Soul (2020)
I EXPECT BETTER
This is one of the movie I was looking forward to watch in 2020 because it's explore more about life. I thought it was gonna be epic but it's.... okay. It's good but not Pixar's masterpiece. Also I hate 22, she's annoying, and I don't feel sympathy for her at all even when the climax. And I prefer Joe stay dead rather than going back to earth.
Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans (2021)
Bad Ending
Honestly, time reset? Are you kidding me? The ending just throws away all character development for the past 6 seasons. And Jim suddenly decides that it's a good idea to give Toby the amulet? Hell no! Don't you dare give him all the trauma and responsibility of being the Trollhunter. You've been a bad friend, Jim. I'm so mad. All this time they told us Jim was chosen for a reason, and now suddenly the amulet didn't choose him? Don't get me wrong, I love Toby but I'm sorry no one can replace Jim as the Trollhunter.
The Kissing Booth 2 (2020)
SHE GOT INTO HARVARD???
Actually the film is enjoyable and refreshing until the end when Elle got accepted into Harvard. It's so unrealistic. Also the part when she kissed Marco and then left him broke my heart. She has no reason to be mad at him, she kissed him first. And then she started to avoid him like damn girl.
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019)
DISAPPOINTMENT
I thought the final one will be even more epic. But I was wrong. It's the weakest of the trilogy, and I feel like it didn't live up to its standards. I don't even know the main focus to this final movie. It should be about "Hiccup letting Toothless go" right? But I feel like this movie is about "romantic partner" rather than focusing "the best friend bond" that they have. I mean, this is a story about "a boy and his dragon", right? The main focus should be about "best friend", right? So, for god sake, please focus more on them! Also Light Fury is very clingy to Toothless. I hate her because she's the main reason Toothless leaves Hiccup. Hiccup's reasons to move Berk to Hidden World is dumb and makes no sense. The wedding scene is pointless. It's not important and add nothing to the story. Why not skip the wedding and show us the Haddock family in the end? After all, we all know Hiccup will marry Astrid sometime in the future without even showing the wedding scene. And the ending oh my good I hate it. It's like fan fiction. I thought they were going to be separated from each other for good, but they actually meet again. I wanted the goodbye to feel more real and emotional, and also because of the popular quote "There were dragons when I was a boy", I keep convincing myself the dragons were disappear for good. Apparently not. Guess I was hoping to much. Overall until this day I'm still very upset and I won't acknowledge it's existence. My deepest fear has come true, Toothless leaving Hiccup for some girl dragon. I hate this movie. It's sad tho, because I love this franchise so much.
