Six Feet Under: Everyone's Waiting (2005)
Best Ending for one of the Best Series on TV
What a series wow!! especially what a ending! I didn't expected to end like this, but for a show about death, is fitting, brilliant, emotional, beautiful. First seasons were a little boring, but then you meet the Fisher Family and everybody related to them. 'Everyone's Waiting' is one of the best endings of all time. It's as good as 'Felina'.Honestly I can't compare Six Feet Under with Breaking Bad, because are too different to compare and there is no point to start doing it. Breaking Bad is a crime drama and dark comedy. Six Feet Under is a comedic drama, more drama than comedic. I love both shows in their own genres, but my heart prefer Breaking Bad, but this one would in my top 3. Across the seasons we've seen the Fishers' problems and how they get over them, and finally the message Alan Ball sent to us is that we must live with people that we love and care and like to stay with. Finally, Fisher Family is happy, and also the people who has experienced this incredible show. I will miss it and the Fisher Family too. Shame that the Emmy voters don't like shows focused on death. That's why any actor (apart from Patricia Clarkson) has never won an Emmy. Everybody needed one, but especially Frances Conroy. Wow what a magnificent actress. Michael C. Hall has shown that he can play the character that he wants and does it perfectly. Love both David Fisher and Dexter Morgan. I love more Dexter Morgan but David Fisher is stunning too. Love this series, WORTHY OF AN EMMY!!.
Monk (2002)
Mr Adri and Monk's review
-I liked this show since the beginning and the end was just as satisfying as the whole series. There a few American Comedies that I like, and Monk is one of them. It's not a sitcom as Malcolm, Two and a Half Men or Big Bang, It's Sherlock Holmes + Obsessive Compulsive Comedy, even the series finale wasn't funny at all, but was very good.*Spoilers* Finally Monk found out his wife's killer, and wrapped up with a happy ending. Trudy led a perfect gift for Monk and it wasn't Resurrection, it was a daughter. He was broken inside since Trudy's death and when he found out who was her killer and met her daughter, he was happy again. And the most important, he said goodbye to his compulsive disorder. The whole series mixed perfectly the detective cases with comedy and was very funny sometimes. And of course Tony Shalhoub, a master of comedy. If anyone else would have played Monk, I wouldn't like it at all. 3 Emmys weren't enough. He deserved for the last season, but he didn't win so, doesn't matter. Thank you to Bitty Schram, Ted Levine, Jason Gray-Stanford and most important apart from Shaloub, Traylor Howard who was Monk's butler, literally. But he didn't treat her as a butler, also as a friend, which also found out in the end. Thank you for 8 seasons of Shaloub, crimes, and comedy. I'll miss it.
Breaking Bad (2008)
Best TV Show ever
-I used to prefer Dexter, but the last seasons just sucked and made the show to be not perfect like Breaking Bad is. Breaking Bad's seasons are all good ones and it gets better and better and better and better and better. The cast is perfect. Just pick the perfect actors for the roles. Bryan Cranston it's the shoulder of all the show. He brings the tension, comedy and drama that makes Breaking Bad what it is. Walter White A.K.A Heisenberg is my favorite character of the show and maybe history of television. But it's not just Bryan also the other shoulder, Aaron Paul. The chemistry between them it's perfect like all in this show. Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, RJ Mitte, Bob Odenkirk, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, just everybody in the show is perfect for the roles they play. Still thinking why Mad Men won over Breaking Bad 2 consecutive years for Drama Series. I mean Mad Men is good but far far far far far away from Breaking Bad. Now that have won 2 Golden Globes, I cannot wait for more awards. Specially the Emmys, yeah I think it will win all the Emmys in each Category. Bryan Cranston for Lead Actor, Aaron Paul for Supporting Actor, Anna Gunn for Supporting Actress, Drama Series and maybe Directing and Writing for its best episode 'Ozymandias' 5x14. Just love the Show and hope Bryan won his last Emmy in August. Perfect ending by the way, Bitch!
Homeland: The Star (2013)
The end.
-This is the end of Homeland, even it's just the end of the third season it's looks like a series finale. *Spoilers* The story of Homeland has ended with Brody dead so I figure writers will star over again with a new story. I like Brody's death but I think they could led him alive a few seasons more, or killed him in the second season like they were thinking of. Showtime make many twists in two series that are one of my best: Homeland and Dexter. *Spoilers* In Dexter, they don't led Dexter die. In the second season of Homeland they did the same with Brody. But now they killed him off. Anyways, this season was weak in the beginning but then started to recover the tension that the first two seasons led. From the episode 8 till the end was like the first two seasons. Claire Danes deserves another Emmy like always. Still shocked for her snub at the Globes. Also Damian Lewis even he didn't appeared in too many episodes, and Mandy Patinkin as well. Let's see what writers do know till September.
