Mr. Robot (2015–2019)

Mesmerising...

The show is about the life of the man who is both hacker in nights and IT technician in days. The main character Eliot has also physiological disorders and not much friends except Angela who dates someone he disliked. Eliot is good at hacking instead of making friends and communicating people and he uses his skill for reveal bad guys' secrets on the internet. Also he have to deal with loneliness that beyond an illness and he is abnormally delusional sometimes. He hates society and he disliked illusions of social media and all fake happiness.

Furthermore the thing in the show I loved more is inside voice of the main characters. it reminds me Dexter and his inside and humorist voice and Eliot hold back an item of the his target likewise Dexter's blood samples. Moreover he is just like dexter criminal in nights and normal people in days. Maybe I am exaggerated but the similarities is more than you think. Eliot chooses his target according to some moral codes and he don't give a dame about money too. Another reason why I liked the series more is the purpose of the hacking itself and activist discourse of the hacking group. Also after Mr robot talks Eliot and Eliot mentions about evil corporations, it reminds me Fight Club and culture imperialism.

So that TV show has great potential to expand its scope rather than just tells an hacker's life story. For the first episode I extremely enjoy with it and I definitely recommend the show to you. I'm sure that It is worth it for your time instead of other dummy garbage TV operas.

WPC 56 (2013–2015)

Precious TV series to take some break...

The series is about Gina Dawson's, who is one of the first WPCs(Woman Police Constable), life as female police officer at precinct where dominated by male in West Midlands. Naturally She faces some difficulties as a woman because time is 1950s and it is the peak of the sexism and also awaking of the male protest. WPC 56's genre contains both drama and comedy and also beauty of the Jennie Jacques. There is an aspect, a thing thing that I can distinguish WPC 56 than other TV series. İt is not about the story telling or acting performance. Even I do like the both of them, there is an original shade in TV series. Both TV series focuses the female police officer's life and her life that is made difficult by her family, colleagues and dominant culture ideology of her community at that years, WPC 56 shows us and it take us an journey that how conditions of woman in business are in first. Also it offers us a compression about woman in the field that dominated by male between past and present. Consequently it is a great series to witness an era and discover how the woman rights and woman in business life comes far from past to present. I hope that there are more TV shows like WPC 56. I like that kind of series that there is real cause to makes it. So I rate it 8/10 because it deserves that. Acting, storytelling, scenario and reflection of an era when tells struggle of women are very fascinating.

Marco Polo (2014–2016)

The show has so much potential and love it :)

Firstly, I am very interested in show since I saw first trailer. It was an impressive trailer. Especially Mongolia Empire is always interested for me. First episode's processing and storytelling were very well. Also characters and environment is magical.

In addition main theme is not only Marco Polo and actions but also political atmosphere, wars between Chinese and Mongolia Empire. Also there is an dilemma about what Kublai Khan is, because even though Kublai Khan is seem to depend Mongolia Customs, he has been described like Chinese Emperor. Actually it is little bit disturb me but I think it is make sense, because kings, khans who place chine to conquer were always assimilated.

Compare to other historical and biographical shows like Da Vinci Demons, Vikings, Black Sails, Spartacus, Rome; Marco Polo is first historical show attempt of Netflix and I think it is as good as others. I almost followed all historical TV series except Reign, I've really loved that show. Also in my opinion next seasons show will be improve itself, because scope of TV show is not just Mongolia Empire but also all place and civilizations on silk road

As a result of these, I've always liked epic/ historical TV shows like Rome, Spartacus, Da Vinci Demons, Vikings, and because of the fact that I believe that show has so much potential, I rate it 9 :)

Satisfaction (2014–2015)

quite addictive

Satisfaction has very interesting and unusual plot. Even though scenario is little bit annoying, chain of events are amazing and addictive. Especially secrets between Grace and Neil also Neil's question about his relationships are real power of this TV show. Actually, Satisfaction show us consequences of very common problem in the world that is Married Couples' monotone lifestyles with unusual storytelling and incredible acting. Nonetheless, I have some doubts about continuation of Satisfaction, because when secrets between Grace and Neil are revealed, What would happen, after the revelations unless there will be strong scenario like previous episodes, ıt would be messy. I hope after the sharing or revealing secrets TV show does not lose its unique atmosphere and original storytelling, because everyone knows that TV series like Satisfaction includes clichés at some point. Anyway I am just waiting to find out what will be going on next eagerly and gladly.
