Bob's Burgers: Family Fracas (2013)
Most F'd up Bob's Burgers episode to date
I thought that a lot of the silly Louise tactics and behavior took the cake, in most of the worst episodes... next to Gene's ignorance (but at least you can write Gene off as "challenged".. but for the clear cheating by Bob's nemesis, Jimmy, with the help of the studio and then the "burning of the tape" in front of the judge.. just too ridiculous. A family that needed and earned the new van. Reminds me of the comic strip "The born loser". No win for this family, no matter the circumstance. Very annoying. What's the entertainment or purpose in watching clearly predictable plots, every show?
Judge Judy (1996)
Conservative? I doubt she voted Trump.
Celebrities that only book on Jimmy Kimmel, The View and Ellen...are not "conservatives". I did notice her nastiness go down a few notches since the 2014, 2015, 2016 episodes. She def has "toned it down". Can be educational... What bugs me the most is this constant interaction with Byrd, as if he were Judge Byrd. His input and consistent reading of the evidence handed to him first are really annoying. NYC scenes, but filmed in LA, but she lives in FL. Hmm
Black Rock (2012)
Waste of time
The all predictable three unarmed, untrained girls take on, after initiating and starting trouble, 3 trained, armed army vets and naturally are able to beat them. Could of told you that 15 minutes into the movie. I suppose the "tittie" shots are supposed to help the male viewers. What a waste of film and effort. Missed Family Guy for this crap that I finally opted out on before ending. Trash.
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015)
Should not have been made
I actually enjoyed the first installment of these movies (Mazerunner).. and I say first because it looks as though they have a long and healthy plan to continue the movie franchise for as long as they can possibly milk it. This movie, Scorch Trials, literally gave me a severe headache. Lots of noise and flashing lights all to no avail. Thank God, this is another movie I was able to catch for free on Xfinity. I was wondering why such a recent movie was being offered for 'free' already, when many others hang in there at a premium rental cost. Now I know. I was almost expecting to see the cast somehow caught again in the original maze or another maze, etc. Nope. It is all about escaping their rescuers, some desert roaming and Thomas' usual ridiculous and unrealistic antics. Not only do you get Scorch Trials, but you are also able to view mini rip off scenes from at least half a dozen different, previous movies. Really embarrassing.. For example: you get some 'Walking Dead' zombies, along with a lot of Walking Dead rip off ideas such as getting infected by a scratch by said zombie, pre-zombies found having committed suicide, using zombies as sport in the betting ring, etc.. You get some Z-nation too where the surviving tribes use zombies as guard dogs, tied up on chains.. You get some Star Wars with their advanced flying machines.. Oh, and some Daywalkers with the harvesting of blood and hanging donors. All that shooting in the end, both helicopters could have easily been shot at and the Dr. could have been killed.. Instead they watch them fly away, then Thomas has the brilliant idea to go after them on foot.. because he is going to take them down..(which leaves it open to a 3rd installment movie).. You really see how much of an Ahole Thomas' character is.. A one man, apparently psychic, maverick with advanced skills and moves (because being abandoned in the elements does that to you).. He spends the entire movie obsessed about the girl, again, only to get betrayed by her. Never mind the remaining survivors barely made it and called any future attempts a suicide mission; evidently Thomas is about to lead them once again. That's one headache I'll skip. Not every novel needs to be made into a movie. This is a prime example.
A Perfect Vacation (2015)
Garbage
Luckily I was able to catch this one on cable, for free. I can not imagine having to have paid for this garbage and waste of reel and time. wow.. some 'once upon a time actors' like Daryl Hannah and Ed Furlong have really been desperate for work lately. Both seem to be grasping for any part the can secure. Second movie recently where you see Daryl Hannah play an overweight psychopath (poorly). Yet another movie where the main character (Billie) who was 'home trained' by her dad how to fight, manages to take out high ranking, special forces trained, killing machine military boys with just her fists and kicks that daddy taught her. Right. Pathetically unrealistic. Should have been an animated cartoon, not a movie. Place it at the bottom of your 'to watch' list, because that is where it belongs.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Really?
