Scorpion (2014)
Watched all of the episodes...
Yes, it's a bit young, and I'm definitely not, but once I got to know the characters, I actually enjoyed watching, and became fond of most of the people in the show. I was not disappointed with the last episode. I actually felt it was the only way to go. Martin was almost likeable but he never failed to disappoint, and he just never got it. He always made sure everyone knew he was the smartest, I. Q. wise, but it's like he lived in a vacuum, and he just never got it. The others were more human. I especially liked how Sebastian grew, and the Toby/Happy relationship was just fun. There were some good episodes, and some great cameos by great actors. BTW, I was rooting for Martin most of the time because I wanted him to evolve. I think he did, on some levels, which makes his behavior at the end unacceptable.
Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico (2023)
Extremely interesting and informative
First, I love Mexican food. This puts a whole new slant on what's available and what other cultures have influenced the food, especially in Mexico City. She covers various neighborhoods in the City, including a "farm to table" style offering. The restaurant serving fresh fish, which wasn't done in the past, was mouth watering. I'm looking forward to all of the episodes. Her appreciation for the culture, the food and the people is genuine and sincere. She even goes to a shelter for immigrants where they cook food from their home countries. Worth watching. Next episode is the Yucatan. I'm curious to see the differences in the various regions, who the people are, food variety, everything.
