High School Musical (2006 TV Movie)

Oh it was excellent!

It was just sooooo great! So much fun, too!! It's like every high school musical theater junkie's dream. Everyone was just excellent and the directing was superb. And I love the message this movie sends to young minds, that you explore other facets of expression other than the one that's socially acceptable. And I love the little undertones and subtleties throughout the film. And I love how all the tough mean hard guys are CLEARLY dancers in real life. I was muy impressed!! Everything and everyone was perfect. From the clothes, casting, choreography, sets.... it all looks like a dream. And in beautiful clear New Mexico. Who could want anything more!

It was just so great. Ledger, first off, is brilliant! An absolute class act! I just didn't realize he was such a disciplined and skilled actor. I mean, this is heavy British, witty, repartee and he's delivering the lines with such ease. And he totally contorts his body to fit Casanova. Just brilliant.

But the movie! The movie! It was fabulous. Absolutely great! Excellent writing, scenery, excellent! And such a satisfying ending!! A little unbelievable, but satisfying none the less. And the casting was just perfect. Everyone was great, writing and directing and cinematography........ great great great!

Leaving Metropolis (2002)

Great independent film

I was just really able to appreciate this film. Sure there were some lines that I didn't like and and I was a little unclear about some plot aspects and I wished we could have seen what happens to the characters after the film ended. But overall, I really loved the message of the film and the originality of it. This is a film about love, sexuality, and relationships. It was really beautiful. Most of what I must praise highest is the acting. Every single person was casted perfectly for what their unique talents offered. Corazza's is a VERY believable and truthful actor. His acting lends himself to innocence and sympathy -- just what Matt needed. Taylor was brilliant. She exudes power and assurance. And she played every one of her very difficult lines absolutely perfectly. She was perfection. Allison was surprising convincing and excellent. I say surprising because for a man dressed in woman's clothing, this is the first movie where I actually LIKED the character and this character was believable and not a stupid stereotype. Shannon was real person for me. Boyd was absolutely excellent. She seems to be the most experienced and a clear veteran of the art. They were so lucky to get her for this. She's a world-class actress. This had excellent ensemble acting.

This film was just really enjoyable. I really found the writer's (Fraser) commentary to be especially interesting. This film was daring, original, and well-directed. A little unbelievable at points, but enjoyable none the less.

The Rosie O'Donnell Show (1996–2002)

Best talk show ever. Was very sad to see it go. There never will be one just like her. It was wholesome and not trashy or demeaning. I hope Rosie is doing well now. I also miss her magazine. Such hardship she faced. But we should be glad the show lasted as long as it did. Six years right? And SHE is the one who made the choice to end it. I believe she was offered a longer run but she had her family and all. What I really wish is that the episodes could be released on DVD or something. She was also the one talk show host (besides the Regis and Kelly show) to host Broadway acts. And have Broadway stars actually be guest! And she would just have ANYONE on that she wanted! Like Kate Mulgrew from Star Trek Voyager -- TWICE! And she would have people from shows from years past who she just wanted to get to know. And her crush on Tom Cruise and her love of Barbara Streisand were very cute. I MISS IT!
