Talk to Me (2022)
I don't get all the buzz
I was so hoping to see this movie, great reviews, great backstory on how it ended a A24 movie, but damn it was boring.
Predictable, main character very annoying, and N O T S C A R Y.
Possession is the violation of the soul, when you give consent, it takes away all the disturbing aspect of it.
Then there is no resolution for the possessed boy, so...we leave it like that? Why???? Couldn't they find a a way inside their lore to make it happen?
Am I missing something?
It was such a cool concept and it ended drown in a lot of drama. This is definitely not horror movie, they gpt away with the genre because of the supernatural aspect of it and the couple visuals pf the ghosts but, dont be fooled, this is a dark teen drama.
Resurrected (2023)
Bad acting all through
The main character is so unlikable, there is no chemistry between the family.
I don't want to spoil anything in case someone reading this wants to check this movie out...just to let you know it will be really hard to get into the story with such unnatural dialogue, force interactions and non sense.
I don't know...it was a good concept with a real bad execution...the screen camera set up...tiresome after the first 15 minutes, everything feels clean cut and stereotyped.
Acknowledging the fact that making a movie is an achievement, and much respect for accomplished it, and let this be a learning experience.
Violent Night (2022)
David Harbour just makes me happy
They couldn't find a better Santa than David Harbour for this Christmas blast.
I would put this movie right there with Krampus, witty, holiday atmosphere, and enough violence to make it a fun ride to watch with the most cynical of your relatives.
David Harbour is just such a joy on screen...there is no other actor to play this disenchanted Santa Claus, alcoholic, tattooed loaded, self stitching wounds Santa that manages to stay charming while killing bad guys.
Looking forward to more Christmas movies like this one. There is no need to be corny for a holiday movie and Violent Night is here to prove it.
The Accursed (2022)
Bland lead character
I was really hoping to get some good witchy horror but just got this...the lead feels so off vibe for the tone they were going for. What can I say...if that girl is a nurse I am Marilyn Monroe.
It is impossible to feel any scare through this character, I gave it a 3 stars for Mena Suvari and Meg Foster, and maybe the production design...the houses are really creepy...but that just come with the southern gothic style.
The opening feels from a completely different movie, and it is so disappointing that it is not that movie.
Thought to turned off before half way but kept the hope it would get better...so naive.
Prey (2022)
It is a closer movie to the original than any other in the saga
This predator is terrifying...What the heck!!
I just gotta say...it is a shame that they native Americans defeated the predator but they couldn't get rid of the colonies.
Supernatural: Bitten (2012)
These kids are sooo overacting
Feels fake and amateur...I am so sorry for Sam and Dean in this episode.
The found footage was a bad option...you need to be a great director to pull it off.
Reacher (2022)
Hell Yeah!
EFing love it. Great kick the bad guys ass (in this case elbow the bad guys face) type of action. And it is soooo satisfying.
Cannoy wait for the second season to season to premiere.
Just watch it!!!!
The Angry Birds Movie (2016)
Sean Penn just grunts and its hilarious
I love the story, animation and characters
Super fun, not dull moment and very feel-good movie.
I have played the game and even when it is connected you can watch it without any precious knowledge of it.
Dybbuk Box: The Story of Chris Chambers (2019)
What?!
If it is just for trade...why did it cost $250?
The smell is probably the dude from the dark web peeing all over to give it the extra evilness.
Son (2021)
Dont make any sense
The mom sees her son eating out of the guts of her neighbor and she is like, "good night hun"
And whats with the artwork at her school class?!?! Is she teaching the kids how to splatter blood when "Dextering" a victim?
Her "cult" friend, where do I begin...
And the sound...what the actual f*%> you cant hear dialogue so you are pretty much clueless of what they say.
The Rental (2020)
All deserved to die but Michelle, Reggie and Taylor
I cannot get around of how unlikable almost everyone is and then the " I know what you did last summer" plot
What the f...
