Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)
Well done
Tom cruise were able to successfully finish another good movie in a short period of time, after Top Gun. He redefines action movies as he still doing his job, not being old, not pretending to be a young guy.
The character is more than ever, smart, dare, strong, and prudent. Surrounded by old friends, he is able to pursuit what he believes in and do what is good for his country and the world.
It's good to see that there are still to see more from this sequel and the producers are not running out of good ideas, especially with the new technologies and the current focus on AI and the debate wether it's good for us or we have to be careful.
Good movie and I recommend watching it.
Man vs Bee (2022)
Light comedy
Maybe when we watch any Atkinson work we blindly compare it to Mr. Bean, which will always separate us from his creative characters. This show might needs to be more fun, where cute dogs and lovely decore won't be enough for what we expect from him.
I'm not giving it 6/10 because it's not good enough, but the average performance and the lowest effort, is what we usually expect from Netflix. Still, I watched the whole series, and would recommend it for people looking for light and simple comedy.
Furthermore, it's better to watch it in one or two sessions, which will keep your built up motive to complete the series.
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
They had enough time to make it better
Yes, nothing new here, and the plot is predictable and on average level.
I don't understand why they keep showing the military force personnel as dump headless evils. I'm sure todays technology could have done better in the battlefield against the Navi.
Also, the sea creatures in such rich planet, is very limited in terms of biodiversity. Did they just copy many of their graphic works from Avatar 2008?
They could have done better than this, you should always add, you have to add to the story, the visuals, the twists...
Also, they should show us how people on earth reacting to these events, 2 movies and there is no connection to us, the people of earth.
Not very bad but not good enough.
House of the Dragon: King of the Narrow Sea (2022)
Don't compare this series to GOT
This is the first season and all what is delivered so far is the Targaryen drama.
The story may seem too narrow but I think they are giving us in depth view to the life of a Targaryen generation and their struggle to keep good relations between each other.
What is good about this show that it's unpredictable, and we don't know (supposedly) wether the Targaryens will destroy themselves or they will unite and keep the realm under their wings.
This episode revealed the different directions and ambitions of each Targaryen, but there is still a lot to see how the king, prince, and princess will manage their relation with each other while each one have his/her own goal.
Westworld: Fidelity (2022)
Phenomenal
Caleb is such an amazing actor, the whole idea of interacting with the previous Calebs was great.
Can't wait to see what Caleb 279 will do.
Also it's really sad that this will end after 2 episodes:/
Westworld: Années Folles (2022)
Waiting for more
This is one good episode, it feels the story is kicking off and the good stuff is coming.
Can't really say more at this point, no one can predict or fully explain the different worlds and storylines.
The Batman (2022)
Yes, it's that good
The first thing that moves me to theater is the good actors, while I was not sure about Pattinson playing Batman and Bruce Wayne, I can say that he fits well and performed superbly.
I liked the sounds effects so much, the soundtrack, the darker dark theme, and the feeling that a lot of things are happening at once in intense scenes.
There is no single character in the movie without being greatly involved in the story and the drama surrounding it. Everybody looks like a Gotham local and they are all affecting on each other and connected to the events in this great city.
I'm not a 10/10 giver, and I put this in between 8 to 9. But I will be grateful for the efforts in the movie and close it on 9/10.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Memories
I can't describe in words how this brought back so much memories, a 20 years journey of being Spider-Man fan, all in one movie, and this is No Way Home to me.
I love them all, the 3 Spider-Mans, or men..
this is one good movie with outstanding achievements in many aspects.
Go watch it and enjoy the action, story, cast, visuals, and your beloved characters!
Arcane: League of Legends: Welcome to the Playground (2021)
Very good show
This episode shows you how good this series and how popular it will be.
From the good story telling and events to the great work in graphics, this colorful journey is pleasant to the audience and definitely we will ask for more.
Mai Neim: Episode #1.3 (2021)
Yes, 9/10
This is one good episode, with very good action and nice music.
The first person POV was a good addition to the overall good acting and movement. Also, there is some good detailing for each scene.
You will definitely want to continue watching after this episode.
Ojing-eo geim (2021)
Good show, not more.
While this is somehow entertaining, yet there are a lot of boring moments, especially, as stated in other reviews, the terrible acting by half of the total cast.
This show suffers of the repetitive design of many aspects, such as the costume, music, places, even the reaction of the actors.
Also, there is always a boring moment between the games, and that's while the games it self are not epic nor serious but some how they finish it with lots of blood and death...
AlRawabi School for Girls (2021)
Ridiculous
This is just poor and terrible attempt to organize some scattered, lifeless, and random scenes to build a TV series...
Underwater (2020)
Nothing
There is nothing to watch in this movie, no characters, weak directing, bad story and the movie scenes mostly unclear..
Just skip this.
Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn (2020)
Funny
This is one entertaining and fun movie to watch, yet it's weird and a little fast paced.
Though there is no connection between the characters, the writing managed to put them all in a connected series of events.
Have fun
Westworld: The Winter Line (2020)
One word: unpredictable
Yes this episode is a typical Westworld concept.
You can't predict what happens next or why.
Who is real and who is a simulation! man I definitely like this season. Can't wait for the next episodes.
The Witcher: The End's Beginning (2019)
Overrated by the Witcher fans
But still giving this a chance and will see what the next episode will give. Directing, sound and story telling is 5/10 anything else is just average.
Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)
Enjoyable but repeated
I enjoyed watching it, but it's the same story and the same characters. it's just another copy of the first film which I watched many times because it's original fun.
No need to watch this again...
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)
Unnecessary story
The storyline felt weak, fast and without real events, but there were some enjoyments.
This movie is more like a little extension to the previous one, but making it in 2 hours, this was really with low content.
Westworld: Les Écorchés (2018)
High tech?
I can't understand why the security forces acts so dumb and looks like noobs with zero training.
With all the advancements in the world as suggested how come they don't have special weapons and equipments, only these guns.
Hosts can wander all over the facilities there is no gates or doors and everything looks so open for anyone wishing to enter.
Not professional at all and I didn't like this in this episode.
Westworld: Trompe L'Oeil (2016)
Great episode
Here Dr. Ford is the real god, but did he really kill Arnold?
It's odd how answering few questions in each episode lead to raise more..
This episode will get you attached to this series more than you expected
Chernobyl: 1:23:45 (2019)
Very interesting and very real
What I liked most is the simplicity, no need for making a fire show and huge explosions and sounds just to attract the viewer.
it feels real, from the atmosphere, the characters, the policy, the procedures and so on.
Worth watching.
Instinct (1999)
Great movie by my favorite actor Anthony Hopkins
I always look for the special touch of the lead actor in any movie I watch, and here is exactly what I like about Anthony, the deep character, interesting story and the good ending.
I recommend this movie and it should be rated higher than average.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
The only way to finish the events of the series
This was very logical ending. The series had too many kinds of events and this was the only way to put an end to it.
Great series.
Thank you westerosians.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Jon snow is helpless
I don't know why Jon snow kept playing like a soft and kneeling character, isn't he proud to be half Stark half Targaryen.. also where is Bran and Sansa, Arya spent the episode running around.
The only hero in the episode was the dragon and that's it.
