White Chicks (2004)
10/10
One of my favorite comedies ever
11 March 2024
This is one of my favorites movies ever growing up. First off, don't take it seriously... yes, obviously they don't look like the Wilson sisters. Accept that fact, and the rest of the movie is so funny. Whether it's making fun of rich people, white women, rich white women, black people, etc. The movie does a great job at making fun of stereotypes in a good non-serious, non-offensive way. This movie is great for all races, as well as men & women. If you're someone who gets easily offended, this movie is not for you. If you're white & have a problem with the double standard, I'm understand your point, but calm down, try to put that aside and enjoy the movie.

Disney Jr?
2 March 2024
It seems like they took all the things people loved about the original movie and threw it in the trash, and took the other parts and turned it into a Disney Jr movie. First not sure why they thought that the movie would do good without the original cast. Second, the writing... how did they write all of that and got it approved... who approved the writing, who approved the new animation? Who approved ruining what magic the original movie had? Honestly... this movie is a great example of what you should not do when writing a sequel of a great movie. Nobody wanted a sequel... and what they wasn't a sequel... it was a Disney Jr movie that was worse than a Disney Jr movie.

Did enjoy, but not as much as I hoped
23 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
First, don't expect the cartoon show... it's close but not that close... you will be disappointed if you except the cartoon version. There was some aspects I liked that they added, but there are some I didn't... for example:

The attack on the north was just a distraction... what we really were after was omashu.

Distraction... Distracting who? Boomy knew knew they were coming and even told Aang and the gang. The northern watertribe don't leave their border... so distracting who?

If this has you confused, you are in for some writing that makes no sense.

Some* writing.

Acting on Aang's & Katara's acting aren't great... especially Katara she definitely needs to grow as an actress.

The graphics are good... except the air bending. Sokka wasn't bad, I hoped he'd be funnier, but was at least was at times. Aang blames himself for everything constantly whether or not it's his fault. Like everyone told him the northern watertribe was going to be destroyed, but the ending outcome was up to him... so when the city was destroyed... he blamed himself despite his vision, keoshi, Roku, and the water Avatar (forgot his name), telling him thus was going to happen, but the ending outcome was going to be up to him. Katara is a Mary Su & is already a master before even being taught anything and also never learned healing. Now the worst thing about the show is that Aang never even bothered to learn any water bending... or any bending at all. Like all 8 episodes just watched Katara learn by herself.

Now... everything I did enjoy.

Casting, everyone looks exactly like the show. Beautiful. The acting and story with Zuko & Iroh are great! They did them so well. His sister had more involvement which was done well. Commander Zhao was awesome, they did him very well. The side actors were great. The episode blending was done well. I like how the beginning of episode one felt like Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith... that was really nice. Overall, it was a 7/10 for me, and would be a little upset to see what they will do with a season 2 learning from their mistakes.

If Ursula was the protagonist in a rom-com
27 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was painfully bad with a little bit of awkwardly funny parts. You know Ursula from "The little Mermaid" that was Julia Roberts character if you add a lot more crazy to Ursula, Cameron Diaz is a Pushover, needy, crazy Arel if Arel couldn't sing. The guy isn't great or wonderful, he's not funny, he's kind of a jerk, not considerate at all... honestly he doesn't deserve either woman, but neither does Julia Roberts character. The movie, all the characters are so random and weird, the scenes are everywhere. The intro is weird and unnecessarily long, there are a lot of random singing. Honestly, everything is all over the place and I thought wtf is going on the whole movie... I can't believe I sat through the entire thing. This movie is so unrealistic and crazy. Imagine loving someone who you know someone else more, but love and marry him anyway while also having the person he loves more be your maid of honor and your best friend... yup crazy stupid.

What If...? (2021– )
6/10
It was a 9 for S1, S2 made it a 6
23 January 2024
It was a 9 star rating for me with Season 1, but after watching season 2 it went down to a 6 for me. It seemed like I wasn't watching What if? Season 2, it felt like I was watching the Peggy Carter show... like what if Peggy Carter did this, then this, and this, this too, also this... it was nice and all but like there are thousands of other characters with a multitude of possibilities and you choose the same Captain Carter do several things in a row... it wasn't "what if", it was more like "and this". Aside from that, the stories weren't too bad, but it had advertised as a what if show, and it wasn't for more than half the season.

Wasted potential
27 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Advertising made it seem like this was going to be as good as "Captain America: Winter Soldier", unfortunately it was not. What was seen on the trailers were probably the best parts of the show. The acting was decent, but the fighting, suspension, the intensity, and the writing was subpar and at times were nonexistent. I wanted badly to like this show and it was nothing more than a disappointment. I would've like to have rated it at least a 6/10, but the "ending" was bad and it could've easily been better. The fighting was very short and the writing was very bad. Let's just say on one part, it could've ended quicker, and on the other you'd be telling yourself... "why did he let that happen?". I guess that could be a spoiler, the good guys could've ended it quicker and on another part the bad guy did something dumb. While on the talk of spoilers, some very disappointing deaths happened and I am mad that they are no longer alive in the MCU. Also they put in new characters that I assumed they play a bigger role or have some significance to them and no... just more disappointments.

That '90s Show (2023– )
4/10
Original Cast awesome! The copies... not so much
20 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed the original cast. Kitty and Red are still great, I enjoyed Eric, Donna, Michael, Jackie, Fez, even Leo & Bob were cool too.

The new cast replayed the olds personalitys including some mixes

Leia= Eric & Donna Ray= Michael & Donna Nikki= Jackie Nate= Michael Gwen= Hyde Ozzie= Fez

The Neighbor= Bob & (Donna's Mom)

New cast are not really likable for me. I didn't enjoy the show over all, I skipped to all the parts with the original cast members which was great to see them again, older. They were exactly the same as they were before which was great, but reusing all their personalities in new characters is not good. If it does get renewed for a season 2, I hope they use more of the old cast, and change the personalities of the new cast.
