On seeing the previews of the movie I was expecting a slick Asian action movie and I was right on one count that it was slick but not an action movie. I don't normally watch Asian films so I cant comment on certain elements that are so unlike a typical Hollywood movie, but the change was refreshing. Things like the fact that lead Kyung Ho is a closet homosexual and though it is a vital key to the whole plot , isn't really focused upon . Anybody who has seen the Usual Suspects can instantly identify key elements of that movie in this one. An apparent loser being questioned by the police. The cops being unwittingingly manipulated into hanging onto his every word and their instant reaction to his every utterance. A massive unveiling of the way that its just a big fib and how it was made..... A word of advice , leave your common sense at the door when watching this movie. There are enough plot holes to fill a crater. But when you think about it , its actually acceptable since it was a fib anyway and everything that he said , however implausible it may seem in real life, is okay and it was just the cops who were gullible enough to fall for it. Definitely different for the average Western viewers , an Asian movie without any martial arts or violence.

This is the first movie that I slept nearly all the way through. I swear its true. I had to watch the movie on the small screen again to see what I missed and I skipped through that as well. Okay Mission impossible 1 was mind blowing. It had an amazing story and the action was just as good. Mission Impossible 2 had even better , though even more unrealistic , action but not that great a story. Still it was worth watching. And now we have Mission Impossible 3 which I guess is supposed to show the more human side of Agent Hunt. Though the inital action was great, I started dozing off from the point where his girl friend gets kidnapped. To be frank I wasn't that keen on watching the movie when I saw the trailer which was lacklustre at best and not what I was expecting from a Mission Impossible. Yet I was willing to give the movie a shot and I was disappointed. There can be a hundred reasons why people could give me why the movie was great but the bottom line is that I didn't like it.

An overload of clichés

This movie would have been good if it wasn't so pathetic. After a brief introduction to a premise, the movie gets into full gear with a bunch of tried and tested (and by now irritating) onslaught of clichés. The ending turns out to be the now standard for all cliché movies, a complete twist or turn around. I mean you spend 70 mins of the movie watching something so predictable and in the very end you watch something that is a complete turnaround, which is illogical all so that some producer or director can say that the movie "is not cliché". It would have refreshing if this itself , ironically ,hadnt been turning into a cliché. Vaughn and Aniston do not share an on-screen chemistry and all they can achieve are bids to out do each other. As usual the trailer of the movie is very well done and gives the impression of a great movie but if all you wanted to see what was the best bits of the movie, just stick with the trailer. I would say this movie is recommended only for fans of Vaughn or Aniston who would rather get pleasure watching the actors rather the actual movie itself.

In the words of Eric Cartman this movie "sucked donkey b****". I mean seriously this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen and I have seen quite a few pathetic ones. DJ has the perfect dweeb look going on and its good but there is no way he can star in his own movie. To be fair this movie had a pretty fair intro but it lost itself within the first 15 mins of the movie.The movie tries to have elements of the best of all teen movies and instead ends up as a pile of s***.The comic situations look too weird (not weird funny, just weird).Crude sex jokes (not American pie style), illogical , incoherent situations make this one painful experience. Overall if you enjoy mind numbing experiences go for it. Else pass this one.
