Fantastic script, the direction - perfectly executed! Also all the actors - superbly acting! And so different from their usual Hollywood stereotypes! That means such originality nowadays! Kudos to everyone involved!

Amazed!

I had really been surprised. This film includes modern notion of the old classic. Even mor actor Johnny Flynn is not only an excellent actor, but also author and singer of some of these wonderful songs! Kudos! All those who say it's slow or dull. We live in such fast world that we forget that there were times when letters came after weeks. To see your relatives took almost never when one married just some miles away... Enjoy the slow!

It is a beautiful story!

From frightful beginning and wrong assumptions comes the story like no other one told about Dracula. Whatever the stories, legends, films and Bram Stoker's book, this is entirely different sort of the same.

You are so wrong!

If you think that this is a film about upper class splendor, it's just a small portion of it! Yes, there are fabulous dresses and dinners. However it is much more. The issues of homosexuality at that period of time, interpersonal issues like honour and duty. What comes first? Is it really worth sacrifice? All in all, don't underestimate this film and what it is really about.

A not so little gem along the others!

My first comment is among these days when films are fast & supposed to be exciting this film is slow with subtle words and actions. It is so rare to witness that. I should recommend watching more films like this one. Not to mention the performance of the actors who give this feeling. I don't about the crew or producers, but the director Paolo Sorrentino had nailed it - all of it!

Simply 1 star for it is impossible to have rating 0, and for the guys and girls who did the special effects!

Fresh TV show about M.D.s

I was delightfully surprised by the freshness of the old - how hospital, doctors, nurses and staff act, talk, treat their patients and other people, and struggle with themselves.

The new look of the the old.

I really appreciated the new film. It focuses more on the era (and now as well) issues - political, social, religious and personal. The choice of the actors are very good. I hope that there will be a next film (or several ones).
