The Edukators (2004)

Excellent movie...

This movie has everything to be an excellent movie for young people (but also enjoyable for older people). There is loads of political statement made which should make everyone think even if u don't share the opinion. I mean, how many movies are there which talk about politics at all? The movie is full of emotions acted pretty well. The camera which makes u feel to be very close to the scenes and the music support these emotions successfully.

Even if you are not that kind of anarchist, there are still some scenes which are just so familiar to yourself. It's a movie about youth itself I suppose.

The movie is a must-see

I should start with the most annoying things: 1. Completely exaggerated, disgusting and needless violence - seriously, who wants to watch that? I mean I understand that there is some violence in what they want to show us but they this was far too much detail. It was actually awful and some people left the cinema during these scenes which I could understand.

2. The ending - I mean who wrote this ending? That was the worst ending of a movie I have ever seen and I have seen many bad ones! If u don't find the movie ridiculous until then, you will find it so after the last scene. It doesn't fit into the story and was probably just added to make the audience laugh at least once.

I see that many people appreciate the idea and the plot of the movie but I think it was only average. Yeah if u like stories about losers in society a bit exaggerated, go and watch this movie but if you are just an average watcher then think about it first. The story itself is actually bad. First you think someone is dreaming because it just so unreal and in the second half you wonder if the movie is about crime and gangsters. The acting was alright though, would have been hard to make the movie worse than it already was.

The movie is just not convincing enough to make you think about it very long. It didn't make too much sense for me either.

I give it a 2/10 because it was at least kind of about a problem of society.