Dexter: Remember the Monsters? (2013)
Best shows must have the best ending. Not in this case
-All I have to say about the finale is that it didn't fit well with Dexter plot. I have many other possible endings for the best TV show ever, 100000000 endings that could finish Dexter's legacy how it deserved. Michael C. Hall's performance was perfect like always also Jennifer Carpenter's and Yvonne Strahovski's. The true Dexter nemesis was not Saxon, was Scott Buck. But all the fault is not just writers' is also Showtime, because it didn't let Dexter die, which I'm sure it would have been a much better ending and without Dexter's death there was a reduce number of ideas. Even if Dexter would have killed himself in the hurricane it would be acceptable and maybe could finish well. But that stupid lumberjack scene didn't made it well, the opposite, made it worse, much worse. I don't hate the finale like many other 1000000 dexter fans but I don't like it either. I like the scene of Dexter killing Saxon with the pen, also the airport scene with Hannah, Harrison, Dexter and Elway, also the scene when he throws deb to the ocean like the other victims, it was poetic, it meant that the only person who dexter loved and cared about, died, because of him, like Rita, like Vogel, like Harry, like Zach. I always imagined Dexter being caught, or killed, or both. What I don't understand is that Deb was supposedly to be 'fine' in the beginning of the episode, but then, making an nonsense twist, Deb was brain dead. Lack of ideas maybe? Well I'll always remember Dexter because of the incredible seasons it have. I like all seasons 1,2,3,4,7, 5 was not that masterpiece but wasn't bad, 6 is so so but got better in the final episodes, and the season 8 was just bad and anti-climactic that it's the worst season of all of them. And the ending well, it could be so so so so so much better and it could been worse, but was a disappointment so, just the first 7 seasons. I don't know if Michael C. Hall could have the last chance to win an Emmy. But because of a so bad season is very hard to predict it even to be nominated. Well, at least Breaking Bad satisfied well with a perfect ending. Thank you Dexter for 7 seasons of 125 killings, humor, suspense, drama, directing, writing, Michael C. Hall and cast. I will not forget that.
Breaking Bad: Felina (2013)
Best shows must have the best ending. Thank you Breaking Bad
-Now I ended the show I'm glad and satisfied with the conclusion, and I will look for other endings of other shows and If those of them are as good as this one. I already though that Walter White would die, because of the cancer or someone killed him, I think it's the second one but completely in a different way. He gets shot with the machine he created so, his death was on his hands and he also predict his death. During the premieres of both seasons, 5.1 and 5.2 we saw hints of the Finale 'Felina', by the way is one of the best episodes of the series and history, but we didn't know that until we watched it. This is the perfect way Heisenberg, his family Jesse and his nemesis ended and I cannot think of a better ending. When all seemed to be lost in the ending of 'Granite State' Walter completely changed his mind in the last minute for being caught, because Heisenberg doesn't give up. The moment of the Charlie Rose interview was the moment when he realized that he wasn't a good person any more and accept the person who really became, Heisenberg. We don't know if Skyler, Flynn and Holly receive Walter's blood money, but I think it will be. All the seasons of the series were just perfect especially the last one. I'm agree with the 99.9% of the people who rates this series with 10. It deserves it. Has both part, comical and dramatic and both are perfect, even we don't see too much funny moments in the series, but there are a couple of ones It's obvious that Breaking Bad will win all the awards, Emmys and Golden Globes the next year. Like he said in 'Blood Money' he won't go to jail alive, and the last scene was one of the perfect ones if it's not the perfect of the series even in history. Thank you for all the time I spent watching this perfect show with the perfect direction, perfect writing and perfect acting and I am so glad to know now the complete story of the drug kingpin, Heisenberg. Bitch!
Breaking Bad: Ozymandias (2013)
Best episode of the series
-There are many episodes that remark this series as the best one after Dexter in my opinion for example: Season 4 finale 'Face Off' 4x13, the 'Pilot' 1x01, 'Phoenix' 2x12, 'One Minute' 3x07, Season 5.1 Finale 'Gliding Over All' 5x08 but this episode 'Ozymandias' 5x14 has everything. Perfect Acting, Perfect beginning, Perfect Ending, Pefect Twists, Perfect Writing, and Perfect Directing. Thanks to this episode Bryan Cranston would win his forth Emmy next year which is his episode's best performance, also Anna Gunn, and maybe Rian Johnson to make this masterpiece, and also the writers. Aaron Paul would win too but not for this episode, though his performance in this episode is very well anyways. The flashback from the first season got one of the keys of the episode, 'Holly'. This episode says that all Walter has done means nothing, all He did to protect and provide for his family has gone. Jack's gang took every single barrel with every single dollar for a year of work and lies and killed Hank, but because of Walter. Marie told Skyler that was time to tell Flynn all the truth. Walt destroyed his family at a point in which Skyler tried to hit him even kill him with a knife and the disappointment of his son. For revenge, he took Holly away from his home and run away. But he changed his mind after the conversation with Skyler and all he did. He left Holly in the fire station which would inform to the police and bring her to home. Walter went away of the city with his revenge edge on his eyes, and with 11 million dollars. This is without doubt THE EPISODE of the series and one of the best in TV history.
