Lineup of Death

I remember when this show was on at the same time as Package Deal, two awful and unfunny Canadian sitcoms at the same time. I watched a lot of American TV on those nights because try all I could I could rarely make it through an entire episode of either of those shows. When I did it was in disbelief shows this bad could actually get written and approved and shot and edited and go through all those levels of TV production without anyone hitting the brakes and saying hold on a second these shows actually suck and aren't funny... also it made me angry to know my tax dollars keep paying for junk shows like these when I never ever actually get any enjoyment out of them at all. It is a sad state of affairs in Canadian television when this keeps happening. Anyway the writing and acting were ludicrously terrible in both of these shows and I'm glad to see them gone.

The Big Short (2015)

This is a great drama with some elements that are actually really funny too. It's a good story, well written with good characters, and there is some top notch acting in it. Bale and Carrell are terrific.

Bread (1986–1991)

Great British Comedy

A lot of it is dry but this show really is a great example of late 80s and early 90s British TV comedy. The way the family goes about their business to get by the way they want is well told, well acted, and most of all funny! Fantastic characters.

Big Brother Canada (2013– )

Yawn

I don't mind "garbage" reality TV and love some of those shows, like Survivor or Flavor of Love etc, etc. But if a show is garbage it also has to be entertaining like those shows. This show is just garbage that's not even funny or entertaining. It's just so boring and over long I don't understand how anyone can sit through it. Boring people doing boring things, it is just completely lifted from the US version of the show but without any good talent on the show or making the show (can't get entertainment out of these people or come up with ways to do that). This show is a complete waste of time that could be better spent watching paint dry.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989)

A Super Funny Comedy Classic

This movie is a legend to me. My sister and I used to watch it and the sequel Bill and Ted's Bonus Journey all the time until we actually wore the tape out and it broke in the machine. It was a big disappointment for us until my mom tracked down another used VHS copy. Anyway it is still a part of my collection and Bill and Ted always make me smile and laugh. A movie to just kick back and not think about. It'll make you happy!! Rest in Peace George Carlin! I can't wait until the "Threequel" comes out.

You Got Trumped: The First 100 Days (2016–2018)

Phenomenal

This web series is very funny. The guy playing Trump is amazing and Chris Christie steals the show. Some seriously sexy girls too as you would expect in a show about what a pig Trump is. It is very edgy but made me laugh a lot even if some shots made me sick, if you saw it you know what shots I am talking about.

Closet Monster (2015)

This is an average quality drama film. It is really well shot and the acting is good, but nothing about the movie really stands out as great. The story isn't that good and the fantastical parts really aren't pulled off very well in my opinion. They took me out of the film and I just didn't really see why any of it was necessary. In the end it did not pay off well enough or very well at all. A good set up to the story that ultimately disappointed.

The Last of the Finest (1990)

Good

This movie is about what you would expect just from the title and looking at the art on the DVD box. It's a bunch of expert, no nonsense drug cops who are in a war against drugs and there turns out to be corruption high up the ladder. So they have to fight against the odds to keep their war against crime going. Some surprisingly good acting by some decent actors like Dennehy and Pantoliano (spelling?), this one is worth watching if you get a chance.

What a fun movie this was! Christina Applegate was quite famous at the time from her starring role in the hit television series "Married with Children". She was the sexy sister in that show but in this movie she's much less of a party girl and is the responsible kid in the family, keeping everything together after their mom leaves town and the babysitter passes away. She's still sexy, just not a party animal haha. Anyway the babysitter dies and they don't want to tell their mom what happened so they won't ruin her trip or their summer alone to party at their house, so they keep it all a secret. Not a genius film by any measure but it's a lot of good, mindless fun.

Love Streams (1984)

This movie is a bit dated but it is really great. The acting by the two stars in this, Gena Rowlands and John Cassavetes, is superb. Both of them may give their best performances in this. It is a dramatic movie and dramatic roles for both of them but there is also a lot of comedy and both of them delivery which is odd considering neither especially Cassavetes is known for doing any kind of comedy at all. I see there are awards won here and that is great I am frankly surprised there were no Oscars handed out to this, but the Oscars have long been against comedy films unless they are too huge to ignore. Check this movie out if you haven't seen it!

Behind the Candelabra (2013)

Great Performance in a Good Movie

His performance as Liberace is amazing first of all, he is really good and pulls off the drama and emotions very well but is also very believable and funny. The movie is very entertaining and so is his character. I did not honestly believe he would pull off this part so well but he did great and I hope he goes on to win even more awards than just the Emmy he just picked up. I'm not sure how real the story is or if the 'based on a true story' facts are actually true to life or how much so but he is great, the supporting cast is OK and the movie over all is good so it is definitely worth checking out if you have not seen it yet.
