Under the Bridge: Beautiful British Columbia (2024)
I don't feel bad for Reena anymore.
It's hard to feel bad for Reena anymore. She's an awful person pathetically desperate to be liked by terrible girls. What she's doing to her family is disgusting. I can't wait to watch her die in the finale. People like her get exactly what they deserve. Her father is the kindest and most caring man I've seen on TV and she cut his heart out. Yes he's naive and the mother sees what's happening but they are trying very hard to help their ungrateful brat of a child. Reena is delusional to think that Josephine and Kelly are her friends. They're using her and it's clear as day. People like Reena are just evil and deserve their fate. That's the truth and there's nothing else to say about it.
The Outsider (2020)
Characters are good but the story drags.
The characters are good but the story drags. I enjoyed the characters a lot; especially the defense attorney who's played by the great Bill Camp who was also in The Sound of Freedom. Holly Gibney, played by Cynthia Ervino also played the odd and brilliant PI. She was a likable character too. The scenery was excellent and so was the cinematography. The problem I had was having these stores link together properly. It just didn't work for me. The episodes were too long and drawn out and could not hold my attention. This series would have been better if it were five episodes. Like I said before, all of the characters were excellent but the story didn't grab me and the ending was bad.
Thank you for reading.
Succession: Celebration (2018)
The Asian "dude" is the only likeable character.
Roman is a moron and acts like a toddler. Shiv is an idiot and resembles Clare from Six Feet Under too much, and Kendall is such a cliche as the hard working disappointment to his father boss of the company. The dialogue is awful, the plot stinks, and the characters are incredibly unlikeable. I'll watch the second episode because the pilot may have just been a total bust. Just because this show is on HBO and foil language is permitted doesn't mean every other sentence has to be disgusting. It shows lack of creativity in writing. This show really lacks substance and I'm not expecting anything better front the second episode of this season.
Person of Interest: Beta (2014)
"Keep yourself alive Harold. We'll be coming for you."
"She is all that matters." Harold Finch. I wish I loved somebody that much. I always believed Finch was the best character of the series and this episode confirmed it. His selfless love for Grace is quite compelling. What's incredible is how Greer believes that if he is nice to Harold by blindfolding Grace during the exchange for Harold to keep Grace into thinking Harold into believing that he is still indeed dead, Harold will fall into Greer's good graces. Harold is much to smart for that. Harold will win. It's too bad that Harold would not let Reese and Shaw kill that congressman last episode then none of this would have happened. This show is incredible.
And Just Like That...: February 14th (2023)
We finally have an episode that feels like the original series.
The episode was great. The writers finally gave us an episode that resembled the original series with the exception of Charlotte's storyline. Miranda's and Carrie's stories were excellent. Speaking from someone that is 45 years old and a rabid fan of the original series, this episode was funny with Miranda's date, and emotional with Carrie's re-connection with Aiden. Aiden refusing to go up to Carrie's apartment because of the pain of the breakup was very realistic for a man that remembers now bad it felt to end an engagement. I loved Carrie's response by acknowledging his feelings and validating them. Miranda's date was also something I've experienced; meeting someone and thinking they're a perfect match and then getting overly excited and dressing up only ti get disappointed right away. I'm excited to where the characters end up at the end of the season. I'm hoping Miranda and Steve reconcile. I really like the three new ladies on the show and detest what they've done with Charlotte. She's annoying, her kids are awful and entitled, and she tries to hard to be the perfect parent. I hope things get better now that she is going back to work. Harry is great and so is Anthony. He is still funny and ridiculously over the top. The only one missing is Samantha; the best character of the series which we all know will return in the finale.
This Is Us: Us (2022)
Simple. Beautiful. Wonderful. Nothing left for interpretation.
This series finale was incredible and beautiful. There was nothing left for interpretation. It was simple and great. There's nothing else to say but goodbye to the Pearsons and everyone connected to Jack, Rebecca, and The Big Three.
This Is Us: The Train (2022)
Everything ends.... Everything Dies
......I'm speechless. I don't even know what else to say..... Bravo to the writers and their attention to every detail of this fabulous episode.
"If something is so sad when it ends, it must have been so wonderful...." William Hill (I'm paraphrasing....)
This Is Us: Family Meeting (2022)
"This is why there is three of us!"
Kevin Pearson delivers again. Is it possible to not cry this season? The answer is no. The show always comes together with 5 minutes left and this week was no exception.
I am so glad Kevin built that house or should I say; that compound!!!!
This Is Us: Miguel (2022)
Now we know all about Miguel.
What a Beautiful story of a beloved character. I adore Miguel and Rebecca's love story. Kevin really has grown so much as a man and has stepped up and done so much for this amazing family. These writers are incredible. I love them.
This Is Us: The Night Before the Wedding (2022)
KEVIN KEVIN OH MY KEVIN! Another fabulous episode from season 6.
These writers are the best in the business. Kevin has always been my favorite character in the story is just remarkable Kevin has finally grown up and and seen what he was supposed to. With the help of his brother Randall and his long speech about the Buffalo Bills losing four Super Bowls and what they do with the printing of the loser T-shirts; Kevin sees that he can't keep going backwards. Rebecca's Alzheimer's actually benefited the situation with helping Sophie see how much Kevin has grown. They were 20 when they got married which is way too young. Sophie's been married again. They both love each other and they've both grown. They have evolved and their love story is beautiful and rare. The sorry behind her dress was also amazing. I love them together !!!
Anatomy of a Scandal: Episode #1.4 (2022)
The minute James said "I don't care about Holly.."
