Jurassic World Dominion (2022)
Admittedly, I am a fan.
Now, hear me out. I am a HUGE Jurassic Park-World fan, I have seen the movies dozen of times each, I absolutely enjoy them and it doesn't get boring to me. I actually really enjoyed this movie too, and there are some things to note:
- it has so many reference scenes to all the movies, so many! It becomes a sort of game, thinking, remembering and trying to figure out if the scene is somewhat similar to any of all the other movies (I counted at least 1 scene per movie, but there could easily be more).
- seeing the most important characters of ALL of the movies here was something else! A nice way to say goodbye to the saga, if you ask me.
- it has a lot of action, as expected, and it kept me on the edge of my seat most of the time. I kept jumping, covering my face, and just being fully there, which goes to show how much of a fan I am (all the friends I went with have not seen all the other Jurassic World movies (just the first Jurassic Park ones) so there's a lot they didn't understand)
With this said, I have seen many amazing (8 or 9 star rated) movies from a technical standpoint, and this movie might just not qualify to be on that list. As a fan? LOVED it, but realistically people will argue it's the same old thing: same old storyline and no development of it, same plot twists as per usual.
So here's my final thought: I love it, I am already planning on going to watch it a second and maybe third time, because as a fan, I just want to say goodbye to my favourite characters and enjoy the end of an era.
Il processo (2019)
So good, it took me two days to finish it.
Yes, I loved it and I cannot wait for season 2!
Lately, I have not watched many movies or TV series but this one captivated me from minute 1. It's so interesting to see how the characters evolve, how the story of the murder comes together and by chapter 8 I was blown away. I was freaking out over that ending and I sure hope there's a season 2 to answer all these questions I have (which will not be shown here since I want to keep this spoiler-less).
Hold the Dark (2018)
Boring.
Looks like a promising movie and it has a good cast. But it's just so boring and so hard to keep track of it. Really slow. Wish I had not lost 2 hours watching it, cause they sure felt like 5.
