Naruto (2002–2007)
How Depressing
19 November 2005
I suppose I'm watching the first episode but it looks pretty depressing.

That's all. You still here? :P

I mean it looks really... Really... Really...

Depressing... Not that I don't like it, just the events that happened. And that darn rule of 10 Lines minimum is getting annoying because I can't post anything short. Well that's all I have to say about Naruto. I like the show but it's a little cruel. The writers of this show sure don't hold back.

That's all.

Interesting...
27 January 2005
Warning: Spoilers
There are so many interesting things about Star Ocean: Till the End of Time that it's rather hard to start at one specific point when writing a Review.

You'll start on Hyda IV with the unusual character name of Fayt Leingod. The name may sound somewhat unique, but his characteristics and personality are equivalent to your every day Star Trek Alien -- They all look the same. Don't get me wrong, I'm not speaking badly about Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time. It has an amazing story with fantastic dialogue and beautifully rendered cut scenes.

Battles are similar to what you would experience in Final Fantasy. You'll fight your enemies on a Battle Field where everything seems to have been thrown in your favour.

You'll be able to attack with HP Attacks or MP Attacks. There's actually several Boss Battles in Star Ocean 3 which can be won in a matter of seconds.

Though the storyline is amazing, there are certain areas of the game where you will spend a lot of time backtracking, such as the Urssa Lava Caves. You'll spend an hour or more getting from the Mountain Path to the Urssa Lava Caves with nothing to your name except the items which are equipped. After which, everything which you have done in the past hour will have all been for nothing but a pounding headache when you have to backtrack way back to Airyglyph, then back to the Urssa Lava Caves for the one item which you couldn't obtain. This can take about thirty minutes for the experienced gamer.

Aside from this there is an amazing story with a wonderful twist which doesn't seem to quite fit the storyline, but still makes everything well worth the money.

Resident Evil 4 (2005 Video Game)
Excellent!
15 January 2005
After thoroughly playing through Resident Evil 4, I still think that Resident Evil 4 is one of the best from of the Resident Evil series. It's nice to see Capcom taking a step away from the regular zombies which they regularly use.

You play as Leon S. Kennedy. You'll probably recognize the name from Resident Evil 2. Your assignment is to rescue the daughter of the President of the United States. After which, Leon travels to Spain to search for Ashley. The odds of success are strictly stacked against Leon.

You'll encounter many scenarios similar to the Resident Evil series, including the infamous "Avoid the Lasers" from Resident Evil the Movie. You'll have to get through several puzzles, dodging several obstacles and events within the cut scenes to avoid a gruesome death.

There's more to this game than just shooting enemies, there is a fantastic storyline to this game, but I wouldn't recommend it to younger audiences.

Baten Kaitos is Great!
11 December 2004
Baten Kaitos is a wonderful game full of twists and turns which will leave you wanting more. It's developed and produced by the same two companies that brought you Xenosaga Episode I and II. There are plenty of cutscenes but only one FMV. This is at the beginning of Baten Kaitos. The story is incredible, but the Voice Acting isn't too good. Monolith could have chosen a much better Cast or Director for Baten Kaitos.

Baten Kaitos is an RPG, where the battles are played through Card. Don't get me wrong, this is nothing like Yu-Gi-Oh, or Pokemon. This has all the elements and RPG should have and does not get repetitive. The story continues and there is very little backtracking. You use the Magnus Cards to select how your turn is to be played.

The battles can be somewhat tedious at times. They can become quite challenging. However, if you lose in a Boss Fight, you do not return to a Save Point, but can select whether you would like to try the Boss Fight again. This saves the work of having to go from a Save Point, through the same cutscene again, to the battle.

My Rating: 7/10

The Simpsons (1989– )
Good for Anyone of Any Age!
19 June 2004
The simpsons, by far, has become one of the best television shows of all-time. Not only does it resemble most household American families, but all families around the world. Unlike most cartoons, this isn't one of those off-the-wall shows, defying laws of physics and breaking through temporal barriers. Matt Groening has done a wonderful job of capturing the typical life of a modern family, and turning them into normal people like you, and me.

The show has had it's moments, while others could be simply thrown away and fed to the dogs. These are the episodes you may only want to see once. There are some very well written and directed episodes, which goes to show you, that even after fifteen years of The Simpsons, they still have some tricks up their sleeves.
