How Should We Then Live? (1977)
43 Years Later
After watching the whole series, there's not one prediction that Schaeffer makes that has not come true, or is in the process of coming true, here in 2020. Enlightening and frightening at the same time.
Elementary (2012)
Cancer, Sex, Addiction, Repeat
Every episode, and I mean EVERY episode contains the above elements. This gets old fast. After season one, it jumps the shark into sometimes ridiculous story lines and plot devices.
Blue Bloods: Bones to Pick (2019)
Men bad - Women good
If you despise feminist drivel and the assumption that all men are chauvinist pigs and all women are angelic creatures incapable of error, then skip this episode.
The Andy Griffith Show: Man in a Hurry (1963)
A bit of irony?
Ironically, Robert Emhardt appeared in an episode of Alfred Hitchcock presents entitled "Road Hog" in December of 1959. In it he played a man who was NOT in a hurry, in fact he was an obnoxious road hog and so caused the death of a injured man. Later in the episode, he was now a man in a hurry as the tables were turned on him and he was desperately trying to get to a hospital before he died of poisoning. It makes you wonder if he was chosen on purpose for this episode of Andy Griffith as a tongue in cheek tribute to that episode.
Adam-12: The Search (1971)
Maybe the best/worst episode of the series.
I was six years old when this episode aired and I remember it vividly. My mom had to assure me that Pete would go to the hospital and be okay and back behind the wheel next week. I wasn't convinced.
To this day my wife and kids don't like seeing this episode for the same reasons. They don't make TV like this anymore.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Star Wars: The Last White Guy
Welcome to the only Star Wars written by National Public Radio, or perhaps the National Organization for Women, What a travesty of a great franchise. But isn't that what liberals do best, destroy tradition and replace it with politics? By the end of this movie there are almost no white males left, except of course for the bad guys. I think Walt Disney is turning over in his grave by now.
