Kevin Can F**k Himself: Allison's House (2022)
Season 2, Episode 8
10/10
Perfect ending to this series!!
6 October 2022
Not a spoiler, but it was fitting to see the "real" Kevin. Brilliant series!! I thoroughly enjoyed the show, such an interesting way to tell a story. I was originally a little out off by the "sitcom" parts of the show, but came to appreciate it. I truly hated every scene Kevin was in, but it was necessary for the audience to hate him. Loved seeing the friendship develop between Allison and Patty. I'm glad they didn't drag the show on for way too long, 16 episodes was just right. Annie Murphy is a great comedic and dramatic actress. Again, this final episode was a perfect and fitting ending! Bravo!

The Sandman (2022– )
10/10
Brilliant, entertaining and amazingly cast!!
13 August 2022
My husband has been talking to me about The Sandman comics since we first met and he has eagerly been anticipating the show since it was first announced. I'm not a comic book reader at all, but am enthralled by this story, so much so, I have watched several of the episodes more than once (my favorite is "The Sound of Her Wings." I absolutely love the casting, even not having read the comics, know that it is spot on and so well done.

All the negative reviews are from people complaining about "woke" and the gay & lesbian characters. These people are just extremely narrow minded and childish. Also, those complaining about all the time and "realm" jumps are too simple minded to "get" a story like this one anyway.

Our household cannot wait for season 2 and a continuation of this wonderfully entertaining story.

Enjoyable romcom/horror

The acting by Sebastian Stan and Daisy Edgar-Jones was really great for a low budget movie. My husband and I enjoyed it a lot, but I can say I'm a little put off eating meat for dinner tonight lol!

Just watch it if and don't take it seriously.

So glad I am not in the dating pool anymore!

Wow! If you like scary, this is for you
23 February 2022
Not sure what all the hate is about, but if a show scares me enough to have to watch a comedy before falling asleep, I'm in! I was totally freaked out after watching the first episode just before bed last night, so I had to watch something JOT scary right after. Watched episode 2 on my lunch break today. Can't wait to see how this creepy good story unfolds!!

Captivating show in the midst of a real pandemic
6 January 2022
I don't understand all the hate for this show and how people seem to be confused over the timelines. In the times we are currently living, this show provides insight into how much worse our current times could have been.

I am only halfway through episode 5, but it had me hooked in episode 1. The acting is well done, as is the scenery of the future, 20 years out from the end of the world as the characters knew it. I love how the characters all seem to have a connection and cannot wait to see how the rest of it plays out.

Why all the negative reviews?? It's a great take on an apocalypse!
14 September 2021
I just started watching this last night and instantly became invested. It's thought provoking in many levels. The cast does a wonderful job portraying the a confusion and resulting anguish when all of the male species drops dead. I'm only on the 3rd episode, but anxious to see where they take it.

My reviews for all 3 movies. They were highly enjoyable and gave me plenty of jump scares!! I love how 1666 put it all together, giving me many "aha!" moments.

Well put together, acted, and all around fun!!

Excellent addition to the MCU

What a great movie. My bf and I saw it this afternoon and were not disappointed. I really don't understand the bad reviews! Scarlet was amazing as always and Florence was a perfect addition to the cast, she had some great one liners.

All in all, a very enjoyable film and so worth the wait for the big screen!

Great action packed sci-fi movie!
7 July 2021
I had my doubts, but I was not disappointed! Watched it by myself Saturday afternoon. The movie is fast paced and so well done! Convinced my boyfriend to watch it (who reluctantly watched only because of Pratt), and he couldn't believe how good it was! I'm glad I got to watch it twice, it was thoroughly enjoyable!

Why all the hate? It's FANTASTIC!!
15 May 2021
The Nevers has quickly become one of my favorite shows!! I don't understand all the hate for it. If it's not your cup of tea, then move on and watch some boring show on network TV with the same plot every week The acting is impeccable, the costumes are beautifully done, and the story has me hooked.

