A story to be told
25 December 2023
This is the story of systems, institutions and individuals. Their inefficiency, reasons and limitations. A story of manipulation of those in darkness by the so called illuminated. Story of a crime to shine and whats holding back the asian developing societies.

This story reminds the audience of the societal frustration and alongwith it gives the motivation to keep moving but not towards the ditch. It also gives hope, voice and the message of tolerance with which we can prosper.

Script and story is amazing, all the characters were given equal chance to prove themselves and adequate screentime.

Cinematography is raw giving it more of a realistic feel. Its a thriller with very little suspense giving it more of a natural feel. Actors did justice with their assigned characters.

After a long time I am pleased to watch a genuine story across all cinemas and OTTs.

The theme of direction was like back to the basics, with natural viewing angles and not a lot camera or angle movements.

Worth the watch.

Understanding love
22 March 2018
Got recommendation from my mother to watch this drama. This story is not just about love and losing love. Its about how fragile the relationship of marriage is. How can ego in a particular time can ruin this relationship. How misunderstandings make people suffer. I also loved it because it ends on potraying victory of truth and love.

Characters, dialogues, script and filming is very realistic and superbly done.

Recommended for all the young people and those going into a relaltionship and also for those who are already in a relationship.

Above average fantasy movie with family politics and values
31 December 2016
Well it is easily visible after Sonam's "abhi tu party shrooh hoi hai" she is comfortable in the fantasy world where she like to portray as ordinary.

I actually liked the movie for many reasons, the colors were pretty, sets were amazing, story is a common one but it is always good to see different actors playing the same part. Salman's innocence in prem dil wala was too unnatural. Sonam Kapoors acting is getting mature, even in front of a big star like Salman Khan she was acting between the lines.

Cinematography was amazing, but then again so many unwanted scenes, instead of which there could be some added drama.

In summary whatever the downs of this movie are, Saloo bhai is always entertaining and I always loved watching his movies. I like the end after so much efforts finally the prem got the mahrani. Sometimes it feels good to be lost in fantasies. This is one such movie.
