I was a huge fan of the books, and to say that this was disappointing is a huge understatement. The storyline wasn't as good as the books, they never established the Wolfman as an important character, I don't ever remember a monkey girl, Mr. Tiny doesn't appear until after Darren joins the Cirque, Darren doesn't learn about the Vampaneze until about a year after he becomes a vampire, Steve actually becomes a vampaneze in his mid to late 20's, and they only accepted Steve because when he stepped into the flaming coffin he came out unburnt meaning he was their true leader and their chosen one. Also, Darren's family never finds out that he's a vampire, but his sister does find out about 15 years after. It's also supposed to be set in England, and Darren's supposed to be 12 years old. Even the acting was bad. Terrible movie, just read the books.
