Kids (1995)

Quite realistic

Many said this movie is more directed to 90s since it's release at the period. I think it will still relate to some kids in present time. However, I do think that nowadays kids are more mature, and are able to think for themselves maybe due to higher standard of living and etc. I just feel that the film don't give good reason for kids to behave this way. Maybe the film can include scenes of how low socioeconomic status can cause these behaviors.

Batman Begins (2005)

Not a typical superhero film

This film has 2 subjects I enjoy: Psychology and Philosophy. The Psychological aspect is fear. This is shown in the throughout the film that Bruce got to overcome the fear to save himself and Gotham. The Philosophy aspect is mainly what principle Bruce has and decision he made based on it. Both aspect is a good build up from the start till the end and now I know why people love Batman.

Gets boring
26 February 2018
I know that there are quite a lot of ideas presented in this movie, but perhaps there are too many. It just don't feel exciting, maybe its because there are too much sociology and philosophy in this movie. I do like some of the ideas though.

One of the best modern Kung Fu film
20 February 2018
This is my second viewing. The movie is unique because it has comedy, kung fu and fantasy. Though predictable but still good. Not a scene is wasted, characters are developed well and fighting scene is entertaining. I wish for a sequel although unlikely.

Lilya 4-Ever (2002)

Losing all hope was freedom
18 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This is a messed up film. Lilya is already living in poverty but when her mom left, her aunt who takes care of her downgraded her house to even smaller house. Lilya became a hooker to support herself because her mom severed all ties with her. Lilya is then tricked into prostitution. Now, her only friend felt betrayed and killed himself. Lilya got depressed sex after sex and she dreamt of her friend telling to not give up. She managed to escaped but still gave up in the end because she couldn't take it anymore. Sometimes, dying is actually better than living.

Adventure Time: Time Sandwich (2013)
Season 5, Episode 33

Don't think too much
8 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is pretty original.

Basically, Jake make the most awesome sandwich while in zone. And magic man stole his sandwich to eat, he gave Jake a riddle to solve while slowing himself. This is when others were called to help solve the slowing bubble. However, they didn't even try to solve the riddle, but it was pretty obvious that there is no need for help because Jake just had to remain sad to solve the riddle.

Often, people think too much for a problem, they use complex ways to solve what they assume is complex but in fact, can be solve by easy way or even doing nothing like Jake.

I hoped to see even 'thinking' or life lesson episode.

Adventure Time: BMO Lost (2013)
Season 5, Episode 17
9/10
Interesting episode
6 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the episode where Finn and Jake are minor characters, and our cute little BMO is the main character. It could be BMO imagining things or real about the bubble, but i assume it's real. The last few moment were amazing because when Jake pops the bubble, this shows that someone important to you may not be important to others. And finally the bubble realize it is air, this is a good twist as it has good ending. However, there is room for improvement such as BMO's adventure because meeting the giant baby with that color came off as creepy.

Pardon for my poor English.

One of the greatest cartoon/anime
9 October 2013
First i have to admit i'm 19 years old but i love it. I started watching this cause i heard it's pretty good. Even though this show is targeted to kids, i think it's really suitable for people of all ages.

Kids will love it because of all the awesome bending. Adolescence will love it because of also it's awesome bending, romance and some life lesson.Adult will love it because life lesson and maybe find the innocence in you.I'm sure there still humor and many other things people liked about this show.

This show also has great character development and plot and i cried in some episodes, because it was very emotional.

Lastly, if you haven't watch this, i highly recommend you to watch. Sorry for any poor use of English if there's any.

The Gold Rush (1925)

All time classic
26 August 2013
To be honest, i watched this movie because this is voted as one of the best film, and is my very first silent movie. I always wanted to try all kinds of genre of movies, so i decided to watch. Although i have very high expectation from this movie, but this movie has surpass my expectation. I really enjoyed this movie and i notice most of the modern day comedy film and drama still uses the tactics in this film, although this film probably has copied from even olden days movies, but this movie just hit the bullseye. All the tactics were used and reached the maximum potential. In conclusion, i enjoyed every second of this film. A definitely MUST WATCH before you die!