The minute James said the didn't care about Holly, I knew something was up. If he was innocent, he would have understood that standing by his wife would have been being there for her and putting the closure together for her and Holly whom was her friend and acquaintance of his even though he may not of remembered her. He was trying to make her feel bad for taking the day off from court. What a manipulative bastard.
This Is Us: Katoby (2022)
This is a great ending to the Toby and Kate story.
This is how I predicted that they would end but my jaw hit the floor at the last 10 seconds of the episode. Seeing Kate and Philip with Toby and his new wife in the future with Jack singing as an adult at his concert was amazing. When Kate said "this is not the end of a story because we're getting divorced" was incredible. I love Kate and Philip together and I love Philip's story about his ex-wife. I adored the birthday parties with Kate and Philip with Toby and the family. This is the way it supposed to be. This was my favorite episode this season so far. Bravo to the writers. They are exceptional. I was never team Kate or team Toby. I'm so glad that they ended their marriage and Kate was able to be strong.
Ray Donovan: The Kalamazoo (2015)
Great premiere with another great ending.
This was a great episode where we see how Ray has struggled with turning on the only person he was ever loyal to, Ezra. The ending was absolutely beautiful. Liev has such immense talent in showing us the emotions of Ray. We also meet new characters like Andrew Finney who is just Amazing. Great episode and I love DOG!
Ray Donovan: Yo Soy Capitan (2014)
That was El Negro. This one is El Blanco.
This was another terrific episode of a great season of a fantastic series. The writing is incredible and the music goes perfectly with the ending. Hank Azaria is just brilliant. Frank Barnes is such a slimy bastard. He is such a brilliant character. I can watch this show 500 times and love it more each time.
This Is Us: Don't Let Me Keep You (2022)
Jack Pearson never disappoints.
I felt like we were back in the first or second season of the show. This was a great episode and Milo delivered an exceptional performance like always. I cried my eyes out. I loved learning about his mother and her new life with her boyfriend. This episode was so well written and I enjoyed the characters. Bravo!!
Ray Donovan: Horses (2017)
Ray is just so traumatized.
Good grief. This man is the definition of a traumatized man. What a terrifying episode. Liev is just a tremendous actor all around. The story was amazing. Abby is so brave.
Ray Donovan: The Movie (2022)
Thank you for the closure. Bravo. Best series finale ever. Beats sopranos, Dexter, and the rest.
This movie was perfect for the die hard fans like myself. It was dark, real, and remarkable. Ray Donovan is my favorite series of all time. I've watched it weekly when it was on and ten times on stream. This ending was absolutely incredible. The movie wasn't even a movie. It was a long episode with all the attention to detail from the entire series. The back and forth from present to teenage Ray times was excellent. Young Ray's character is so much like Liev's character that it's frightening. Terry's Parkinson's has worsened but he is at least happy, Darryl has to flee and it's heartbreaking. Bunchy has his second chance, and Bridget is just Bridget. Ray got his peace and so did Terry and Bunchy. I just feel sorry for Darryl and Bridget. Mickey and Ray ended with their smiles and that's what we all wanted;
that is, the real DONOFANS!
This Is Us: One Giant Leap (2022)
Great episode. Go Nicky go!
I'm so happy Nicky got his happy ending. He deserves it. How unexpected was this?! This show always makes me cry. I love how Miguel and Rebecca love each other so much. It's just beautiful.
Ray Donovan: All Must Be Loved (2015)
"I'm the sinner? You protect these men than should be dead or in prison and I'm the sinner?"
Liev is one outstanding actor. His emotions are intense and hit right though your heart and soul. "What'd your church ever do for my sister; and my mother?...."
I love this show!
Ray Donovan: Little Bill Primm's Big Green Horseshoe (2016)
Hold it. The next man makes a move and the ****** gets it.
The best part of this episode was when Darryl and Terry were waiting for the Russians with guns in hand and quoting blazing saddles.the chemistry of this cast is amazing.
Ray Donovan: Walk This Way (2014)
Happy Birthday Con! One of my favorite episodes of the series.
All the Donovan men are screwed up in the head because of Mickey but Ray is the most sick. He loves and helps everyone but himself. It's sad.
The Donovan Brothers are amazing and love their family so much no matter how dysfunctional they all are.
Fear Street: 1994 (2021)
The best part of this was the soundtrack.
I'm 44 and loved the soundtrack and all the little nooks and crannies of the early to kid 90s!
The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
A masterpiece where Anthony Hopkins was only on screen for 16 minutes.
I'm 44 years old Which means I saw this movie for the first time when I was 14. It is my second favorite movie of all time next to The Godfather. I still catch little details that I've missed over the hundreds of times I've seen this remarkable movie. They don't make them like this anymore. This movie still scares the lights out of me. Everyone in this movie was amazing. The scene where Buffalo Bill is talking to the girl in the well and she replies that she wants to see her mommy; he bit his lip so he wouldn't cry. That wasn't in the script. They were friends and he said it felt so real when she was begging for her life. Another piece of trivia is during the line; "I ate his liver with a side of fave beans and nice Chianti, and he makes that sound with his tongue...." -not in the script either.
I can go on forever. This movie is timeless.
Coming 2 America (2021)
Not even worth the time to watch a FREE MOVIE.
Shame on everyone involved in this disaster. I gave it 1 star because the barber shop dudes were funny. That's it. This movie sucked.
A Million Little Things: Justice: Part 2 (2021)
Gary is the best ever. I've always loved him.
I can relate to Gary. If anyone hurts the ones I love, you're in trouble. He gave it to Delilah good. I can't stand her. She needs to move to France and lose her passport.