That thing (T-1000) had a hundred chances to kill both John and Sarah and didn't do so. It was liquid molten whatever. It had speed, knowledge, strength, etc... and it was defeated? In the end, it would have cut off Terminator's head over that factory grill, not "stabbed" him and left him for dead. (though it would have killed Terminator long before that scene) It would have stabbed Sarah in the eye.. but why even ASK for her to yell for 'John' when he could mimic her voice perfectly (and did so 3 minutes later). So unrealistic. Then a 'magic' gun destroys it? And the end just happens to take place in another weird factory? This time a steel liquid molten factory? T- 1000 was incapable of being destroyed, until suddenly they made it capable. Ridiculous 90s film. You would never see such discrepancies in a similar flick today.. and you don't in the 2015 movie.
Intervention: Casie (2009)
No sympathy
once a successful hairstylist, Casie now works in a small-town salon to fuel her $500-a-week meth habit. Casie's childhood was marred by her mother's drug addiction. Suffering from low self-esteem, Casie became bulimic and an addict.. Gets plastic surgery at age 17 while working for Paul Mitchell and supposedly earning 130k a year. (I can see why she did that.. she could of used some enhancing compared to the other people she was working with).. However, the result was no "Victoria's secret model" like she says it was. Epitome of Trailer Park culture. John (her doormat boyfriend) stands there cleaning her house, running her errands, washing her car, fueling it and takes her orders round the clock because "he sees a future with her".... His own addiction to coke and meth might help his rationale with that one. Talk about embarrassing yourself in front of the entire world. John doesn't look or sound like the sharpest tool in the shed though... completely verbally, emotionally and probably physically abused by Casie. She calls him a dumb-a**. Not sure what she was doing before for Paul Mitchell because they are selective and its competitive to work in those shows and she is far below any backstage standard I have ever seen.. Maybe for the area they were in she worked out.. until of course, she was fired. Her mother Donna? (addict and check fraud person in her own right) What a joke. Her biological father declines to participate? I wonder why. Her step dad WANTS to participate and his wife (Casie's mother) tells him he "can't go" to the intervention. He (Hank) is another loser, obviously, for putting up with both of them. Those poor 2 Dogs I saw in the background.. someone should have called the Humane Society. I wonder if they even had fresh water every few hours or Food! They probably drank from the toilet. Just a shame Casie's rig was never big enough to save everyone from her mess. NO Sympathy for the first Intervention person thus far.. and I've been watching this for years and can always see something in anyone.. NOT in Casie.
I Spit on Your Grave (2010)
pretty vile
I dunno .. but this was one sick movie....... First hour is a sick soft porn.. ..............First of all.. Unrealistic. She would of never been able to set them up one by one like that............. Secondly, there was no "eye for an eye" there. I thought her torturing was above and beyond sick.. Were they sick men, yes.. But she is a psychopath beyond them to think of all the crap she thought of.. She didn't get fishhooks in the eyes or a rifle in the rear.. just kill them. again...sick movie.. I don't understand this rule of 10 line minimum reviews.. You can't be concise enough in less than ten lines? Really ridiculous. All in all a pretty disturbing movie and most definitely not for children to watch. I don't think anyone should watch it.. Trying to erase most of what I saw.
Gulliver's Travels (2010)
Trash
I can't even call this movie mildly entertaining. As a child, "Gulliver's Travels" was one of my favorite novels and comic books. This movie took a classic and completely slaughtered it. It's a shame to think that kids that have not seen or read the original version will think this crap to be the true storyline. Shame. This movie is not supposed to be a comedy. Fine if one attempts to throw a "twist" to the original version, but this was no twist. It was a complete destruction and insult to a historic classic. What an unnecessary account of this story. Adding further insult to injury, is featuring Black to star in the movie. I thought Ted Danson was bad. Black manages to bring this classic story down to new levels of low.
