A very touching movie and one that shows the hardship that individuals had to face while in the western world. It is scary to watch what war does to people. Great acting by the young Scarlett Johansson, Nastassja Kinski, Tony Goldwyn, Larissa Olyeynik, Vladimir Mashkov and more. I saw this movie in the theaters when it was released and I nearly cried. The movie is soooo realistic and makes one realize what the poor family experienced and the struggles they faced.
I highly recommend watching this movie, it is very touching and very well made. I recently remembered it and will definitely try and watch it again. Absolutely outstanding.
