My name is Brian and I am a physician.One thing I never liked in school was math. I could not see the importance of it past the basics.Namely calculus and other higher math required in premed.I wished Numb3rs would have been on when I was in school.It makes me see how math applications make sense.And the use is important.But back to the show and we need to realize it is a show and I too was stunned by others comment that this show was too Jewish. I am Irish catholic and did not notice that anyone was any particular race, extraction. I looked at the show as a positive role model for our current student to possibly find an interest in wanting to do better in mathematics!Lets face it, most countries feel our present students are not up to snuff compared to other countries.I feel Numb3rs is unique, original not a clone of 2 or more other shows with the same name but occurring indifferent cities.Please tell your friends to give it a "shot".Usually shows this different bring up controversy and opinions.That in itself is a positive statement. In closing I guess I was colored blind because I just saw several great actors doing their job wonderfully. Thanks for your time. BCPMD from Northern California.

A nice surprise for Bat Lovers scary not cheesy

If you are looking for a well done movie normally found on cable look no further. This movie was made for Haloween and they didn't have the biggest budget, AND was well written and acted. There where several minimal choosy scary scenes. There was fairly, thought out and great scenes that carried this movie in a singular directions This was more psychologically scary with minimal bloody cheap shot scenes, one quickly knows the major cause and evil are man drinking blood suckers i.e. the vampire bats, hence the movie name. The surprise are the few human blood suckers who dump things in the water they shouldn't! Sorry I can not tell you more just see the movie it is entertaining. Not a Oscar winner but worth your time. Anyway I can't remember any Oscar nominated scary movie let alone a winner. Enjoy, Brian bcpmd

I remember the first time I ever saw a movie with Mr. James Colburn, it was on a T.W.A Jet Airline from New York to Oakland after having been to the Expo 1967 in Montreal, Canada, like a world's fair probably a strange concept today. Movies where just being introduced in the jet air craft a Boeing 707 now non-existence plane and unforuately a non-existence airline.He played a James Bond type role. But over the 45 years I saw some of his movies and I noticed a genuine love and increased professional ability in his acting.Mr. Colburn was a professional actor and a master in his trade. He should be remembered for ages and I will be a fan for life. Brian Pedersen M.D.

There number gets less every year but I tell you Ms.Lansbury is one of the last icons of movies,theatre,singing and T.V. She has garnished four emmies 15 nominations in all. tonnies,academy awards nominations.She never seems to age but one of her most popular movies in the mid-fifties with Frank Sinatra, "The Manchurian Canidate". In that role she played the mother of the presidential candidate, in reality she was only three years older than actor Larence Harvey the English actor who played her son, she was only 36.However I apologize for the diversion. In "Mrs. Arris Goes to Paris" you see a determined strong willed English woman walking the extra mile or so, to work to save every possible way she could to save up enough for one of the priceless and elegant dresses. Though almost predictable with her charm and personality who can see her winning the hearts of people in "the know" one by one.This movie lifts one's hearts at a time in the world where we need a little fantasy a good feeling and a excellent actress, Angela to come to the rescue.Thank You bcpmd
