The Illusionist (2006)
Whatever who see here is just illusion
The movie is great and a must watch for all thriller lovers. I am rating it 8 only for the following points-
- They didn't disclose how illustration of the ghosts were made
- The crown prince's character was over exaggerated.
Pros- The director has kept the audience on their toes throughout the movie, right from the start.
The magical things they show are all of high standards, kudos to the cinematography.
Background music is awesome
The inspectors character
The Good Shepherd (2006)
CIA's emotion for family and country
The storyline is super good, only thing I felt is some unrelated scenes which made the movie like not fit. This is the slowest movie I have watched but it's good. Matt demon tried a whole lot of different style altogether. It did suit him he did his part, the movie is all about him it just revolves around him. I really liked the dialogues,Deniro did go hard against the Americans especially when referring to the belonging of different people comparing with that of Americans. Life is full of surprises.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
The curtains down finally
After all the effort to kill the mighy monster did not go in vein. Yes! They did it. He is gone. I felt like the last 30 mins of the movie was totally unwanted, maybe they just wanted to make sure to show the fans that's Robert Downey and Chris Evans are not part of the brand anymore. I would like to understand the use of taking the stones back to the future in the end, what if Thanos plays an ant man role to bring back the stones. The movie is all about visuals, it's awesome. I felt like they have dragged the movie a bit, with some unwanted scenes, like Nat and Clint sacrifice fight before the acquiring the soul stone. Even the iron man needs so inspiration, The iron man wants to make sure his chances are not wasted, he grabbed the stones only after realising that this is the 1 chance in 14 millions possibilities.
Columbus Circle (2012)
It could have been better
The movie started off really well, I thought I am going to see another Hitchcock style movie, but he lost its charm in the later part of the movie. The ending was a usual one.
Heat (1995)
An awful ending I'd say...but the heat was on throughout the movie.
The movie started really good and it was constructed in a orderly manner until climax part. I'd say the climax did not justify the entire core of the move, some superficial scenes like Pacino thinks that Deniro must in the car he suddenly sees and figure it out it's Deniro and Deniro sees Pacino and started running and to do justification to the ending director kept a dialogue spoken by Deniro "I said I am never going back" then dies in the hands of Pacino. That's not touching anyway. There was an unnecessary scene in where pacino's step daughter suicide attempt before the climax. Overall I'd suggest to watch the movie it worth a watch.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)
A well made comedy movie
The movie has the kind of a balance to keep the users laughing and thinking on what would be next. I really love the climax part, there is a proverb in my mother tongue, searching for ghee even when you have butter with you, meaning ghee(clarified butter) which can be prepared by melting the butter, but still we will still searching for the ghee outside. After seeing the first twenty minutes I was under the assumption that this is going to be another boring movie, things really took a twist as the movie progress, my favourite characters are Barry the baptist, Rory Breaker, Tanya and the two thiefs and you know what all of them.
Road to Perdition (2002)
Nice revenge story
The first thing I liked about this movie is the background score. The second thing is the costume design. The storyline is a simple revenge based story but the way it is taken had made this a wonderful flick.
Logan (2017)
The best in class
The movie is surreal with impeccable ideas. Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart have done their part in the best way as usual. This is the kinda storyline and ideas I'd love to see in superhero movies. Logan is not just any other superhero movie it's more like a drama. There is so much intensity. Sadly, Logan is dead at the end of the movie. The best way to end the chapter. There is a surprise package in the movie which I don't want to disclose anyway. Watch it!
