BH90210 (2019)

Such a great idea and concept!

I read that lots of people "cringed" with the pilot and "roasted" it and stuff like that and there was a lot of hate because they expected an old fashioned reboot . But after watching it I thought first of all what a great fresh idea ! A show within a show . Scripted reality . Loved the concept , really. And second of all , to all the disappointed fans out there , do you remember after so many seasons of the original 90210 , how much drama we've already watched ? We've watched every possible scenario they can think of . Every possible relationship and hook up. Accidents and deaths , people leaving , people coming back . They changed the main cast so many times , adding people , replacing people . We lived through so much drama it even grew a bit tedious by the end , right? So what exactly were you looking forward to see now ? The same things but with an older cast ? The longer I think about it the more I believe they did the best thing possible with this reboot . It's fresh people ! Stop hating and just watch and feel that 90s nostalgia.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

I want to rewatch it again and again

3 hours went by like it was nothing . It was the perfect movie and the perfect way to end it . Made me laugh , made me stand on the edge of my seat , made my cry . Just amazing . And the Tony Stark scanario (for all the "fans" that are crying in their reviews and giving this epic movie a 1 because their favorite heroes aren't coming back) was absolutely fitting . This franchise started with him 11 years ago and how it ends is so appropriate. Same with Captain America . Whoever brings down the movies rating because of that simply does not get the movie. I'd love to go on and on about how absolutely awesome this movie is but you get it . I'm going to watch it again next week this time on 3D and am very excited . Haters gonna hate as they say but bringing down the ratings is just petty, people .

Rewatched it for 5th time in 2019

I love this movie . I've been watching it since I was a child/teenager and I rewatched it now in my middle 20s and I still love it . It gets me so emotional every time . It's a comedy with a deep meaning that has me feeling delighted and content every time I watch it. And I confess I cry near the end every time . It's not the "ha ha" type of comedy really. It's just a light hearted movie with a few jokes here and there and a good emotional message to pass to the viewers. One of my favorites . The only reason I'm writing this review now so many years later is that I saw the 6.4 rating and I could not believe it . How is that even possible? Maybe from 1s from people expecting to see something else entirely ? What can I say besides how much I still appreciate this movie..

The Upside (2017)

Stop bringing down the rating for no good reason.

I don't usually write reviews but after watching this movie AND having watched the original one too , I felt like I needed to clear something up for the confused people that come here to see the reviews and figure out if the movie is worth watching and why its rating is only a 6. Yes the French original is magnificent, yes it might be better BUT we are not here to compare, we are here to say if THIS particular movie is good and worth watching . And in my opinion it is . It is a remake. It hasn't "stolen" the original script or anything like that . It's an American version with American actors . Why it was made, since there is already a great French one, is not the point . The point is the acting was very good ( I loved the chemistry between them) and the movie made, me and my family at least, feel a lot of emotions and we left the cinema feeling very satisfied with what we watched . So all the 1s or 2s and 3s I've seen in the reviews are just very, very unfair . You want to be resentful because the Americans made another remake of a good European movie ? At least rate it properly like an adult and not like a scorned child. And I am European by the way. I liked both movies and I wouldn't put this one down just because the original was better .

BlacKkKlansman (2018)

Powerful, entertaining movie and should win an Oscar

A lot of people are complaining about the movie being an awkward mix of light comedy and serious drama but personally I thought that, that exactly was its charm . I really enjoyed its tone and it made it easy to watch. Also I enjoyed watching the actors so much that I didn't realize how 2 hours passed . And without wanting to spoil the end scenes , I really really don't get how there are people that felt they were "forced" or "too much" or "out of place". For me that was the BEST part of the movie because there I was , watching a movie about real things that actually happen in the world but because it was in a light manner you kind of forget that it IS real. And so ,queue the end scenes about REALITY ,so close to now, and it was like I was rudely awakened in the most powerful way . I was in tears when the credits rolled . I really want this movie to win an Oscar, I feel like it deserves it .
