persuade me to join the bouff cult but it pushed me in the opposite direction. On to the movie - where oh where oh where oh where do I start? Duff acting, duff script, duff effects that are befitting of this 'Z' movie. It is supposed to be an arousing comedy but it fails in both areas. If you have committed an evil sin and want to evil up the score with the almighty then watching this film will even up the score.
Street Fighter (1994)
This film deserves more respect!
I'm disappointed that this film is anywhere near the bottom 100. I agree some of the dialouge is cheesy (Bison's speech to his troops before the assault on Bison's island) but some of the scenes are brillant. Personally I crack up every time Van Damme pulls out the swiss army knife and believes that to be the reason that Bison's army is backing off. The role of Bison is played to OTT perfection as it should be in my view by Raul Julia, and also Kylie ain't that bad either. One final comedy scene to leave you with is when Bison is talking about how the world will rest in his loving hands and Zangief starts to sob "That was beautiful". LOL
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)
This movie rules!
This movie was the last in the view askew series and in my view it is one of the best. Jay and Silent Bob finally get the screen time they deserve and the casting of Will ferrell as a Federal Wildlife Marshal in the movie was genius. Eliza Dushku and Shannon Elizabeth are good in their roles. The best out of the smaller roles was Sean William Scott as goofy brent the animal guy. This movie is a lot of fun and everybody should go and see it!
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)
Very Good but can't reach the level of T2
I'm gonna keep this kinda short and sweet - I really enjoyed this film, the ending was cool but there was something about T2 (Maybe it was Robert Patrick as an intimidating terminator - Something Loken couldn't quite achieve or Edward Furlong playing John) but somehow T2 just seemed to have that little bit something that made it a great movie. Still T3 is a very good movie - if you haven't seen it then do.
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)
This movie is horrible
There are some movies that are so bad they are good - Tomb raider is not one of this. From the bad plot to the bad script this movie has no redeeming features what-so-ever except that at least Jolie is good on the eyes but you can always look at pictures of her and you won't have to sit through this brain-damaging movie. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
