Literally the worst thing I've ever seen

Where the hell does Rena think she can act and let alone direct a film?? This literally looked and felt like someone had a 1980's VHS camcorder on their shoulder and told someone to to say some lines for a school project.

Zero story. Terrible acting. Terrible Audio. It was laughable and embarrassing. How did a studio approve this?

I've done high school school projects that looked and s ounded better than this. Now I'm upset with myself for trying to sit through this for over two hours!!

The T & A was not worth it. Trust me.

I'm dumbfounded how this got through the editing process. Were they all just laughing on how stupid this was?

Turkey Bowl (2011)

Huh?

I honesty didn't know what I was watching. Was it a movie, or just a few cameras set up to record a two-handed touch game of football?

I kept waiting for something to happen. A fist fight, a health scare, a sudden rain storm... something.

Also, being a Turkey Bowl I figured it would take place around Thanksgiving. But there was zero reference to the holidays and even the weather showed a different story than being played in November.

Aside from some guys yelling at each other and making up and two attractive females, this was a boring movie and I'm surprised it's actually streaming. I would not recommend.

Kansas (1988)

Hoped/Expected much more.

From their earlier movies, these are two fine actors. I'll blame the writing and Directing, but this felt like a well made summer stock college movie.

McCarthy can't pull off the rugged drifter/lover part. And Dillons bad boyness was so much better in the Outsiders. The whole movie felt cheesy.

The very last scene made me laugh. He jumps off the train, thus choosing her, and they both smiled at each other. But then she drove what seemed like 3/4 of a mile to go get him. How did they see each others smile from that far?

And Matt's death scene was not climatic at all. From the gunshots to his chest and bloody face, I expected more moaning and agony.

I asked myself if these two really loved the script or just wanted an acting gig.

Significant Other (2022)

Was so bad it was laughable

Being from the northwest and loving the outdoors I thought I'd give this movie a try.

Unfortunately this movie far from delivered a good/thrilling story. It mixed sci-fi and the forest.

It even had Terminator 2 elements. I laughed it was so bad. Looked like a high budget summer stock production.

The acting was repulsive. The writing was worse.

I truly think this is the worst movie I have ever seen. Unfortunately once I was halfway through i figured I needed to see how this trash ended.

After turning it off I am still confused. Not only about the movie, but how a company could find the budget to support this film.

The Lost City (2022)

It's tried hard... but missed.

Kind of a combo between Romancing the Stone, The Goonies, and Joe vs The Volcano.

Silly humor at times. Mostly corny. Glad I streamed this on Paramount + vs paying $12.50 at the theater.

The Invisible Man (I) (2020)

Very disappointed

This movie is a mixture of Predator meets Ghost meets Paranormal Activity.

It's just kind of corny.

Unforgettable (II) (2017)

Quickly unforgettable

I won't go into long detail about the plot or the lack of building of the characters, but this was truly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Katherine Heigl said she watched Glenn Close in 'Fatal Attraction' to get motivation for her character. It wasn't even close.

Please don't waste two hours of your life with this. It's almost laughable it's so bad.

Ride (I) (2014)

(possible SPOILER ALERT)...Interesting movie. Tough to watch on a few levels

I'm still not sure how much I enjoyed this movie.

The constant arguing of the mom and son got old. The way he kept referring to her by her first name began to annoy me. Each and every phone conversation was arguments!! She should have got into his face and insisted on respect. Instead, she just accepted it, tacked it up to her failure and more pain.

I recently scattered my folks ashes off the shores of Hawaii. That was tough (emotionally speaking) scene to watch. Brought back memories.

I have an 18 year old son, myself, who recently left the nest. Her emotions of her son moving away rang home. Although I have done a better job than her so far and have let him go.

At the end, when she tells him she is staying in LA, and the he tells her he's going back to New York, was she thinking "really?? I was staying here to be in the same city as you!!"

It was an OK movie. I actually enjoyed Luke Wilson the most in this movie. The Limo driver was enjoyable too.

Oh, and I think Helen Hunt is not aging very well at all!!'

Wet Hot American Summer (2001)

Almost Unwatchable

I would HIGHLY recommend watching the making of this movie "Hurricane of Fun", before actually watching this movie.

I am not an SNL fan. I simply don't get their jokes. The actors in this movie are incredibly talented, but the writing is... simply... awful. I don't think I laughed out loud once.

It's just corny and crude humor. Just not my style. Perhaps to others.

However, due to the fact that I watched "Hurricane of fun" (the making of) before watching this, I was able to see scenes they were talking about in a different light.

If this is supposed to be a current day "Meatballs" or "Caddyshack", they highly missed the mark.

Sex Tape (2014)

More stupid than silly

I get the idea. Let's try to be a silly, sexy couple caught in a really bad predicament. It didn't work. I think the acting was fine. The writing was not.

The whole dog chase was waaaay to long. The arguments and threats by the kid were waaaay to long.

There was more running around and being panicked than there was dialog or substance to this movie.

They say there was full frontal nudity by Candice. I didn't see it. Perhaps I blinked too long.

I paid $6.99 on Dish Demand. Should have been free.
