Greta (2018)

Not great and not terrible

Started out slow. . I mean wearing a helmet, special bus , slow. I'll admit I was expecting a horror movie; but got an okay Thriller. Does require a pretty decent amount of suspended belief. Could have been and should have been better. If you do watch hang in there till the end. In all honesty watch or don't it is pretty run-of-the-mill. If you don't watch it, don't worry people won't be talkin about it, but if you do watch it, it is mildly enjoyable.

The Girl in the Spider's Web (2018)

Oh my goodness. . . This thing was SO boring. I have never been so glad to see a movie end. You already saw the best part of the movie if you seen the trailer. The set up as an avenging Force for abused women had nothing to do with the "plot" and little to nothing drove the story.

Take a nap instead your dream will be more entertaining

Robin Hood (2018)

This film is a mix of Fast and the furious on horses, ocean's eleven, and a revenge movie, and not in a good way but it isn't Robin Hood. turret gun that shoot arrows BOO. Automatic crossbows BOO. An automatic crossbow bolt can go through a wall but not a man's chest ok than.

They Shall Not Grow Old (II) (2018)

Wow ! I hope they make more from this old footage

It is definitely worth it. If you listen/ pay attention to the veterans stories you will understand alittle of what they dealt with one vet kinda sounds like winnie the pooh to me. One vet story hit me pretty hard when he talked about what haunted him still to this day. Some people are being overly critical of this movie complaining there's no sound track to that I say this is real footage from that time and life doesn't have a sound track. People are complaining how it was filmed to that I say seriously it was filmed in the EARLY 1900's don't be thick headed.

LISTEN if you come in expecting a modern day make believe war movie with sound tracks and cool special effects and great camera angles you are foolish and don't deserve to see this movie

The Prodigy (2019)

They did creepy well

I came into this movie with zero expectations because I didn't see any previews. But it was worth the watch. Sure they had jump scares, but what horror movie doesn't; however, with being said this wasn't just a horror movie it was also a psychological thriller. I was so on edge that someone in the theater sneezed and it gave me a jump scare. I wouldn't say it is a most watch but definitely a worth the watch.

Room (I) (2015)

This movie brought me to tears

Yes, that's right. This movie bored me to tears. I fully understand why she got an Academy reward for her role. Her inability to convey any emotion on her face was misconstrued as good acting; because being held captive for years doesn't call for a wide range of emotions. The Cinemagic that made this 2-hour movie seemed 6 hours long was amazing. I can't even phantom how they did that. All these 9 and 10 reviews is people feel obligated to give it to review the cost of the Academy Awards. They are lying to you. They are so many things left unexplored which is a shame. . . No wait, isn't or this movie would have been a month long. I get this is supposed to be some heartfelt and emotional movie to move you to tears for some cathartic moment but the sappy music that plays at every vaguely emotional scene ruins. I'd say steer clear and do yourself a favor don't watch this unless you need something to really bore you till you fall asleep.

Speed Kills (2018)

John Travolta's face is WEIRD

You could watch this movie on mute and it would be just as watchable. Ok, first things first it looks like john travolta is wearing a john travolta mask. The movie starts with white old Urkel wanting to buy a boat then it gets weird and not the good kind of weird you know what I'm talking about. This movie will make you laugh and not because it is funny but because it is so terrible.

Lincoln (2012)

Hollywood and it's agenda

My first and biggest complaint is why did they make Abraham Lincoln a democrat when everybody know he was a Republican. My second complaint is this move is bogged down with unnecessary dialogue. My 3rd complaint is the film should of been called the 13th Amendment because that's pretty much all it was about. Little to thing about Lincoln prior to trying to pass the 13th Amendment. 4th complaint the ending felt lazy. Really having him assassinated . . . Ok this is kind of a joke. But seriously the ending was a bit lazy and seemed poorly thought out. . . I would elaborate but I don't want to click the spoiler button.

Beowulf & Grendel (2005)

Hit or miss.

Even though the film was only an hour and 45 minutes long it felt longer. The scenery really makes me want to go to Iceland. I read this Epic poem in Humanities class. They did a good job cutting out a lot of side/needless info from the poem; but, the film just missed the mark.

The Gene Generation (2007)

not a bad movie or a good one

honestly I didn't give this movie my full attention. I'm not even sure who are the good guys or the bad guys.it lacks continuity it feels like the editor just randomly cut scenes out of the movie. it could've been better than it was but all in all when it's 3 or 4 in the morning and you can sleep give it a watch. I may be over rating it, but I really enjoyed the Asian lady as the lead. This would be a good movie for you and some friends to watch together for a few laughs and still be enjoyable. Hmm my review is to short. As I watched this movie I had questions, like: where is she going? is that Robert David Hall? who the heck is that snake person? what's with those weird mechanical fish like blimp things?
