Blacklight (2022)
Not as bad as they say!
Have just watched it with low expectation due to bad reviews here. It actually is pretty decent and enjoyable to watch, at least until the last ten minutes. So, do not be afraid to watch it. Give 7 because of the ending which is too easy and simple. Should have been more.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Living Doll (2007)
Haunting and gripping
Watched it many times already, still creeps me out. Very outstanding performances, especially that of the psychotic super creepy killer. Those who said it's boring must be brain dead. The music is really good too to accommodate the eery atmosphere and heart pounding scenes. Good job, CSI Vegas!
CSI: Vegas (2021)
Okay, but could have been more
I was not completely satisfied with the whole 1-10 episodes. Don't know if it's because of my high expectation or just can not feel the thrill as before. Gill and Sarah are okay, but not really. Hodges lost his lovable quirkiness. At first I found it hard to connect to the new casts, but they grow on you. I love the chemistry between Alli and Fulsom. My biggest issue is that I found most of the criminals are not interesting enough and some of them, including the main enemy, are boring and too easy. The main crime is good, but the characters are blah. Still, I give 8 for the good stuff and I would still love to watch any more episodes coming up.
Criminal Minds: Middle Man (2010)
No one feels sorry foe the unsubs
I read the reviews and feel confused with two negative ones. Do they watch the show or just wrap it up in their own imagination? Obviously we do not feel sorry for the unsubs. Where do they get the idea that the writers or the episode is trying to make the viewers feel sorry for them? As the chief's saying his wife left him, it is not an excuse for him at all. It even underlines how pathetic he is. Hotch is just being polite.
Criminal Minds: Normal (2008)
Heartbreaking
Great performances by the actors, especially when they apprehended the suspect. Truly heartbreaking. I could feel what Jordan must have felt by the end of the case. The last scene in BAU office saves the day after such a case. And it is nice to see that rare little smile from Aaron. Thumbs up for Criminal Minds! I wish for a reboot of a new season really! (with mostly the same players please!)
Criminal Minds: Birthright (2007)
My first and how it still amazes me until now
This was the first episode of CM that I watched a long time ago. It still gets into me how disturbing it is and amazes me how great the performances and how interesting the characters are. The interactions of the kidnapped girls are emotional. Each action or reaction of the three mothers is somehow tragically haunting. I also like the way the BAU interacts with each other, esp between Hotchner and JJ here. Kudos for Criminal Minds! Since then I have become a fan. Now I am watching reruns every day and starting to give ratings and reviews.
Criminal Minds: Lucky (2007)
Chilling but awesome!
This episode is super awesome with two different cases. The secondary one is cool (poor Garcia). I have been watching reruns and I believe Derek is actually secretly and unknowingly in love with Garcia. He just doesn't want to admit it and neither is she. He cares too much to be just a friend and he is jealous in his own way though he always wants the best for her. Anyway, it really is an interesting background story for the next episode. Meanwhile, the primary case is truly gruesome and the ending is very very disturbing. But that what makes Criminal Minds is super awesome. As much as I feel disturbed, I can't help myself thinking this is a superb episode.
I don't understand what the two reviewers here defending satanic people complaining about. It clearly is stated that most satanic cults do not kill people. Mostly they are annoying pranksters who are merely attention seekers with childish agenda. Rossi is even the one who debunked the idea of killers satanic cult anyway. If the unsub happens to be the super rare one who does otherwise, it is just one rare case as explained before, so what's the complain about? Don't you watch the episode?
Criminal Minds: The Boogeyman (2006)
Very thrilling. Sad too though
The story is definitely creepy. The unsub is even creepier. The scene when he was in the car and his dad came to him was heart wrenching. I was also kinda sad that elle had to go. Regardless what others say, I like Elle. So what if she was cold bla bla bla, it was her character in the show. I think she is really hot and cool at the same time. Her decision in the last episode was justly condemned, but the reason was somehow understandable given her state of mind and background. Too bad the actress decided to leave the series that it had to end this way.
Criminal Minds: Face Off (2020)
Savoring this so much!
Because it is the last before the last, I kept on postponing watching it. Exciting episode indeed! So thrilled and also so sad, realizing that it is going to an end. Everything is so great! I wish they would make more episodes...
