Uncle (I) (2018)

Will make you wonder when a plot twist will happen but it never does....BORING
4 August 2018
I decided to watch this after seeing good ratings and reviews online but I really shouldn't have even attempted to watch it. The beginning went well and established that something was eerie about the situation of the characters. Tension was very slowly being built up to a point and I was eagerly waiting for the turning point. The movie was getting very close to ending, something so very unexpected by super dull happens and the film ends. Why did I waste my time with this utter bore is beyond me. It's not a Thriller in any way so do me a favor and don't watch this unless it's just for mamooty's performance.

Blatant rip-off
7 December 2016
Up until I found out that this movie was ripped from the English film "The Number 23", I was surprised and satisfied with the movie. It was after watching this that I read somewhere about the similarity. I then watched the English film and my curiosity, it was exactly the same to the smallest detail.

Even if the makers claim its inspired, i would call it copying or ripping off. It was not an idea borrowed but the whole story used without consent and some minor reworking that cannot hide the truth.

What I can acknowledge is that the actors did their roles well. There are many loopholes that haven't been filled but it's OK for a one-time watch without watching the original English film.

Flawed and imperfect in every way UTTERLY DISSAPPPOINTING
14 February 2016
So I was just looking to watch a mystery thriller and saw this on the list and gave it a chance. There was nothing great about anything in this movie. The story was flawed (I have added 8 goofs to the page; feel free to add more i may have missed or correct me). The direction lacked attention to detail like the story. There are numerous twists here and there but they just serve to make you think that's not possible at all. There are holes everywhere you look. I'm crazy about crime, mysteries and so I know what I'm talking about. They hurried through everything recklessly and without thought. Music score was fine. Camera work was fine in most areas but editing was irregular.

Detective Conan (1996– )

Interesting plots but overly unrealistic most of the time
10 February 2016
Don't get me wrong i love the show and continued watching even after the English dub ended at episode 130. They are overly exaggerated and they assume that the common man has the intellect of a professional criminal. As for the main character, he is always suspicious of every single thing going on even if it would otherwise be irrelevant. For the sake of the story, he picks up clues from analyzing everyone even before anything even happens. As for the police, they listen to the kids and allow them near the dark and graphic crime scenes. He puts Detective Mouri to sleep so easily and nobody even notices conan missing or standing right next to him.

I have watched Detective School Q thrice and am going to watch it many more times again. Even though it was pitiful that it had to end at 45 episodes, I will just enjoy it forever. And detective Conan as of now is not keeping me as excited.
