Keep Breathing (2022)

It's slow but, damn...it hit home.

A friend recommended this and after the 2nd episode, I was over it. Two days later, I decided to finish the limited series. I'm glad I did! The main character was very relatable for me. She didn't find what she was looking for until she let go and flowed. Healing, understanding, a shift in perspective, etc. Were all necessary to survive and live. Haha! I just realized her name is Liv. If you are lead to watch it, give it a chance. You might get more out of it than you expected.

As I write this, I'm starting episode 2. Watch the show, get a therapist, and buy stock in Kleenex. This show is about you and your truth that has now manifested into Autistim. Watch the story and start seeing them the way you should be seeing yourself. As We See It shows us how people with no filter who just wanna BE themselves have to change to fit the society that has labeled them as defected. Like I said, watch the show, get a therapist, and buy stock in Kleenex.

I really liked it! This is all a puppet show or a movie and each of of have a starring role in our own feature! There are angels and guardians to protect us and we are all here to live and let live. This movie is a creative way at looking at way the angels, guardians, celestial beings do their jobs in order for the whole of consciousness and creation to fulfill the big picture.

At least that's what I say while watching.

Wake up your emotional side! This is the best couples moving on together after a tragedy movie I've ever seen. I didn't know I needed to see this movie until I saw it. No matter who you are, watch this movie. It hits on various emotional levels and I loved it. I cried so much. It's a healing story of a journey.

Cinderella (I) (2021)

I was judging this movie by its cover and I was truly hating on it. Ever After was/is my favorite version of Cinderella but, THIS ONE IS EVERYDAY, MODERN DAY!

I love 90% of this movie!! It was funny, fun, relatable, and honest!

Do what YOU want! Follow your instincts! Be true to YOU! That's the message of this movie! It's come a LONG way from the Grimm fairytale and laughs in the face of Disney. This is the version of Cinderella (along with Ever After) that encourages the underdog to pull herself up and rise! Within being true to herself she gets EVERYTHING she desires!

This movie wasn't all about Ella either. It shined a light on each main character and made them so relatable! I saw myself, my parents and their fears, my grandparents and their traditions, and the brokenness of society, governments, real feminism, LOVE, growth, being the change you want to see.

THE FAIRY GODMUVA WAS LIFE!! PERIOD! That's a new millennium godmother bringing you The Elements of Earth, Wind, and Fire through a butterfly to remind you of who you are, Shining Star!! YES!! I love this version! Bravo!!

The voices! The dancing! The colors! The costumes!

Oh, and thank you for making the stepsisters pretty chill. You could even see how they wanted more but, were scared and swayed from following their hearts.

Honestly, give this movie a chance with an OPEN heart and mind. It's a Cinderella for today.

I'm a sucker for a movie based on true events most of the time. This movie didn't disappoint. It makes you think about you and what you are doing with your life right now. Are you happy? Are you living your best life or trying to live in the past? I appreciate this movie and the live that it shared.

Jennifer Garner's been kicking ass for years and never disappoints in any movie (or show) that I've seen her in! This was a really good action movie! True purpose and determination from her character! I had read reviews from critics that said it was bad. Maybe they were paid off by the drug dealers in this film as well because this was NOT a disappointment. Jennifer can do it all!

Infinite (2021)

Clouds Atlas meets Matrix.

If you are a "woo woo" person and believe in reincarnation, this is a good action movie for you. If you know about Dolores Cannon or Joan Grant or any people that have written about their past lives, this is the first movie I've seen that puts it in action form. Cloud Atlas was the best. The Matrix isn't like this at all. That pretty much explains how the world is an illusion. This movie speaks on how our spirit keeps coming back to accomplish something.

I thought it was good. Not much character development to engage you or get you invested. The story makes perfect sense though.

This is a very different movie! I mean...I'm writing my will NOW! I'm gonna have a million children, too! At least there's a happy ending.

Now that my emotions are set aside, this was a good movie. Great cast and very unique storyline. I pray that I never meet a woman like Marla in my life. Whoa!

Sedona (2011)

Brilliantly done!

A round of applause for the writer, director, cast, and crew that put together this masterpiece! Beautifully crafted! I've never been to Sedona but, have been longing to go recently. When I came across this movie on Gaia, I had to watch. Life is often perfectly woven together just like this. Once we relax, learn to flow, stay present and be happy, we learn better and notice the synchronicities. You attract what you focus on. Take it easy and let life happen for you, not to you. Bravo! Bravo!

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

The first (probably only) 4 hour movie I've watched that is engaging and beautiful all the way through! I was a Marvel girl until this movie! Applause to you Mr. Synder. I loved the inspirational messages throughout as well!

