I Don't Regularly Give 10's
26 July 2023
The only thing I need to say is Kiefer Sutherland is in THIS. That should be enough to sell this, but let me tell you that this show will keep you guessing throughout the series. I had to watch it twice because I kept missing things. The 2nd time through I paid close attention and WOW! This is a show, that if you like shows like 24, you will love this. I can not recommend it anymore than that. The writing was Grade A and the acting was very well scripted. If you watch this show, and when it is over if you are not stunned and satisfied with it, then check your heartbeat because you may not be alive.

I Am On My 3rd Time Through The Past Seasons.......
4 July 2023
And it just gets better every time. The comedy is spot on, the realism of how the world is actually turning, and the charisma and balancing of the actors tops off the whole thing. Season 3, Episode 1 is one of the best. It shows how black people are really treated by SOME of the police due to their good ole boy ways. It happens way more often than we think. I hate to make this a political thing, but really this episode shows the world without makeup. I know showing these types of types of episodes will not make it all go away, but it does it's job of keeping the awareness alive. I would give anything for all of us to get along and treat each other with the respect we reserve. Aside from all of that, you will not be disappointed at the interaction of Dave and Calvin, Tina and Gemma, and the boys, Grover, Malcolm, and Marty. It is up there with one of the best.

Ben Was A Tad Off, That Aside This Is A Great Movie!
9 June 2023
Ben Affleck's acting is either super great or kind of phoned in. This movie is a first for me, in that even though he kind of went off and on, it really didn't take away from great direction, overall acting, and the story. I was entertained, kept on the edge, and got completely mind-blown with being tricked and surprised. William Fichtner is of course amazing. He is my # 3 favorite actor. If he is in it; I am watching it. Not to take away from the rest of the cast, they did fine. This is the kind of movie you will love, if you like movies like Identity, Memento, or Inception. Keeps you guessing all the way.

This Show Is Amazing! A Must Watch For Anyone
17 May 2023
Leverage is a show that has a certain magic about it. You start watching it, and next thing you know you are binging your butt off. The characters on this show, each one is better than the other. You will have your own favorites, but you have the Mastermind behind all of their con's, played by Timothy Hutton. You have the hitter, Eliot. You have the grifter, Sophie. Then there is the hacker, Hardison. Last but not least the most beautiful blonde I have ever seen (and I am partial to brunettes) Parker as the thief. Everytime I try to figure out which is my favorite, doesn't matter because it changes every time. They compliment each other so well, so that as a group, they are on fire. The stories are original and super interesting and if you are like me, you will watch this show over and over again. I couldn't even tell you how many times I have watched this, but so much that my wife is surprised when I am watching something else. If you like great characters, exceptional storylines, and surprise endings, this is the show for you.

Worth The Watch "Way Better If Tim Hutton reprised his Role"
17 May 2023
The two season show that continues from the original Leverage, is worth the time to watch. The stories are not just as entertaining as the original, but they are pretty original in the comparison. With the exception of Timothy Hutton, the whole cast was back and in their usual locked down form. I watched every episode, but it is not one I can bring myself to watch over again. The original Leverage I watch over and over and each time it commands my attention like it was the first. Start out with Leverage if you haven't seen it yet (you will not be disappointed) and after you get bummed out over realizing there are no more episodes after the last, then watch Redemption. The way they pull off their cons is amazing. Sometimes you never see it coming.

I Am Not Really A Pete Davidson Fan
14 May 2023
Yes, I really never cared for anything Pete Davidson did. I thought he was kind of "not funny" on SNL. My buddy told me about Bupkis and I told him "Not wasting my time". Then I was at his house waiting for him to get ready to go bowling and his wife had it on while I was sitting with her. Come to find out that is how he got me to watch it. I was laughing so damn hard, I went home after bowling and binged it. It is a very good show and this type of show is what Pete Davidson looks like he really has talent. So even if you are like me and don't really care for Pete Davidson much, you will like him in this show for sure.

Star Trek: Picard (2020–2023)
Season 3 Was Worth The Watch, But Don't Get Too Excited
21 April 2023
Well, I struggled through the first 2 seasons of Picard, to get to the final season, which I had hoped would blow me away. Well, it pretty much drug to a halt by using the first 6 episodes just spinning their wheels. The ending was good, the space battles were good, but the writing kind of "stayed home from school" They are also falling behind in most of their shows. It is going to take more than technology to modernize a sci-fi series. The newest generation of people to become writers are really letting us down. I have seen very little on TV or the movies that has made me really think about it for days after.

3rd Time Through This. Better Every Time!
30 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I know that everyone in the world has different tastes and will never agree on a lot of things, so let me help you try to decide if this is for you or not.

I love watching all kinds of sitcoms and comedies, and the range of format and background is all over the place. But I can tell you that if you like family mishap comedy shows, and if you are open minded enough to understand that gay and pansexual people are the same types of people that form our melting pot, than you will love this. Everytime I try to think of who is my favorite character on the show, it always changes. However, Dan Levy puts his lifestyle choices to work making this show explode with laughter. His relationship with the guy that comes along is addicting to root for them and watch them in their growth. I have never seen another show like it to compare to. The Levy's are comedy kings!

This Show Is All Over The Place, But Worth Watching
21 November 2022
When I first started out watching this show, it was funny as Hell. Now it seems like they throw a lot of political stabs throughout various episode. I am not super fond of the not so funny stuff, but after watching the serious shows, I have to say they are not wrong. I have to say that I don't know a lot about Black History since they did not teach anything in school growing up, but I have tried the best I could to learn more everyday. The problem is that as soon as I learn something, I find out it was explained to me incorrectly. The issues they bring up on Blackish seem to corollate with things I fall into line with believing to be true. Things like this should be acknowledged and discussed, not hidden away. I am glad they take the time to do some of these shows. One of my best friends happens to be black, and he disagrees with me. Go figure. HA HA.

I Really Did Not Want To Like This But....
19 November 2022
Since the first preview, when I seen how they portrayed Namor, I was like "Hell No!" However, being the major Marvel Comics fan that I am, I watched it like I do all of the other movies. I have to say that I was quite surprised. The writing was top notch, the acting was way better than it has been in the past few releases, and the effects were great. I even grew to endure the liberties they took with Namor and thought they made it work with their story. I had been getting disappointed in everything after Endgame, but I would have to say that Wakanda Forever gives me hope for what is to come. You might be surprised as well!

A Friend Recommended This Film.... Not A Friend No More!!!!
2 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Wesley Snipes has always been up and down, with the movies he is in. I think this one was a new low for him. The acting was average at best but whoever the producer is on this needs to be blacklisted from ever producing again and get a job with a name tag on his shirt. Just when you think you have the idea of why what is happening, is happening, some other thing happens that does not make any sense or give you an help in trying to figure out why these gunmen keep coming back to life. I would say it is very hard to follow, but really there is no real path to follow anyway. I think that maybe they should do a sequel. I wouldn't normally recommend that on a movie like this, but it would be nice to see them make just a 3-5 min movie blowing the $#!+ out of the first one!
