The Planets: Into the Darkness: Ice Worlds (2019)
Season 1, Episode 5
10/10
A satisfying end to an unexpectedly brilliant series
26 June 2019
Brian Cox is the master of his art. The only bad thing about it is that it ended too soon. I'll admit, 90% of the information given in this series was unbeknownst to me, and that's what kept me engaged every second of this visual and scientific masterpiece.

I think it goes without saying that I will be re-watching this series, and then research more on the solar system, read scientific papers and whatnot.

Thank you BBC Earth.

I watched this after smoking a joint

It is truly astonishing how the information given in the episodes takes me into a deep thought that makes me wonder with my eyes open. I really don't have words to describe how much I liked it.

I am grateful to have watched this.

Very saddened to see this series ruin

Everything is mediocre here, dialogue is laughably bad and the whole narrative sucks ass.

Laughably pretentious.
13 January 2019
It feels like all of the characters are trying to speak in a 'dark' tone, and it fails to add depth to the screenplay because it feels forced.

Every conversation the protagonist has with the side characters looks unnatural because it feels like the screenwriter is trying to put information into our heads. So far I didn't like it. Might give it a re-watch so that I can despise it even more.

TL;DR : Bad acting and screenwriting.

Transcendence (I) (2014)
1/10
pathetic
14 April 2014
Tell me...what do you get when you take a bunch of computer nerds who have no concept of effective storytelling and put them into a room to make a movie...? You get transcendence.

The whole thing is based on special effects. It's a film by people who think half of the cameras running at 300 fps is art...or something.

I am so tired of movies where all that matters is how cool it looks. The plot was ridiculous. At the end of the movie a group of twenty-something guys were exiting ahead of us and one of the guys said, "that was pretty excellent!" I thought, "Well, I guess it's working for its demographic."

So, to everyone involved...give up your gun toting, world-is-an- illusion, horrible filmmaking and go put your money to good use...like film school.

Dhoom 3 (2013)
1/10
over-hyped,grossly under-delivered
20 December 2013
I think I'm the only one tired of usual Indian action films, most are badly acted.I went to see it with friends, tried hard to stay cool and not over-judge the film.My friends didn't like the beginning but I told them it might get better. It didn't.

I found the acting too cheesy especially Katrina she's a terrible actress. And Abishek Bachchan why the hell did they cast him he's one of the worst actors in bollywood.

Let's talk about Aamir Khan's early story,a weird looking child wants to be magician.Again,a mistake casting a talentless kid.I almost left the theater when he spoke I just couldn't stand him.He was too lame to be taken seriously. All my friends agreed.

You'll see most of the reviews here explaining the story, but I won't even bother with it.You want to know the story? Watch some famous Hollywood action flicks, dhoom 3 offers nothing new.

The trailers looked good because there's very few dialog, don't let the action confuse you,the drama scenes are not worth it. I kind of admit I liked the police chase scenes, the locations and the heavy music.Watch it for that don't expect anything else.

Breaking Bad: Granite State (2013)
Season 5, Episode 15

they never run out of ideas...
22 September 2013
Whatever can be said about tonight's episode whatever words can be written, they won't do justice to this hour of television, which is without a doubt the hardest episode of TV I've ever watched.

Every time you thought things couldn't get worse, they did. Every time you thought the lowest point had been reached, it hadn't been.

There was more. It kept coming. It kept finding new ways to be mind- bendingly, soul-churningly devastating. ... So that was stomach-turning to witness, even as I could appreciate that the first third or so of Granite State was one of the most well-written, well-directed and seamlessly edited things I've ever seen.

Grand Theft Auto V (2013 Video Game)

'Bring me my cougher or I'm gonna cut your arm off!'

Warning: Spoilers
Trevor is just love!! He has these tough guy looks and energetic and humorous dialog that makes him better than the other two characters. I think I'll spend the first few weeks playing only him before Michael and franklin.I laughed so hard when he was shouting at the cops chasing after him,he isn't much of a hot-headed guy, he's cool most of the time(at least for the time I was free roaming). Most of the gta fans see him as a sociopath but I think Michael deserves to be called that too.A big thumbs up to the voice actors for bringing life into these characters.

