Despicable Me (2010)

A surprising TREAT, with many laughs, loads of smiles & an all around FUN time!

I can't say enough good things about this movie. I started watching it great skepticism. I knew I was NOT going to like it. I knew I was going to HATE the minions, and I truly believed I would define the movie in one word: stupid.

BOY WAS I WRONG....in fact, as soon as it was over, I couldn't wait to watch part 2..and when that was over, I was looking for part 3 (glad to know that we will have that in 2017).

My wife said to me yesterday, "You watched both?"

LOL...she was incredulous that I had done so with such speed...I mean I do have a life....I have a career, and own a business, so she wondered when I had time....I MADE TIME!

I think by now you know I would HIGHLY recommend this movie. It is funny, fun and certainly keeps your interest. It's like a good book that you can't put down....just EXCELLENT!

The Descent (2005)

This is One Not To Miss

I've watched this movie several times, and I have to say- each time it renews the initial scariness I felt upon first watching it.

The tension is great between the characters as they roam through a cave system that's dark, and filled with the possibility of lurking creatures at every step. The story line is awesome with regards to the interpersonal relationships between the women, and how each one comes to the being part of the cave exploration.

There is one scene in the beginning that is so good...if you are claustrophobic at all, you may not want to watch it. It will have you gasping for air, and you're heart will pound out of your chest.

The women of this movie are strong and independent, which is kind of nice to see for a change. It makes what happens in the underground cave tunnels that much more exciting.

This is one not to miss!

Grace and Frankie (2015–2022)

Hope they Renew for Second Season

This is a great series. Lily T and Jane F work so well off one another, and the guys do pretty well, also. The first two episodes are a tad slow-- after that, the chemistry between the cast members starts to heat up, and things really start to get enjoyable for the viewer. It's funny. At moments it is seriously sad...it's not about "gay," it is ABOUT ALL RELATIONSHIPS. The relationships between men and women, between women and women and men and men (in non-sexual terms)...it's about love, marriage...it's about surviving divorce. It's about opening your eyes and heart to seeing people in your life in new ways...all in all, it is a solid 9.

I often find myself laughing out loud a couple of times during each episode. If you start to watch it, you'll become addicted- promise!

Come Back to Me (2014)

REALLY GOOD MOVIE.....I'd recommend it highly

The ending is a stunner. Of course, along the way, there are some things you can figure out....but others which are totally WILD....and you can't and won't be able to put it together.

I thought this would be a silly horror movie...I WAS Proved WRONG...I couldn't stop watching it. It definitely grabbed my attention.

The guy who wrote that the acting was not very good--- heck, this is a HORROR/THRILLER....the acting was adequate, for sure....and, the "bad guy" was spooky and creepy, as they should be.....SEE IT...YOU'LL ENJOY IT, if you like this genre.

It keeps you on the edge, and it also confuses you- you really can't put all the pieces together-- although you may THINK you know...smh...you don't.

Mob Wives (2011–2016)

Great Show ~ One of the Best on TV

I give this show a 9 out of 10 rating. Great entertainment, and the chicks are just like girls I grew up with!!! ;) You can't make this stuff up, either. You got one gal potentially going down for 'cooking' the books of her husband's business...as she awaits sentencing, she decides now is the time to go PAR-TAY in Las Vegas, and live it up in a Penthouse with her g/fs. OMG. How silly...really? That wasn't a good move, at all! She ends up in the newspapers...looking all chill in sunny Las Vegas with a drink in her hand by the pool and with a smile that says: "Life is good." Hmmmmmmm if I were the presiding judge who was assigned to her case and I was soon to proclaim her sentence, it surely would have angered me. Maybe she'll get 5 years probation in lieu of jail-- but her attitude seems to suck. If the judge is watching, she could very well be going to jail! THIS SHOW IS A MUST WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Borderline (2002 TV Movie)

Great movie- Gershon is terrific

This movie was surprisingly good. I did not expect to like it. I ended up liking it very much. I would suggest that it is best to watch it NOT reading too much about it. Gina Gershon does a great job....and there are twists and turns here that keep you guessing. I honestly didn't know who to believe right up to the very end of the movie. It had me on the edge of my seat. Gina Gershon's acting was superb, and really surprisingly good. It's a low budget flick, so I judge it from that standpoint and from that standpoint, it was excellent! It's definitely an "escape" movie. LOL. I give it an 8 out of 10, but with a qualifier: that is, that I am judging it against other of these types of movies, not against say, "Psycho"...against other low budgets, this is definitely at the top of the pile.
