The Silence (2019)
Some deaf people can speak well ...
I just wanted to say that some deaf people can talk well. It just depends on when they became deaf.
The Walking Dead: The Day Will Come When You Won't Be (2016)
Holy crap
This by far was my favorite episode of the series, even though it did cost us Glenn and Abraham in the end.
Hated the slow build to reveal Negan's first kill, but it was incredibly worth it in the end. The whole episode flowed well, from the time Negan killed Abraham, to the memory flashes shown while Rick was on top of the RV.
My biggest drawback, though, is with Negan. How the crap did that ax wind up on the roof? He clearly threw it in the walker horde, yet Rick found it on top of the RV.
All-in-all, though, a great episode. I can't wait to see where they go next.
Sons of Anarchy (2008)
What a show
I started Sons of Anarchy not really knowing what to expect, except for what my dad -- who's in a Christian MC -- and several friends told me. They thought I would love the show, but I was skeptical. I watched the first episode, but fell asleep -- so I gave it a shot again a few days later.
This time, I was hooked. I watched the first season in a week, then breezed through the second in just a few days during a snowstorm. Everyone who told me I'd love the show was right. This show had me. I couldn't get enough of it.
I got to Season 7 -- the final one -- and decided to take my time with it, to really try and savor every minute of the show. I finished it just a few nights ago, and the finale blew me away. The scene with Jax, Abel, Thomas and Wendy were incredibly powerful, and the imagery throughout the episode -- the bread and wine and the angel of death Jax encounters at the courthouse -- made it even better. What an ending, too, with Jax's final ride.
I highly recommend this show to anyone and everyone.
iZombie (2015)
This show rules
Started watching this show on Hulu having heard nothing about it. Ten minutes into the pilot, I was hooked. The pace is just right and they haven't dragged anything out -- hopefully it stays that way. The main character has been fantastic so far, and seeing Keely from "Phil of the Future" is nothing but a plus. Rose and Aly play well off each other and so do Rose and Dr. Ravi.
This show rules and the character development to this point has been great. I can't wait to see what's in store for this show. I hope the CW renews it for next year. CW has put out some really good shows the last several years, and you can count this among that list. Hopefully the solid writing continues.