I started exploring the massive world GTA V offers and I must say the craftsmanship is simply stunning. It is clear that it was designed and implemented by people who really wanted to produce something that was revolutionary, and without skimping on the details. It seems almost limitless. From AI cars flashing their high beams when you're driving on the wrong side of the road on a collision course with them, to the seamless integration of the radio stations with the world you're in, to . . . well, a dozen pages could be written on the details alone.

The world is massive! If one word could sum up the game I think it would be 'detail'. Every aspect of the game is as detailed as possible and it is easily the best game ever made respective of the technological possibility in 2013. For instance, the AI of the people walking down the street is almost creepy, it seems like these are living people. The dialog is truly impressive, I believe that this game could compete with some of the best films around.Fantastic acting, worthy of film awards, breathtaking graphics, beyond realistic physics, and just enthralling game-play make this the first truly next-gen game that goes beyond just better graphics, pushing the limits of what I thought was possible.

Rockstar is genius for a making this game so immerse, so realistic, but yet manages to keep that funny, satiric GTA feel. Congrats Rockstar, you deserve your success.

Breaking Bad: Ozymandias (2013)
Season 5, Episode 14

not what you might expect...
14 September 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I will keep this review free of spoilers and I will especially not discuss the beginning of this episode so feel free to read if you haven't watched it. All I can say is I read each and every theory posted on IMDb on how this episode will begin but trust me,most of them turned out to be not true. We were left on a cliffhanger, the most intense cliffhanger in the entire series, the lives of the main characters were on the line. I see fans all over the IMDb board raving about their favorite character and posting about who they want to see die, cussing Jesse for ratting on Walt and much more, that's because breaking bad is so well written it feels almost real. The writers of this show are absolute geniuses. Frankly speaking, it surprises me how they are able to achieve these new heights. Every time a new episode arrives, I am just waiting for the writers to make a mistake. But, every time they are able to wrong me with amazing confidence.

I don't need to tell you guys 'don't miss it' or 'best episode of the season' because we all know every episode is great and there is no way any of you will miss it. Instead,I have a message for anyone who hasn't watched breaking bad ever and is reading this. Like they did with me, people will tell you how great Breaking Bad is; you should listen to them, because they are right. Breaking Bad continues this journey with confidence, compelling story-telling and characters that are written with convincing development and actions. It is great stuff.

To hajilee!
7 September 2013
This episode is ingenious, clever, intense, crazy and overall amazing which is why i felt compelled to write a review.Well done Vince. Very well done. This episode reminded me exactly why Breaking Bad is the greatest show ever. Not saying the last few episodes were bad its just that they weren't The best. This episode was brilliantly written, engaging, and extremely Intense.

There are in fact only four more episodes of this whole series left and I can't even begin to think about what could happen. Not gonna spoil anything but this episode is powerful, psychological and very dramatic and i love how Gilligan succeeded in creating tension with simply drama not just action and fighting.. acting is great as always, nice plot progression and my gut tells me that the next episode is going to be great! I mean I'm starting to feel the same tension i felt in the last few episodes of season 4!

We're beginning to see so much of Gus Fring in Walter White. In the beginning episodes the towel under knees scene, walt being overly- cautiousness, the conversation in the car, hiring assassins, all the qualities of Gus fring we can see walter adopting them episode by episode.

Whoever hasn't watched Breaking Bad, you simply miss the best drama series ever made. Breaking Bad plays in another league. And i watched all great drama series, Mad Men, Sopranos, The Wire.... etc etc. totally different league. The Acting would be Oscar worthy..

Warning: Spoilers
wow ! just wow! We're beginning to see so much of Gus Fring in Walter White. In the beginning episodes the towel under knees scene, walt being overly- cautiousness and now the conversation in the car, hiring assassins, all the qualities of gus fring we can see walter adopting them episode by episode. I just have this crazy feeling in my stomach of how the series is going to end I think I'll scream my guts out. The best scene was walt sobbing after hugging his son it was so intense then he rings up jesse,I think his son hugging reminds him of the desert scene where he grabbed Jesse in his arms. Second best episode of the season 5 part 2! Can't wait for the next week I'm so exited!!
