Loved the art, loved the story

The whole thing was superb, from the art to the story. Refreshing and I think this is now my favourite Spiderman movie. Loved the positive message and the humor.

Wat happened to GoT?
9 May 2019
I don't get it. It used to be such an amazing show, I loved every second of it. But now, I just can't. A few things that bothered me in this episode:

-Euron ambushing Danny - how?! She was flying across the sky, she should've seen him, even if his fleet was hiding behind the rocks -Danny's dragon dying just like that - he/she survived the Night King and the army of dead only to be killed within a few seconds in an ambush that seemed pretty unbelievable -Danny not firing fire at Euron's fleet because reasons (also not circling them and attacking from behind) -Danny trying to make Cersei surrender with a handful of soldiers, exposing herself completely - Why didn't Cersei just end her right then and there? It would've been so easy for her. -Euron not finding the fact that Tyron knew about Cersei and 'his' baby strange at all (I thought he would be surprised realizing the baby wasn't his, but no, he didn't pick up on anything)

And I'm still waititng for Bran to make more sense in the story. And that the whole Night King thing gets more explanation. Right now it really does feel like everything GoT has been building up to is just being scrapped together. I just don't get it. If the writers didn't know what to do wit the story, they should've just pick up one of the fan theories. They were honestly much more interesting and better though out.

An emotional ride with awesome action
15 February 2019
I really liked this. The story started kind of cute with some cliche villains, but as I kept on watching it developed a lot. It was sad to see how fate was cruel to Chikane and Himeko like it tried to do everything to tear them apart. Only at the very end, we see that their story does indeed end happily.

I loved the robots and the action scenes, they were a pretty cool addition and not something you would usually see in a Yuri anime. I liked Soma as well, but only as a friend and protector of both priestesses. It did bother me a little that the anime kept on pushing him and Himeko together plenty of times. But even so, I was really happy that in the end, Himeko realized the one she loved was Chikane and not him. And maybe in a way, it was a good thing that he was such an important character with a strong presence because when Himeko rejected him, it showed how much she actually cared for the beautiful moon girl and that she would choose her no matter what. Nothing like way, way too many yuri animes that focus on girls getting in love with girls only when there are no or barely any males around (like that stupid all-girls school trope). This felt much more real, their love much more powerful. I liked it and I definitely recommend.

Maria Holic (2009–2011)

Funny at first, but got bad pretty fast
10 February 2019
When I started watching I already expected the anime to be a bit ridiculous - it's supposed to be a parody after all. So I tried not to think too much of it and just enjoy the over-the-top humor. Well, at first it was funny, but it soon became clear that this anime is extremely offensive. That a*hole Maria kept on abusing Kanako, both mentally and physically, using the fact that he looked like a girl to mess with her head. Hs maid usually joined him as well. Basic bullying, but for some reason, I feel like the show tried to portray Maria as a good person underneath those layers of pure evil. Say what? And it also bothered me that Maria kept on insisting he didn't like to crossdress when in truth it couldn't be more obvious that he enjoyed being a girl. No one was forcing him, and after learning a reason as to why he was doing it, it was clear he could've stopped if he truly hated it so much. But I guess that would hurt his male pride?

So, to sum this up; it's about a cross-dressing boy bullying a lesbian who's high on hormones (like so many other teenagers, but since her attention is directed at girls, not boys it's somehow "wrong"). I feel like it's giving a seriously bad message, the worst part the fact that the bullies aren't portrayed as doing anything wrong, but like the victim deserved it. Not okay.

The only good thing about this was art. Sometimes it was funny too, but only when the humor wasn't drawn from abusing the MC.

I loved this so much
10 January 2019
Phantom in the Twilight was more than enjoyable to watch. The characters were very well fleshed out, there was a lot of development especially with Ton and her best friend. The idea behind it all is not exactly unique, but it's presented in a fresh and new way. I found the villains a bit cliche, but except that, I liked everything. I recommend watching to those seeking cute fatasy series with just enough darkness and blood to make things interesting.

Killing members of the team one by one...
31 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The plot is good, very well developed. The animation is amazing as well. However, I found this anime quite depressing. From the very beginning, we see the members of the Night Raid being killed off one by one. Although ther deaths are meaninghful (in a way), it's still sad to watch. Not for those who don't like depressing things.

If there'd be more romance and less cooking it would be perfect
19 December 2018
The idea behind this anime seems fresh and unique. I really liked it. The only thng bothering me is that from time to time, it feels almost like a cooking show and there isn't enough romance. *sigh* Other than that, the storyline is compelling and interesting and I can definitelly recommend it.

Simply beautiful
15 December 2018
I'm amazed at how wonderful Sekaiichi Hatsukoi is. Both anime and the manga. The artwork is beautiful, but what really stands out is the amazing storyline. The plot progresses nicely and the romance builds up slowly but steadily until it completely overwhelms you. This really is the world's greatest first love. For a romance, it's quite grounded (but in a good way) and much more realistic than Junjo Romantica. I actually prefer this one. And learning about the creating/editing/publishing manga process was pretty interesting, too. I highlly recommend.

