The Whispering (1995)
Bored To Death
The Whispering (1995) is one of the most boring movies of all time in my opinion. Former child star Leif Garrett has the charisma of an artichoke in this obscure 90's "Horror"movie. His performance seems like he had taken a fist full of Valium before every scene. As far as horror movies go it's barely a horror film due to the emptiness of this uninteresting script and completely dull scenes. This movie was so dull I was really only fixating on Leif Garrett's seriously receding hairline.
As a VHS collector I buy alot of horror, and this one is going into the bowels. Of my collection. Never to be seen again.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
A Farce of Mysoginy
All the Men in this series are either disgusting or pure cringe, this show has a spiteful attack against an entire genger. Jennifer Walters isn't a strong female character role model, nor is she likeable. Being told constantly men are evil in this series I think impacts young male children and is a dangerous thing. Superheroes should truly inspire, not punch people down. She Hulk is really bad,and a failure, skip it,save yourself the agony!
She-Hulk also fails of visual effects and pacing,it's all over the place of clunky humor and failed moments of meaning. She Hulk makes me want to look forward to DC Movies, and that hurts as a Marvel fan for decades.
Audacity (2015)
This Movie is the Devil's Work
A movie promoting and encouraging hatred toward gay people. A movie made by the Devil himself to lure people who claim to love Jesus to hate people different from them. And it works for the weak minded for those who already have evil and hate in their heart. A evil and disgusting movie from hell.
Welcome to Death Row (2001)
Truth Was The Case They Gave Us
A documentary that I watched 20 years ago and still feel that it stands on the truth and sincerity watching it today in 2022. I highly recommend this documentary for anyone who loves a good true story.
Ms. Marvel (2022)
I Gave it a chance, ugh it's Cringe.
I truly gave this a chance but couldn't get past even episode 2. The main character is so annoying and eye rolling, its just torture to watch. It's something I think even tweens will think is bad and immature. Marvel is truly going down the tubes, atleast Spiderman is still good, might be thanks to that Sony interferes. And that's scary.
The Gringo Papi (2022)
Painfully Unfunny
I strongly believe this is the worst comedy special of all time. This "comedian" is so terrible I was cringing in torture. Save yourself the pain and avoid this hacky unfunny comic.
Hot Tub Party Massacre (2016)
The Worst Movie I've Ever Seen!
This "Movie" is beyond terrible,it's cringy bad. The DVD cover was the best thing of this eye rolling embarrassment. I couldn't even make it 30 minutes before I had enough. A movie to just avoid and pretend never happened.
Death House (2017)
Possibly The Worst Horror Movie Ever
What a waste... cool premise but this movie is so bad,and in amatuer land its cringy. I love Kane Hodder & Barbara Crampton but they are being prostituties being in this embarrassing trash. This movie isn't fun bad,its bad bad. Save yourself the pain.
Sky Bride (1932)
It Isn't Wings (1927) but it still Flys
Richard Arlen gives a damn good performance as a stunt pilot dealing with loss and guilt. His chemistry with Jackie Oakie really works and the story moves at a decent pace.
Arlen starred with Clara Bow in the classic Wings about pilots in World War 1 but this movie seems forgotten. Hard to find but worth the time if you can find it.
The Mysterious Mr. Wong (1934)
So Boring Even Bela Can't Save This One
Woof this was dullsville, a bunch of things happen in this movie and none of them are interesting or memorable. Even Bela Lugosi can't save this cheap B movie. Bela always gives his all and he is the only highlight of this movie that feels more like a cheapie serial.
Only for Lugosi fans like me who want to own every Bela movie, good or bad.
If you don't love Bela Lugosi skip it and avoid a hour of yawning.
Pick-up (1933)
Easy To Fall In Love With Sylvia Sidney
Pick up is a truly great Pre-Code movie. The actors make you care about the characters and the story keeps you interested and engaged. I'm presently collecting all of Sylvia Sidney's movies from the 1930's and in my opinion this is one of her finest. Sylvia Sidney's beautiful kind face will make you love her and care about what she is facing.Check it out if you love Pre-Code.
Ladies of the Big House (1931)
Sylvia Sidney Makes a B-Movie become a A-Movie
Ladies of the Big House (1931) is worth hunting down. Never getting a official DVD release Sylvia Sidney gives her all with those big soulful eyes and deep vulnerability balanced with real strength. This Pre-Code drama could have been a throwaway movie but all the actors make you deeply care about what they are facing.
This movie balances heart,a compelling story and Pre-Code drama at it's finest. A obscure movie I hope more people discover and see it's value past it's exploitation sounding title. It's so much more.
Goldie (1931)
Jean Harlow In a Happhazrd Remake
Jean Harlow is my favorite actress of all time,if I could travel back in time and make a play for her I would, so it kills me to say Goldie (1931) Just isn't very good. And it's not her fault.
This is a remake of a much better movie called A Girl in Every Port (1928) staring Louise Brooks & Robert Armstrong. Sadly Goldie is Uneven and pumped full of forced comedy that just doesn't work. Jean & Spencer Tracy do their best but they are given a lesser version of a much better movie concept.
If you can find a copy (Like I did) the quality of the print shot off a film festival screen many years ago doesn't help the experience. But it still has value because Harlow & Tracy always gave their all, even in a lesser film.
Only for Jean Harlow or Spencer Tracy mega fans.
Dangerous Curves (1929)
Clara Bow Sexy & Charming as Always
Dangerous Curves (1929) is Clara's second talkie and she really carries the movie. The male lead isn't very strong or very likeable but Miss Bow makes up for any shortcomings with her charm and likeable vulnerability.
Dangerous Curves is a must own for any Clara Bow fan.Pretty rare on dvd, never getting a official DVD release, but worth getting a hold of if you love the IT girl like I do.