Dexter: The Getaway (2009)
Best episode of the series
-First to say that I never imaging this ending at all and when I saw it I just completely knew why won the Emmy for Directing 'Steve Shill'. Dexter 'Michael C. Hall' always kills his victims in just seconds after investigating them about some evidence to prove they are guilt of a murder. But with Arthur Mitchell or Trinity Killer 'John Lithgow' it wasn't in that way. He was worried about the idea of how his family would be after years living with him and with his dark passenger, so Trinity looks to Dexter like a 'mentor'. He screwed up everything when Trinity followed him to the Miami Metro Police Department and discover his real identity. 'Hello, Dexter Morgan' were the worst words which Dexter wanted to hear from Trinity's mouth. It forced him to look for an opportunity to king nap him and kill him but the things got worse and worse. Miami Metro Police were investigating Trinity as the same time Dexter wanted to kill him. For the entire season, Harry told messages about his family and if he would be able to live the family life, and the killing life at the same time. So after Debra, Masuka, Quinn, Batista and LaGuerta found Dexter in Trinity's Harry told Dexter to leave his family and go away. Dexter loved his family and he wanted to take care of them forever he was ready for that, so he didn't wanted to leave them and go away, especially if Trinity was out there. And the other big moment of the episode was when Debra seemed to told Dexter that she knows who really was. She knew that his biological mother Laura Moser was with his adoptive father Harry Morgan and knew that the Ice Truck Killer was his blood brother and nothing else that's it but Dexter was really scared about what was gonna tell him. After Dexter and Rita talked about the honeymoon and the kids went to Disney World Dexter just had two things to do, Find Trinity and kill him. Dexter finally found him in the act of leaving the city and disappearing. After a whole season to kill Arthur at last kill him. He was imaging when he was in the ocean dropping Trinity's parts of body how his life would become and was normal until he came home. In the last second Rita came home to get her identification but, someone left Dexter a big surprise. Rita was dead in the bath tub and Harrison in the ocean of blood of her, just like the death of Dexter's Mother. He realized for sure that he was the responsible for the Rita's Death and that he couldn't kill and have a family at the same time. That's why Harry said him that killers are always lonely. The Biggest Twist and shocking moment of the series that makes this episode the Best of the series in my opinion.
Dexter (2006)
One of the Best Shows on TV
-Well, there are a lot of things to say about this show the first would be that is one of the best on TV show ever. Why? Michael C. Hall and cast performance, original storyline, well-direction and writing, messages that the episodes bring and black humor will answer that question. Thanks to Jeff Lindsay also. If I could review the show by percentages it would be: *Michael C. Hall's performance: 40% *Cast and crew performance: 30% *Storyline, direction, writing... : 30%
Of course Michael C. Hall's performance, he is without doubt the best actor on the best show on TV. I'm so disappointed that Michael C. Hall has NEVER WON AN EMMY!! Even in the fourth season that was after the second the best season and he deserved it at least in 2010. I would be so glad if Bryan Cranston would have lost that year and Michael C. Hall would took the Emmy and this year Bryan Cranston would have won instead of Jeff Daniels. Everyone is happy, ha ha. Anyways, it would be a hard prediction and hard to make it real but I would say that Michael C. Hall could be nominated again next year, don't know if for season 7 or 8, but would be great. Honestly, he has no possibilities at all to win next year because of the so so final season, but who knows?. Also Jennifer Carpenter, C.S. Lee, David Zayas, James Remar, Desmond Harrington, Lauren Velez, Julie Benz, Aimee Garcia, Geioff Pierson and the guest actors have all very well performance but Michael C. Hall is the piece of the puzzle that makes the whole series. I like all seasons honestly though sixth is not such a masterpiece season is not bad especially on the finale but the eighth season have lost little quality. Like I said about Michael C. Hall and his incredible number of Emmy wins I say the same for the show in the drama series category. It have lost against Mad Men and not one year or two, four!. Well that's the summary of what I think about this great show. I hope Michael C. Hall would be recognize for his work and I hope he make a new show/movie that would remark him, but nothing will remark him than his character Dexter Morgan, and yes, more than David Fisher.