Needs more romance, otherwise great
3 December 2018
I really liked this anime. It's sweet, it's interesting and the art is beautiful. However, I do wish there wouldd've been more romance between Yuzu and Mei. It feels like the first season is more of a foundation for anoter one. From time to time the story does drag a bit as well. But still, I ended up liking it.

One of the best yaoi out there
28 November 2018
Although the anime itself is just 2 episodes *sigh* it really got me into reading the manga with the same name. What you see in animated form is just a beginning, there comes plenty more after that. And oh boy it's good. Thi is one of the most funny, romantic and hot yaoi stories out there. I highly, highly recommend. You can't go wrong with this one.

Super Lovers (2016–2017)
8/10
Not for everyone, but not bad either
28 November 2018
Super Lovers starts when Haru (16) meets his little adoptive brother Ren (8). They spend a summer together, getting to know each other. After that, they're separated and meet again after a few years. During the anime, both guys are growing up, but this is especially noticeable with Ren, who also starts developing feelings for Haru. I'll admit, at first I was creeped out by this fact, not because of the age difference (we all know couples with even larger age gap), not because of the fact that they were adoptive brothers either (if there's no blood relation I'm ok with it). But, what bothered me was the fact that Ren looked so child-like, even after he "grew up." If he could've looked more mature, like his classmates, it would've been much better. Thankfully, there is no romantic relationship between the guys before Ren is about 15-16 years old, and in the second season, he does seem to grow up a bit more. In the end, I did end up liking the anime, but I would really prefer if they made it when Ren reached 18, instead of 16. Other than that, it's actually quite fun.

Needs more romance
28 November 2018
This was fun to watch, but I wish there would be more romance. Clearly, the creators really took the title "Love Is Hard for Otaku " to their heart. If main charchters would at very least kiss, even just once, or maybe even just confess their feelings to each-oher. It would'v been so much better. Well, still it's a fun anime. But romance here seriously sucks.

Liked it
26 November 2018
The story is well-plotted, the charachters are interesting and well developed. As for the romance, I did like it, but I wish there weren't so many episodes on a more depressing side, with all the troubles going on. That is my own personal taste though, so don't let it bother you. The ending was great and really heartwarmng. I can only recommend.

So freaking cute!
25 November 2018
Considering this is a yaoi anime, I was surprised as to how cute it was. I actually liked it quite a lot. The artwork was stunningly beautiful, voice actors great, and the plot was very well-developed. I hope there will be a next season, someday. I would love to see it. Until then, I'm checking out the manga too. Recommended.

Pretty good
23 November 2018
Gamers! is actually pretty good, despite what other reviewers are claiming. It's categorised as romance, and comedy, so of course it will focuse on both elements the most. Games are more of a background, but at the same time, they do influence story a lot. It's not like they're there just for the sake of being there.

I recommend watching. Give it a chance.

Romantic, but...
22 November 2018
The story of Misaki and Usami is super romantic. The real-life problems only add to the charm and the passionate attraction between them is undeniably captivating. I seriously loved watching this.

But... But... Why the heck Misaki keeps on insisting he's straight or into girls, not guys etc??? Even after living with his boyfriend for so long. At very least, he could own up to being a heteroflexible.

This kind of thing, is unfortunatelly not true to just this anime but so many others in yaoi genre. I just don't get it. Why so many guys in there can't own up to their sexuality? Yuri (at least in my experience) has girls realizing they're bi or lesbian much more often. Why are so many guys convinced they're straight when they're litterally "doing it" with other guys, out of their own free will while enjoying it?

Is it just me who gets frustrated by all this and wonders why?

Devils Line (2018– )
10/10
Dark, mysterious, romantic, hot
15 November 2018
Forbidden love. Is there anything more tragic yet also undeniably captivating and romantic? I'm addicted. Devil's line is getting better and better with each episode. The beginning may feel a bit like an insta-love, but it's more of an insta-attraction, so it's okay. And if you keep watching, not only you'll have your heart pounding, but the story will occupy your brain as well. From a dark, vampire romance into a new society, with different rules, new approach to life and big conspiracies. There are also dark themes, adult language, fluffy and cute moments, and hot, steamy scenes.

I highly recommend and, after finishing with the anime, make sure to go read the manga with the same title. It only gets better from there. Oh, and when you reach the final episode, don't forget to watch after the credits. There's a bit of a bonus sene which makes a big difference.

Yona of the Dawn (2014–2015)
9/10
Adventure, fantasy, romance
11 November 2018
After the betrayal of her beloved cousin Su-won, Princess Yona is forced to flee the palace only with Hak, who is both her childhood friend and bodyguard. After meeting the Oracle, they set on finding four guys who inherited dragons' blood to help her survive. During her journey, she soon discovers that her kingdom is not the idyllic place she was lead to believe and starts doing some things to change that.

I absolutely love this anime. Yona especially is evolving a lot throughout the season and her character arch from helpless girl to badass warrior is absolutely amazing. There are also sparks of romance in the air, from both Hak, her loyal and extremely hot bodyguard, and Su-won, the handsome cousin who is a guy you just gotta love to hate and hate to love (at first you might just think he's a villain, but it turns out it's far more complicated than this). I highly, highly recommend this if you like watching people fight and struggle but also create bonds and relationships that last a lifetime. Best way to categorize this masterpiece would be as an adventurous fantasy romance. It certainly gives you chills, in a good way, and toys with your emotions. I highly recommend watching.

