Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Diffcult to recreate the magic of Part 1 but Cameron comes close.
Bro, It's been too long! No one cares about 3D anymore Bro! But, here we are after a 13-year slumber, waiting to be proven wrong by James Cameron. Does he do it again?
Visually, Cameron manages to meet audience expectations making full use of Dolby 3D although personally, it was a little bit jarring when frame rates were switched. You can expect to be transported to Pandora's seas. Wakanda forever or Aquaman's underwater scenes cannot hold water against James Cameron's Avatar. That said, Avatar needs to pad up in the story and dialogue department and maybe also try cutting down the runtime a bit.
Kiri was a standout character for me. Jesus! I didn't even realize it was played by Sigourney again.
"James, I will watch your movie as many times as I have to!"
Sincerely,
Your Fan.

Inception on Drugs ! Expect to have a polarised opinion.
As a Nolan Aficionado, I was truly pumped up for this film. The fact that I never watch any trailers to keep myself in mystery and this being the first film I was able to see with my friends after a long time took my expectations and my excitement to the Zenith !
As a plot heavy film with beautiful visuals, action sequences and top notch acting from the cast (didn't expect so many actors from order of phoenix to be in this film) the film doesn't disappoint what Nolan fans have come to expect. But there are a lot of glaring issues that needs introspection.
1) First, many of friends and myself included felt the sound effects and background score subdued voice and it was considerably harder to discern.
2) Scene transitions were less fluidic. The protagonist jumps from one location to another in a fleeting instance. (no, this is not related to plot or time inversion)
3) Expository scenes intended to explain audiences of critical points felt very rushed.
4) I felt Nolan chose to cop-out whenever there was something abstract/difficult to explain, similar to "they" in interstellar
Conclusion - You will scratch your heads ! You will keep guessing till the end ! Many will have a polarised reception ! But you will have fun.
As always, please take all necessary precautions while enjoying the movie with families and friends !
Papanasam (2015)
Its not very often for you to see a remake surpass the original !
The movie starts with an apt intro detailing the nature of Suyambulingam , a honest and hard working family man. But his peace is short lived after a very disturbing derogatory event . The Story then catches fire taking us through journey of trickery deception and deceit.
Kamals acting is top notch , makes us think whether there is anyone alive who is even remotely as talented .The entire cast delivers. Excellent work by Jeyamohan (Writer) gives us an even more intense and tight movie compared to the original version ! The movie hits the bulls eye in every major spot you would like a movie to - Story , Direction , Writing , Acting etc.
Expect a Fast paced thriller ride to experience with your family .
A Solid 9/10