Criminal Minds: Chameleon (2019)
Amazing episode!
I have to say that it is great and just like I want to see in Criminal Minds. Can not understand some bad reviews and complaints about rossi. He is very good. The story is chilling and the ending is creepy enough. It's weird that people who care enough to give reviews on their favorite tv series are also so harsh in giving rating. I would never give less than 5 for any episodes of my favorite tv series. Some episodes may be disappointing or weak, but it always is still a decent show.
Criminal Minds: All You Can Eat (2018)
I like it despite of fearing its bad reviews before watching
The main case is creepy. Makes me wonder if I will ever go to a salad bar again. The second case, about Garcia is not as lame as some people here think. Why hates the Gracia's moments? I think it is really good and touching and meaningful. It must be hard to carry the guilt for both parts all the years. Forgiveness can come in handy. After all it has been 20 years and we need to move on in order to free ourselves from the pain of the past. Just my opinion... Btw, I still miss Hotch. It would be great if only Hotch and Morgan could still be in the team.
Criminal Minds: Annihilator (2018)
Of course I hate Barnes. Who doesn't? But...
At first I was so mad at Barnes and how the team suffered. I was frustrated and blamed the writers, producers, directors, any one who came up with such an "idiotic political unnecessary entanglement" in my favorite TV show. But then I came to realize that it is good to feel so strongly again about the team. Having an enemy like that may not be the first, but Barnes was so annoying that it's like the first (Strauss's nothing and she has even redeemed herself). As much as I hate the character brilliantly played, I was pretty excited to see what comes next because of that. And it is good to feel that way again. So I guess it is not a bad move after all!
Criminal Minds: Wheels Up (2017)
Nice ending for a fresh start, but I miss Hotch so much
So, basically did Luke let Scratch die or he was just about to help when the omnipotent killer fell and died so easily due to the law of gravity? Such a silly way to die for such an intriguing serial killer, but he has been prolonged too long anyway. A bit sad for Stephen, though he bored me sometimes and the new addition member of team seems give more promises. It is nice to have a fresh start after some dragging episodes! Again, I miss Hotch and his cool ways of delivering lines. Wish he were back then.
Criminal Minds: Seek and Destroy (2017)
Disturbingly annoying unsub(s)
Good episode. Chilling and violent. By the ending scene, I felt emotional. I wonder why no one slaps her or blitz her head when she starts maniacally screaming. Gemes deh!!
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Shock Waves (2010)
Still a decent episode, why hate it?
I found it as decent as always. Some reviews are so negative just because of one additional player? Come on.. Grow up! So much hatred for the poor young boy (with so few lines and scenes). Not a fan of Beiber, but I still love the episode anyway. Some scenes are captivating, the regular members of the show are awesome as always, I like the scene between dr Robins and Ray.
Jurassic Park III (2001)
I still like it. Please don't be too judgemental
Despite of all the critics, I find it still decent enough as a dino movie. So what if it is not perfect or not as good as the first, the second? It is a fun dino movie. Just enjoy it and stop the negativities
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)
Still entertaining
Don't understand the low ratings and bad reviews. What do you expect actually? It is a pretty decent sequel with lots of charms. Let's stop being so negative and enjoy the movie. And I also do not understand why some people give only 5 or 6 stars while the content of their comment clearly states that they appreciate the movie. Why gave such low rating if you mean to defend the movie? Weird....
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010)
Love it!
Maybe there are some flaws and cliché, still it is fun to watch. Hope there is a sequel for such an entertaining adventure!
World War Z (2013)
A really decent zombie movie
It has been SEVEN years since it was released and I have watched it several times, that I decided to write a little comment here (barely a review). WWZ is such a thrill for me and my family, especially during the Corona pandemic situation in 2020. It is still believable and not relying much on gore, a clever not lazy plot, and has some real jumps too. In the end we are all glad and lifted up after watching it, because the virus we face today is not as scary as like that one in the movie 😂
Knives Out (2019)
Please make the next one
I don't usually make reviews, but this one is so captivating, that I hope they are going to make it into serials on the big screen. Love all the wits, the guessing, the tailing, the characters, and Daniel Craig should play this again in the next series to come.