PS: The squirrel eating meat and fish was creepy though. I don't know why they had to do it. I don't remember this being the case in the manga. I mean, it's a freaking squirrel. Give him some nuts instead.

Cute, but too unbalanced
6 November 2018
I tried to like this series, I really did. And it does have a lot of good factors; good animation, interesting(ish) protagonist, exciting new elements and magic... However, wat really bothers me is Belldandy's lack of her own personality. From the moment she becomes Keiichi's personal goddess, all she cares about is making him happy. Which is cool and all, but not even once, she has any sort of desire to do/experience something just because of herself. It's like her life started when she met the guy. It's sad because she looks to be highly objectified; a "perfect" girl who does everything the guy tells her to, with a smile on her face, basically being a voluntary slave. Keiichi rarely asks her about her feelings on different matters, even those that directly affect her life. When he falls in love with her his reasons are basically; she's cute, she can cook, she's nice. Seems like this anime is a bit unbalanced, and Belldandy really needs a more complicated personality, with raw emotions, not just smiling all the time.

Fruits Basket (2001)
10/10
Unique, lovable, dark, funny
3 November 2018
Fruits Basket is truly one of the kind. The protagonist, Tohru is a highly lovable heroine and although from time to time her cheerful personality can get a bit annoying, we really see her (and the other characters) grow and evolve throughout the series. At first, it's looking just like an average high-school drama/comedy with a bit of fantasy to spice everything up, but it soon becomes clear that this anime is more, much more. It's light and cheerful, but also dark and terrifying. It can get either heartwarming or heartbreaking. It's a perfet mixture with a well-developed story that will make you care about each and every one of the charachters. The ending is perfect and really wraps everything up, it doesn't leave ou with the feeling that the series is unfinished, like with so many other animes. I highly, highly recommend watching.

Pretty good, just wish there would be more romance
3 November 2018
I really liked this anime, except for one thing; the romance between the main characters was developing too slow. I mean, how blind was Hikari to all of the signs Kei liked her and then realizing she likes him too? Unfortunately, this thickheadedness & ignorance seems to be a disease in most high-school animes, which is pretty annoying. I mean, the chse is fun and all, but not when you spread it over 24 episodes. I wish there would be more romance animes that would show the life of protagonists after they become a couple and make their love grow while facing different challenges. Other than that, I quite liked this one and would still recommend it, and the ending is decent. Kei and Hikari have a good chemistry. The supporting characters were also ery likable and pretty decently developed. In the end, I do recommend S.A.

Confused feelings
31 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!!

This one left me with slightly confused feelings. If the creators focused only on the love story between Koko and Banri, this wouldn't happen. The problem was that they introduced Linda as Banri's past love and the flashbacks proved how much he actually loved her. Even after losing memories and getting into a relationship with Koko, the love for Linda was still there. And she clearly shared the same feelings, just was too scared to tell him, thinking it was already too late because he forgot everything. Koko was great, she really changed from obsessive from amazing girlfriend, but honestly, I didn't think it was even fair to her fro Banri to want and be with her, especially since he still had feelings for the other one. With time, Banri's feelings for Koko grow, but even with that, there's still that love toward Linda. So, yeah, although I did actually like both girls, I feel like he and Linda had more chemistry. I don't know. Maybe it's just me? So, I kind of liked this anime, and I'm not mad or disappointed that he ended up with Koko, but it did leave me with confused feelings.

Fun, romantic, and absolutely breathtaking
29 October 2018
This was sooo good! It was a perfect mixute of comedy and romance and it reallly made you root for the main carachters. Everyone in here has such unique personalities, they're all very well developed and often do unespected things. The only bad side is that there's only one season. I wish there would be more!

Incredibles 2 (2018)

Pretty good
28 October 2018
Incredibles 2 was pretty good and more than worth the wait. I liked it almost as much as the original. The plot was good, a bit predictable, but not bad at all, as some people claim. I also like that they went with switched roles for the parents (working mom, stay-at-home dad), because it's the 21st century and if stay-at-home mom and a working dad is deemed normal, why couldn't the opposite work as well? Plus, both Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl still got to work as a team in fighting villains. The kids were cool too. Only the scene with Jack-Jack and raccoon wasn't funny, although I believe it was supposed to be? I don't know. It seemed like animal cruelty. Thankfully, nothing really happened, not to the baby and not to the raccoon. I recommend watching.

Heartwarming, just not a romance
28 October 2018
I really, really liked this anime. It's absolutely heartwarming and the ending is quite satisfying. If you like fantasy, you'll love this one. All the characters have their own unique personalities, they're very likable and it doesn't hurt they all look good, too, lol. However, if you're here for romance I just need to warn you there isn't any. I'm not sure why it's even classified as such. Still, the friendship all of the characters develop with each other makes it more than worth watching. Too bad there's only one season.
