We Are Family (I) (2024– )
8/10
Suggestions for production
1 March 2024
1- at the end of each segment explain all clues in detail. The six images displayed and the verbal clues by the visible singer and the answer given to momma prior to singing.

2- at the end of each singing segment also show each of the audience members that correctly identified the hidden famous singer. And especially do so at the end of the second singing segment, before the one contestant is to be announced for the opportunity to win the $100,000 grand prize. After each of the 2 singing segments, if there are a lot of people that correctly identified the hidden famous singer group them on screen in multiple screens. But at the end, regardless of how many correctly identified both singers, individually show each on screen.

3- at the end of the show, when you are recapping, show all three pairs of singers onscreen together again. One pair per frame.

All three of the production changes can be done in post, via editing and voice overs. So you can go back now and make the changes even after filming but before airing the show.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards (2023 TV Special)
8/10
Production failures & successes
6 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
1- should have added names of performers on screen. Especially during the medleys

2- periodic sounds heard from what was probably the production room

3- should have left the names, occupations & hometowns of designated fans of album of the year on screen longer

4- production missed a few cues to air the main action

5- sounded like the drum played by Mac Fleetwood was not in tune with piano

6- production should have figured out how to stay within time, especially when they were allotted an unappealing three and a half hours. Major failure to go over tv time by and additional 22 minutes.

7- producer should not have continuously aired shots of Ben Affleck who looked misearable in every aired shot.

8- song categorizing was questionable. Bad bunny as pop for song of the year and not Latin when he sang in Spanish? And other questionable categorizations

Positives Host Trevor Noah was excellent

The idea to bring the designated fans of album of the year on stage to present the award, followed by having the appropriate fan announce the winner and hand over the actual Grammy was a brilliant idea which was probably prearranged by production

Hip hop medley was excellent. Great decision to honor hip hops 50 year anniversary

As always, Lizzo acceptance speech was great.

Sound decision to have a designated helper assist women up the stairs. Other awards shows sometimes forget.

Although the show was a disappointing 3 hours and 42 minutes long, the pacing was good and the host Trevor Noah's assistance, the time passed effortlessly.

Project Runway: The Last Straw (2021)

Shame on production
18 December 2021
The unconventional challenge is quirky and entertaining to watch but how dare the show eliminate someone based on this episode. A designer is eliminated for a challenge that they will never repeat in their career.

10 star review to the designers. What they all created was masterful.

0 star review to the shows production for eliminating a designer.

Last Vegas (2013)

Excellent movie for the over 40 crowd
20 February 2014
This is a great movie for the over 40 crowd. I highly recommend seeing this movie. I happen to be over 40 and i took a date who also was over 40 and we both chuckled throughout the entire movie. Very funny, great writing and great acting from a great ensemble cast and set in an exciting location- Las Vegas. Each actor was given great lines and they all delivered. Even the supporting actors were good. I am surprised that it has not received higher ratings from other but perhaps it is a generational issue.

One interesting footnote: I live in Las Vegas and so does the girl I took to the movie and she noticed that the actors walking down the strip to the Aria from downtown were actually heading in the wrong direction.