Don't listen to the critics!
15 March 2021
I think people are forgetting that this movie is based a a semi-autobiographical novel written by Nico Walker. I first heard about this movie when my boyfriend had to remove some wires that were in the way for a scene they were filming back in early December of 2019. As Tom Holland fans, we were eagerly anticipating the release of this film. It's gritty, hard to watch at times, and highly emotional. The acting by Tom Holland and the rest of the cast was very well done. I've read reviews with titles saying if you're a veteran you're going to be angry. But again, this is based on a real life account of an Iraq veteran dealing with his PTSD after coming home to Cleveland. As a Clevelander, it was also interesting trying to recognize where some scenes were shot. The Russo brothers love their home town and we are grated they filmed it here, not elsewhere. Bottom line, don't listen to the critics. Superb acting by Holland and a wonderful adaptation of the book.

Scary good!

Found this on Netflix just a few days ago and was quickly hooked. As a 49 yr old woman who loves horror, I found myself almost too scared to watch some scenes, especially episode 5. I almost had to fast forward some scenes 🤣.

Yes, it's THAT good!
22 October 2020
First of all, I had zero interest in watching this show. Saw all my friends on Facebook talking about it and still had no interest. My boyfriend started watching and said it was so good and he wanted to watch it with me. I agreed since we really don't have does we watch together. Boy, did I get hooked halfway through episode one! It's funny, well written, and elk acted, and well thought out. I was quickly in Team Johnny. We are both in our late 40's, so maybe it's a little nostalgia for both of us. It definitely has that 80's movie feel in a current day setting, complete with 80's music (even 80's movie background music), but it's fun and hooks you in quickly! We just started season 2 and have a hard time shutting it off to go to sleep. Highly recommended, especially for anyone who grew up in the early to mid 80's.

Very under rated thriller!
16 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this movie for the first time again today In probably at least 10 years. I had forgotten how much I love this movie. The acting (sans bad southern accents) is superb. Charlize Theron draws you in and your heart breaks for her. Her acting is so good, you really believe she is genuinely losing her mind. Al Pacino is charismatic and has some great one liners. Keanu has a subtle way of making you believe he is truly naive as to what is happening to him. Oh, and that ending is quite the twist, leaving you to wonder if this will be a continuous cycle with Kevin's 'vanity.'

As a huge Mindy Kaling fan, I started watching it as soon as I read about it. It's so fun, smart, funny, charming and heartwarming. The humor is very Mindy!! This 49 year old really enjoyed it and am praying for a 2nd season.

I actually didn't realize this was the season finale as it was just ok. I went to watch the new episode on my dvr tonight and had to look up the show to find out that was it till next season.

A lot of great episodes this season, but I guess I expected more from the season finale.

Don't believe the haters! We loved it!
28 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I grew up on the original trilogy. My daughters are now 19 and 22, and grew up on episodes 1, 2 and 3. We all went to see TROS and we LOVED it. Didn't expect the Palpatine twist! Well done!!! Wonderful way to end the Skywalker saga. What a fitting tribute to Carrie Fisher as well; all 3 of us sobbed. I can't understand the haters...did we even watch the same movie???

LOVE this show!!
19 February 2019
First of all, you idiots that think "David" is a teenager obviously haven't watched the show as it's hinted to many many times that he's in his early 30's. I started watching this as just a "filler" when I didn't want an hour long drama. I was hooked after 2 episodes and even watch while on the treadmill frequently laughing out loud causing me to get glances at the gym. I absolutely love all the characters, but especially Alexis and David, their mannerisms crack me up!! The show also has its "aaawww" moments and I'm loving the character development as I continue my way into season 4. Bravo! Now Netflix has to hurry up and get season 5 online!

Very fun and sweet! A new must watch for us yearly!
25 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this tonight with my 21 and 18 year old daughters. We all loved it! We were laughing so hard at times we had to rewind as we missed some dialogue. Kurt Russell was a funny, modern Santa...perfectly played! The story itself was also very heartwarming and well acted. Loved the little twist at the end, too, with Goldie Shawn as Mrs. Claus! We certainly hope that Netflix brings this sure fire classic back every year!
