Omg is the acting bad or is it the script. I. Not sure Ito either. I think it's both.

I'm not an old man but in my lifetime I have seen this synopsis repeated over and over and this version is not doing so well. The acting in the pilot is bad as is the script,

I'll tough it out as I think shows need a few episodes to get going but so far in this world of streaming and click the next one it's a lacklustre show and will end up like the rest of these type of "genre shows" being cancelled after season 2. I'll name them all Soon but give this one a fighting chance before I tar the brush.

Check back when I get to episode I stopped watching.

The Most Fertile Man in Ireland (2000)

OK its not brilliant BUT.

Its a black comedy aimed at the British sense of humor. Me well i am Scottish and thought some parts were really funny.

Others will comment on bad lighting, bad direction, bad script. well i am not commenting on that. The film was good enough to warrant my recommendations. The concept in itself is hilarious and the whole Catholic & protestant divide made funny in places.

The end is SOOO predictable but welcomed.

In the end no Hollywood Budget, No bangs no severe twists but worth looking at anyway.

The Stepford Wives (2004)

OK i have seen the original when i was a kid and i must admit that film has always been a favourite. Not for the acting and not for the special effects but for the story and concept. (shy to admit never new it was a book until recently) Anyway seeing the new film has provided a good update. The gay insert if not a bit PC was rather funny and worth it.

Nicole Kidman has done a good job and well Chris W was as diverse as he will ever be and it is always a pleasure to see him act.

The story itself had not changed much until near the end.

It was a good film not brilliant but me being a good old fashioned male and liking Scifi and action there was a bit less that i expected.

Never the less its a film to sit down with the Missus and watch.
