One Tree Hill (2003–2012)

Coming of age... again.
27 September 2007
Because we haven't had enough of that, am I right! I felt compelled to post about this show after flicking the channels and flicking past "One Tree Hill", like I have so many times before. But this time was different, something grabbed me, pulled me in, intrigued me. I flicked back.

I am not unlike 95% of the degenerate human population, I feed off of TV, excessively like a drug. Even if it's a very bad batch, what the hell it's still the dope I need, I'll still smoke it. As such I'm not completely unfamiliar with shows like these, shows I hate, that I know I'm better than.

So when I flicked back to One Tree Hill and saw a blonde, frizzy haired girl and a dark haired girl I sort of recognized I kept watching. All of the sudden, it spoke, the dark haired one moaned like an emo about subjects only a very air-headed teenage girl could find to be troubling issues. While talking it suddenly turns and barks at a person behind them, "band geek staring!", paraphrased as I was not paying enough attention to give a damn about anything the writers of a show like this could come up with. But THIS intrigued me, why did she say that out of the blue? These two girls seemed like main characters, I recognize their faces as OTH flies past my screen as I flick past on a regular basis. Why on earth would the writers want their main characters to be dislikable? For all the flaws that O.C had, and there were many, at least their main characters weren't stuck up bimbos. Maybe the writers of OTH should think about that as they try to copy O.C in every single way.

I will be continuing to flick past this god awful show. But remember, this is how we do it in da OTH.

This show will be canceled before I end this sentence...
28 March 2006
Seriously, skimming through the comments on this show made me laugh.

I've finally found out who ACTUALLY watch shows like these and keep them running, for a whole 5 episodes or so.

Still, this show is destined to be canceled sooner or later, lets make that sooner, the thought of Pamela Anderson in a sitcom, actually the thought of Pamela Anderson in ANYTHING, kind of brings a demeaning chuckle and smile out of everyone I meet.

I could not agree more with that guy who said, "'Stacked' is exactly the kind of show you're more likely to see IN another show as a parody of a sitcom." That sums up the show in a clean, easy sentence.

I'd rate this sitcom but... I just cant get myself to even give it a 1.

Warning: Spoilers
Caught this late at night somewhere in the middle so I might be biased, maybe something happens at the beginning? If you see anything remotely interesting, stop there and change the channel, it's a one time event.

Sure people might say it's "real", some parts, unpleasant and gritty, oh yea Hollywood would never have the guts to make such a film, a movie being badly directed does not make it an independent must see.

There's not much spoiler do be done because, well.. nothing happens, I guess it's supposed to be a "coming of age" movie, you know the type, teenage girl has sex and does some drugs, fights with mom because she can't stay out all night. I guess there's some sort of lesson to be had somewhere in there. Must've missed it while my mind drifted off to happier places.

this is just hilarious

Has ANYONE actually seen this film or did the plot summary make people rush to vote for 10's and 1's?

Obviously it occurs all the time but it's never been more apparent than here. It's sad really, there's no doubt how many democrats have come here and how many republicans.

Please get over your biases, all of you. No, you too. Saying Fahrenheit 9/11 is the worst movie you've ever seen and this movie's TRAILER the most captivating you've ever seen is not in any conceivable way objective and it discredits you from ever using the phrase, "you damn liberals".

Please, WATCH a movie before making up your mind about it, Michael Moore is not the only one who's permitted to make critical documentaries. At the same time, praising(or reversely, insulting) a movie you haven't seen just because it caters/doesn't cater to your political ideology is not in your best interest.
