Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Not a 10/10, but neither a 1/10

This movie is not 10 out of 10, but neither 1 out of 10. It has so many flaws, but not as bad as some critics stated. The biggest problem about the movie is the editing. Bad directing still can be saved with good editing. Movie editor is as important as the director, I think. You can feel that the scenes keep jumping back and forth, and sometimes a bit out of place.

They're really pushing the importance of Lois Lane's character in the movie. It's probably because Amy Adams is expensive, so they want to show her as much as they could.

I love Jesse Eisenberg. In fact he is one of my favorite actor, but boy, is he bad here. His portrayal as Lex Luthor is weird and Joker-y.

Personally, I think the movie contains too much cgi, especially that last fight. It's like watching the amazing spiderman 2 all over again.

Now the good thing: Surprise surprise, turns out Ben Affleck is a good Bruce Wayne, and Gal Gadot (pronounced Gol Gédo) looks good as wonder woman, though her posture is still a little too small. I'm interested to see her upcoming movie.

Hans Zimmer did a great job at scoring the music. One of the best thing about the movie is the music score.

Overall the movie is still enjoyable, though a bit boring in the first hour, it's still bearable. My mom, as a casual viewer, said that she liked it. This movie could be much better had they hired a good editor.

Superman for sure uses a lot of hair pomade, because his hair shine bright like a diamond, even in the dark. And even flying with that kind of speed, his hair somehow stay firm.

Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)

This is so bad, that the word bad is not strong enough to describe it.

I always knew that Transformers is that kind of movie which you watch just to get entertained by the robots and the fights. The previous 3 movies, which even not that good, they are still quite entertaining. But not with this one. Bay somehow can even make the not-that-good movie got worse. The duration was too long. The first 15 minutes was such a waste of my time. You can skip it, and will still understand the story. The hot dude typical cast is completely unnecessary in this one. Without him, the film will be just the same. The girl who played the hot chick, somehow can make Megan fox's acting deserves an Oscar. Yeah, it's that awful. Oh and Mark Wahlberg, such a waste of talent. I feel sorry for him.

So, even if you got much idle time and have no more movies to watch, and this is the only one you got left, consider it again, maybe go cleaning your room is worth your time more.

And yet the worst part is that there will be more sequel coming up. Ugh

Divergent (2014)

This is so bad, that I'm confused about what the word to use to explain how bad it is.

I have known about the books for quite a long time, my friend recommended them to me. So I finally read the book a day before the movie come out to theater. I gotta admit that the books are awesome, the story is intriguing. And I cant wait to watch the movie. And then I went to theater to watch the movie. From the beginning, I have doubt about the cast. Based on the book, Tris' body should not be that big. And after the movie played, everything was falling into ashes. The casts are awful. I expect that peter would be someone who have an arrogant face, but instead.. Jainine, Kate winslet is an awful choice. Jainine should be played by Charlize Teron, or someone who have a typical face like that. And I felt that the casts are lack of chemistry. The story. Yeah I get it that it's impossible for a based-on-book-movie to have exactly same story like the book. I didn't expect that it would be this different. They ruined the whole story. Everything is changed. Its like I was watching a different movie with the same title. I came with some expectation that the movie wouldn't be as good as the book, because it always happened, but I shocked that they could for god's sake made it that awful. They have changed an awesome story into pile of crap.

Thor: The Dark World (2013)

The story is great, the casts are wonderful, and the movie is pretty funny

For me, between the avengers super heroes, Thor is the least interesting than the others. I think that the first thor movie is not that great, so I came to the theater with no high expectation. But this movie is actually awesome. The story is great, the duration's not too long, nor too short, it's enough. The casts are great. Chris played thor well. He showed the emotion, but still can keep his arrogance. The effect is amazing. I watched it in 2D (because for me, 3D just ruin the story), but I can still feel the effect. There are some little joke that actually made this movie better. The audiences cant stop laughing during the movie. So for conclusion, this movie is great, I think its better than the previous one.

After Earth (2013)

My expectation is so low, yet I'm still disappointed.

I've just been recently watched this movie. I know about the bad reviews, so I set my expectation so looow, and yet I'm still speechless about how bad it is. There're so many goofs, like they said that the earth is uninhabitable, which they cant breath directly from its air, but when they showed the scenery, it's so beautiful and green. And one that I think the worst is Will's acting. I get it that in the story, he had to become a tough father, but he's sooo expressionless that I want to squeeze his face, like come on, you don't have to be expressionless to make a tough father impression. If you have nothing to do, and no more movie to watch (like me), then you can watch this movie.
