One of the best episodes of the last seasons
9 February 2022
Brilliantly written. A fantastic overview of politic correctness associated with the audiovisual industry, and particularly with the show itself. All previous episodes in previous seasons where the gang used blackface were always made in a way that the viewer understands how wrong that was. This episode is a slight dig to those who cannot see beyond the context of those previous episodes, and I love it. And the gang's comments/reactions to their own movie are beyond hilarious.

Let down by the ending
9 February 2022
The episode itself is written in a way that builds up towards a dramatic ending: there is a jumper, and the gang needs to decide what they're doing. But it just doesn't live up to the excitement of the decision they've reached. There was so much more they could've done that would lead to humorous situations. How funny would it be to see Cricket on that roof doing his thing? To have Dennis once again interacting with the reporter? Or even, to have Dee getting her car destroyed by having the jumper falling on it? Even the punch line at the end falls short, as Cricket could just shrug his shoulders and go ahead anyway.

In the end, it's a frustrating episode for me at least.

One of the best guest stars in IASIP
4 February 2022
Keegan-Michael Key is great in this. The way he reacts throughout the episode is hilarious, and his interactions with the Reynolds are one of the best I've seen in this series by a guest star. What I like about this episode is how despicable the gang comes across, and yet I still find myself rooting for them to win.

And yes... dragon meat is delicious.
