I hate this movie but I can't look away. I am so confused!! There's so much happening yet nothing at all. I'm not sure which way or where the story is moving. I'm not finished watching but I still have a few minutes left. I'm sincerely hoping by the end it will make sense somehow. Maybe there is some research I need to do or something. I saw where some reviews referenced a book or comic or series out there somewhere. I need answers because I'm lost. Outside of the confusing story, the movie is shot beautifully. The fight scenes are amazing and the SFX are great. It's not too unrealistic. The girl who keeps changing her appearance has confused me the most I believe. LOL I'm almost at the end of the movie and I'm trying to reach my character requirement. It's still upsetting me because WHAT is happening!? I would watch it again but I don't know if that would help me. I'll have to read a synopsis on Wikipedia or something. Maybe seeing it in writing will help. Lol Sheesh!

It seemed like it could have been a really good movie but it felt like there were some plot holes. By the time it ended I was confused. The storyline really wasn't fluid so there was a lot I couldn't figure out. Plus, I couldn't figure out who some of the characters were. It seemed like a lot was going on and the story didn't get a chance to come together. Not a lot of backstory but plenty of stabbings and shootouts. Lol.
The history between the main character Hoon-su (sp?) and his childhood friend Chul-jin (sp?) wasn't entirely clear and they tried to kill each other several times. I'm still not sure how Hoon-su lived after being stabbed that many times. The friend arranged for main characters stepson to be killed and even the way that played out was kind of clunky...and also sad.
I don't know, maybe it was me but there was way too much going on and they should have just made it TV Show or something to flesh it all out. Missed opportunities here. The story had potential and it seemed rushed even with the 2 hour runtime. Lol
I'm not going to give it a super low rating because it was beautifully shot and the main character had heart. Great acting there. Anyway...on to the next!

I actually enjoyed this one. The cast was a great group of very talented people and I loved the chemistry between the leads. Kim Fields is a legend so I definitely enjoyed watching her. My expectations for most Christmas movies are low because they can be super cheesy. They all follow the same kind of format and somehow the leads always fall in love within a couple of days. I do like that this movie was different in its storyline and some the dynamics of it. I hate when there is a stupid misunderstanding and the leads have a falling out so that they can have a dramatic ending. This one was just a sweet love story. It was believable. Lol Bottom line is that I'd watch it again. Way better than some of them I've watched.

This had the potential to be such a good movie!! It just didn't flow well and the ending sucked! I enjoyed most of it but it definitely had the potential to be way better than it was. The story wasn't smooth and it lacked a certain level of charm or charisma. Like I said...that ended was just horrible. I request a do over or something. 🤣🤣🤣 The way the main character visited the girl to tell her the whole story was weird. Then I was thinking, if he knows the villain so well, why would he tell the girlfriend to come back!? He can't be that stupid. He knew it wasn't safe!! Why did Leon just run into the room like that with no vest? Did he really not think she was going to harm him? What? And then the very last part on the street...I just refuse to believe that the most intelligent and diabolical of them all would really just walk away like that. I'm confused really. I feel cheated and I'm shocked I watched the whole thing through. I guess I was hoping it would get better. Lol.

I had low expectations for this movie. I had heard it was kinda wack so I that made me even more hesitant to see it. I will admit it was a tad bit cheesy but there are certain lines I guess they didn't want to cross so it could be family friendly. It actually was good in a Lifetime or GMC kinda way lol. I enjoyed it! I cried and laughed and I think it had a lot of potential to be better. It wasn't as believable as I would have liked but towards the end I was feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I would see it again but NOT for the $11.00 Regal charged me for it. Unfortunately, Regal Cinemas are the only theaters showing it in my area. Anyway, good movie, great message, OK acting. Go see it!
