Limitless (2015–2016)
10/10
Remarkable, exciting and funny.
4 November 2015
Limitless is a show based on a movie of the same name. They both live in the same universe in which a pill called NZT-48 unlocks the full potential of a subjects mind. This show manages to make interesting characters and plots, without losing the main idea of the show. The best part about this show, has to be the protagonist, Bryan Finch, played by Jake McDorman. The protagonist has a way of looking at things and portraying them to the audience that gives us some comedy relief that the movie didn't really have. That's also one of the strongest parts of the series, the comedy. I didn't really think this series was going to make me laugh or smile at how the character looks at things. And to make the series even better, they made an episode that was a total homage to Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

This is a truly remarkable series that will, if it continues this way, become a fan favorite over the years. Must watch for anyone who likes crime TV shows and comedy, this show blends them perfectly, making it one of the best TV shows on air right now.

Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2023)
8/10
Solid idea with a good plot but pacing problems.
5 October 2015
The show opens with the whole idea of "normal life", but since it has The Walking Dead in the title, we know that won't be for long. We're introduced to our main characters, only one of them is truly interesting and you want to see him survive, but the rest of the family is okay. I didn't fall in love with them until the end of the season in which I really felt invested about the characters that joined in. It's a good show with all of its characterization, but the problem here is the pacing. It sometimes happens to be super intriguing and fast, playing more like The Walking Dead, but then you get super long boring scenes that aren't interesting. Still, it's not a bad show, it's quite enjoyable. In my opinion, one of the things that really pushes the TV show is the music. It's not only scary, but it gives the TV show a mysterious tone which makes me want to keep watching the TV show. Finally, the last problem is the fact that us viewers know that things will go wrong, because we know how the walkers function in the TV show, although that only applies to the people who've watched The Walking Dead.

I recommend this TV show if you're a fan of The Walking Dead, suspenseful and carefully paced shows.

Sicario (2015)
9/10
It Captivates You With Everything.
25 September 2015
Sicario, a film directed by Denis Villeneuve, starring Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin.

First of all let me start by saying that Villeneuve is an amazing director, he made Prisoners and Enemy. Two extremely well done films, perfect I might even say. Both of them had beautiful cinematography, music and tone, followed by some amazing performances. And this film, is the same as both of Villeneuve's last one.

Everything in this film works so well and it makes you wonder why Emily Blunt hasn't won an Oscar. Her performance is great in this film, showing the human side of the story, and not only that, but she also represents the audience. When something gross happens, she's grossed out and so are we.

For me, the best part of this film is the music and the cinematography and how the blended together, making the perfect tone of the film. Every shot in this film is beautiful and with the music by its side, it puts you inside the movie, making you feel like if you were in Mexico, next to Blunt and Del Toro.

I really recommend you to see this film, you'll enjoy it, especially if you like Villeneuve's previous work.
