Hollow in the Land (2017)

Solid Film

I decided to watch the movie because I like a lot Of Shawn Ashmores movies. Although not award winning films, this film is one of the only movies I have seen in recent years that was really done well. The story is intriguing and will keep you guessing until the but not in the traditional way. More like you will be so confused as to why things are happening and what is the reason and who is behind it. The movie starts out and then in a flash things are moving. The actual cinematography was really well done and not all this C G stuff. It was filmed in beautiful Canada and they use that land to lay out the vibe. Shawn ashmore part wasn't HUGE but it was a needed one. The true star of this movie is the main character female. She was not only beautiful but plays her character as if she literally became her. Check this one out. You won't be disappointed.

The Wizard of Oz (1982)

Beautiful Animation. Childhood Favorite

I am 38 years old and I have never forgotten this version. I am from the UsA but when I lived in Germany at the age of 3 and up I would faithfully watch this movie. I remember being so scared of the Flying Monkeys. It truly was a dark scary scene. Japanese Animation in the 80s is something to behold. This movie I used to pop in my VcR and watch but today I have managed to find it on youtube. If you have young children I would 100 percent put this on for them. It stands the test of time. The voice Actors are so good in this. The Bad Witch is so bad! The good Witxh is so pretty. Toto is the cutest lil doggie. Watch it. You won't regret.

Endless Love (1981)

I need more!

The type of Teenage love some of us have been really lucky to experience. Romeo and Juliette-esque. These two had such great chemistry on screen. The love scenes were really good. Keep in mind these 2 are in high school. The parents think things are getting to serious to fast. One parent is okay with what ia going on and the Father is mixed up. At first he didn't mind. They throw parties for all the teenage kids and everyone gets to drink and smoke pot, so i don't understand what the big deal was about his daughter having a relationship, yes she was 14 but very mature. At one point this movie does get lost in the weeds but then it comes back. And the at it ends tells you basically what's going to happen but if you like the movie like me, you wish you could no more. I recommend it.

David Copperfield (1999–2000)

Absolute best acting!

These period pieces are not usually my cup of Tea. I saw it on Amazon and said let me check it out because it is Charles Dickens after all. Amazing acting and the story is so touching. The story is sad, Happy , redemption all of that. A great cast of characters. I also noe see why Daniel Radcliffe is so special. He was so great in this and it was his first acting job. Definitely watch this, its a good intro to Charles Dickens after Scrooge.

It's not an award winning film, but I hope you didn't expect it to be. This is a TV Movie type that when your bored you watch. I actually liked Jack Kesy and Trey Songz acting in this. Jack is really talented. I think if he wasn't in it, it wouldn't have been as good. It's a Friendship and revenge movie. Not terrible.

Sad Story

Very interesting story from the beginning. You learn about the background of the Characters and Della Reese's character was so well played. Meredith Baxter came off so mean but then you realize she has things going on also. Patricia Heaton is great and I've always loved Anna Chlumsky who plays the daughter MB. This is a film that will warm your heart and make you sad.

This is definite watchable. A typical comedy romance. It's not an award winner and there are plenty of flaws but there are funny parts and cute parts that make up for it. The only thing I didn't care for was the end. Wasnt your typical ending.

Titanic (1997)

True Masterpiece. Classic

I was stunned when i saw the review was at a 7.8! That's just beyond ridiculousness. I still remember the impact this movie did on so many back in 97 and still 2 years after that it was still number one movie. Everything is a 10 in this movie. The cinematography, Directing, acting, set. Everything. So realistic down to what the titanic really looked like in its hay-day. Amazing detail in this film. The only characters that weren't real in real life were Jack and Rose. But what James Cameron did with there story was something to see. Everyone cries when they watch this film. 2021 and I will always watch this film and get transported back in time.

Tragic but very memorable TV movie

The Scripps family had a lot of tragedy including the one daughter jumping off the same bridge as Toris Father in 2018. Sadly Victoria Scripps has been living a sad drug addicted life. This movie is a tale of Domestic abuse and what you shouldn't do. Which is stay. Don't stay. Leave. All the money in the world and these people weren't happy at all.

The Substitute Wife (1994 TV Movie)

Different, Original.

I was captivated by this story because you don't see many stories like this. A woman is dying and finds someone to replace her to take care of her husband and children. Eventually the husband and the replacement start to care for each other and the wife approves. There is more to the story. Was sad and funny and very good story telling.

Page Turner/ Suspenseful

I have never read the books but as far as the movie goes it's really well done. There are so many layers to this it's almost like a trilogy but there is actually one more episode. So it's a four episode mini series. The weird thing is though if you didn't know you might actually think it was the end. The end of the series or always in a good way. But you know there has to be more answers to secrets of Ruby. I absolutely love the relationship between Ruby and Beau. I hate the relationship between her and her sister Giselle! The rags to riches story and some interesting things in between. Very American gothic type. I highly recommend this movie to anyone.

Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

You'll be surprised!!! Very 70s but classic

Okay I was born in 1985, thanks to Turner classic Movie channel I saw the is one day and was hooked. It was so strange and so much was going on, I couldn't turn it off. I could tell it was definitely something along the lines of phantom of the opera but with a 70s swing to it. The music had me caught up in awe. Very good movie that I will never forget now. People who like music should definitely watch this. Great love story too.

Savannah (1996–1997)

Not happy with Cancellation

As other reviewers have stated, the show was cancelled and it was far too early to do so. They left us with a cliff hanger. The shows scenery was amazing, the actors and actresses were beautiful and handsome. The accents were spot on. The drama was so nail biting! It's sad that this show was on WB channel. The channel back in the 90s was known more like comedy sitcoms. But WB did bring us Dawson's Creek and Felicity and Gilmore Girls. So I'm sure Aaron thought it would be a good move to bring it there. I just can't for the life of me understand why it was cancelled. Everyone who saw the show absolutely loved it. Very reminiscent of any drama made by Aaron spelling. Kind of like Dallas, dynasty, melrose. I absolutely loved Jamie Luner! Always have since just the 10 of us. Wish they would reboot this show. We need it.

Great Throwback! Nostalgia 90s alert!

First off of you had a crush on Omri Katz from Hocus Pocus then you will be happy to watch this. I was in love with him when I was younger. This show reminds me of are you afraid of the dark but not as scary. It's more like silly and fun. Sci-fi somewhat. I love the narration and the actors are great. Shame the show didn't make a season 2. Never did understand why. This also played on the Disney channel years later.definitely give it a watch. Without shows like this, there would be No Stranger things that's for sure.

You've seen this premise a million times. Crazy Firl or Crazy Guy wants someone, they are obsessed, someone else is in the way. So if someone else is in the way what should they do?! That's where the fun and craziness begins. I personally love this movie because Mischa Barton is a very under rated actress. She plays crazy really really well. Btw this was a lifetime movie ... for whatever reason it is hard to find now. If you find it, watch it.

I haven't seen a horror/Suspense movie like this in a long long time. Many many years. Wes Craven is the master. This film was really interesting and it had some really great scary moments. I really enjoyed it. One of the type of films I can watch more then once. The premise was really interesting and there were some really fun spins to get it going. Recommend for sure