A man defined his parents, fell in love and married a beautiful woman with whom he had 3 intelligent, strong, empowering daughters who protected his kingdom when he discovered that he was drugged and raped many years before, producing a male heir to him throne. He goes to fine this child to save his kingdom. Of course, nothing goes as planned as he realizes that he has become his father and forgotten himself. To be true to yourself! He denied his most faithful eldest daughter because of an outdated tradition by trying to replace her with a child who knew nothing of the people, culture, or traditions of the land. He disrespected himself and all of his family due to fear. In the end, he saw himself in his son when he threw it all away for love. Like father, like son. I'm not sure what people were expecting. This was a great sequel. There were a few rough areas that are easily overlooked. The cast was GREAT! All of the original cast returned and the new additions were wonderful! WARDROBE DEPARTMENT DID THEIR THANG!!! I can't leave out the dancing! This movie was full of love and expression. A great example about how women are smart, strong, and brave yet often overlooked. A great example of a man learning who he is, tapping into his emotional side to combine it with his mental THEN, making a decision. An example of how Black people are treated in the work place, among each other, and how we have feelings, too! Get rid of your expectations and WATCH THE MOVIE. This is not a remake, it is a sequel. (They even joke about that in the film). Pay attention to the message.

Fun! Smart! Very entertaining! It's past the time for politics AND media to improve. This was a great comedic depiction of politicians and the backwards, outdated system called the government.

I remember watching this movie as a child and I enjoyed it. It stayed with me. I just watched it again after 20 years. Wow! Such a moving film! Great acting all around and a very interesting storyline. Brings me to tears every time.

Crazy! I liked it and I'm saddened by it. Great job by all of the cast. I'm blown by the creativity and by Denzel's character. This movie shows how a case can eat away at your soul and turn you into someone you never thought you'd be. Make you do things you never thought you'd do. This movie was tough...someone being harassed because of their appearance, shot first, questions later, and toying with the cops. Damn!

YES!!! A powerful and great film! As a single mother, I saw myself in Sandra. This story spoke volumes about abuse through the generations and the power within to be the end to the curse. The system needs to be amended tremendously. Bravo to The Village! Bravo to the creator, writer, cast and crew! Thank you for telling the story of a mother who will fight!

Warrior: Enter the Dragon (2020) Season 2, Episode 9

Born and raised on the East Coast. Yesterday was Martin Luther King Day. Today, I watch this episode and cried. "Warrior" is GREAT entertainment, don't get me wrong. I'm loving the show! I also feel the pain of the history. Maybe I feel it because it's history is not too different from my own ancestors. This WAS America. Unfortunately, it STILL is. I have Irish and Vietnamese friends. Both of which moved to America within the pass 10 years. I'm pleased that nowadays it's okay for us all to hangout and fellowship together in California without these issues. But, for how long before history repeats itself.

Locked Down (I) (2021)

I found this movie to be empty. That's the only world I could think of to describe it. This was an odd couple or maybe the quarantine may them crazy. They never finished an argument, each character had some underlying issue that was never fully revealed, and what the heck with the ending?! I wanted to love this movie due to the main characters. It just was really, really empty...missing a few beats...maybe it was the comedy, or lack thereof. I don't know. The best part, in my opinion was Anne's explanation of her thoughts about the company she worked for and not reading the letter from her boss to the employees she had to fire.

No Men Beyond This Point (2015)

This was brilliantly done! Bravo to the creators of this project! Perfect! Funny! Thoughtful! You all covered everything in this film! My grandmother became a widow when I was in my teens but, even before that, she was working full time, caring for the house, fixing things, and more. Her younger nephews or men in the neighborhood couldn't be bothered to check in or offer a hand. She said a few times, what good are men? Who needs them? This movie was an accurate depiction of what women have said for AGES! I'm about 25% glad it's just a movie. LOL!!

Mulan (2020)

A NEW CENTURY BRINGS AN EVEN STRONGER MULAN!!

First, get the animation out of your head! I love the animation just as much as the next one but, this VERSION of her story helps to shape our women and young girls. It's a great tribute to anyone who is trying to be true to themselves while hearing naysayers tell them they can not. I absolutely loved how the story was told! I'm trying not to give spoilers. Just give it a chance and put yourself in Mulan's position.

Nobody's Fool (2018)

I really admire Tyler Perry. "The Family That Preys" will probably always be my favorite of his work. Unfortunately, "Nobody's Fool" was lacking a lot of love and structure. A good cast but, not great acting. No true emotion or character development. I felt nothing for the characters or their journey.
