Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

What an experience

Now I totally understand why they didn't sell the movie to streaming services. This has to be seen on the big screen! I have really been hyped for this but boy it delivered. There are not many sequels to big hits that even come close to the original but Maverick does it and to me it outclassed the first one by an order of magnitude. All while still being true to the old movie and even referencing it in all the right ways.

Don't miss it in cinema. It's worth the ticket price!

For me this bleeds Star Wars from the beginning to the end. I love how much respect this show has for the original material. Please Disney, move on with star wars exactly like this. It has the potential to make us forget what you've done to the Episode 7-9. Although it takes time to trust you with that.

I enjoyed the movie. Don't know the source material. Sometimes this is a blessing when it comes to film adaptions.

Lost (2004–2010)

Rewatching Lost during Corona lockdown

It's awesome how good the series has aged. Seeing it all again also made some storylines make much more sense. I even think the ending makes much more sense now. That's something I was totally blind for the first time I've seen Lost.

It's an awesome series that paved the way for the beautiful landscape of high quality tv series we enjoy today.

Gemini Man (2019)
